Republicans in the Colorado Senate have introduced a bill to repeal the limits placed on magazine capacity in 2013. Here is the summary of SB18-052: The bill repeals statutory provisions: Prohibiting the possession of certain ammunition magazines; and Requiring each of certain ammunition magazines that are manufactured in Colorado on or after July 1, 2013, to include a permanent stamp or marking indicating that the magazine was manufactured or assembled after July 1, 2013. The magazine limits were heavily contested by the Colorado Sheriffs who sued Governor Hickenlooper over the law.  The lawsuit was eventually dismissed, because no one...

Suddenly it ran down his back ice cold: As a walker Torsten Koj (54) relaxed strolled along the banks of the Elbe, sighted the Dresdner a strange "creature" in the water! A head seemed to lift out of the water at the front, also back and tail were visible ... Is it the legendary monster of Loch Ness, which got lost after Elbflorenz? The "essence" appeared at the height of the Carolabrücke! "It was several meters long, slowly swam down the Elbe, that's Nessie, I thought!" Said Observer Koj. "I pulled out my camera, caught it several times." It would...

(Meredith) – The owner of a Chick-Fil-A in North Dakota has apologized after a mother claims the restaurant kicked her out for breastfeeding without a cover. Macy Hornung said she was nursing her child at a Fargo Chick-Fil-A when the franchise owner approached her Saturday evening. She said the owner asked her to cover up or leave the restaurant. “I was showing no more than the upper portion of my breast, barely more than what was visible in my shirt, and (she) asked me to cover,” Hornung wrote on Facebook. “I tried to explain that I couldn’t because my baby...

  • Star Trek takes PC to new extremes, even for Hollywood

Those of you (most of you) who haven't been watching the new Star Trek series, Star Trek Discovery, are missing out on a entirely new level of political correctness. The show features a black female protagonist named Michael; her boyfriend, a Klingon disguised as a Muslim-Arab security officer; an obese female cadet who is a genius in all areas of science; and a gay couple, one of whom is black and possibly also hispanic. But that isn't enough for SJWs. They actually worry that the black gay character, who is also hispanic, is not visibly hispanic.

Sweden is preparing to issue a public information manual on what to do in the event of war, as debate in the country grows over how to deal with the threat from Russia. The brochure, due to be sent to 4.7m households, will inform the public how they can take part in “total defence” during a war and secure water, food and heating. The booklet with the working title If Crisis or War Comes will also give guidance on dealing with threats from cyber attacks, terrorism and climate change, the FT reported. Russia’s annexation of Crimea and military support for...

It's not a popular thing to defend Paul Manafort, the international influence peddler who ran Donald Trump's presidential campaign for a short time in 2016. Just search for "Manafort" and, say, "sleazeball," and see what comes up. But even bad guys have a case sometimes. And Manafort has a case in his lawsuit against Trump-Russia special counsel Robert Mueller. Mueller sent Manafort a strong message last July, when FBI agents working for Mueller, guns drawn, broke into Manafort's house in the pre-dawn hours while Manafort and his wife slept inside. Mueller sent another message last October, when he indicted Manafort...
  • The 15:17 To Paris

Clint Eastwood’s new movie, “The 15:17 to Paris,” is based on true events, where three American heroes stopped a terrorist on a Paris train in 2015, and it is causing the Hollywood crowd to go nuts. They just tried to put the kibosh on certain scenes that didn’t fit their liberal agenda, and boy, that made Eastwood mad. So, the famous actor and director who voted for President Donald Trump just slapped the leftists hard with a brutal surprise. You’re going to love it.

A crazed, bug-eyed Cory Booker, junior senator from New Jersey, blasted Department of Homeland Security secretary Kristjen Nielsen during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday on immigration. Booker became so unhinged in his staged outrage that he repeatedly threatened Nielsen, with clenched fists pointed in her direction. Equal to Booker's overt violation of Nielsen's right to be treated without hostility and intimidation was the deranged content of his tirade. Nielsen had stated earlier she did not hear the president say the "s-hole" word at last week's White House meeting on DACA. Booker went ballistic and accused Nielsen of covering up...

Three weeks after college, I flew to Senegal, West Africa, to run a community center in a rural town. Life was placid, with no danger, except to your health. That danger was considerable, because it was, in the words of the Peace Corps doctor, "a fecalized environment." In plain English: s--- is everywhere. People defecate on the open ground, and the feces is blown with the dust – onto you, your clothes, your food, the water. He warned us the first day of training: do not even touch water. Human feces carries parasites that bore through your skin and cause...

Let our real estate magnate POTUS pull the levers. As Calif becomes 2 states the eastern provinces in Canada fall into our hands because they couldn't survive without Quebec. Call the new state New England and eliminate the 6 already there. 2 west coast senators minus 10 New England's existing states. Does that small region really deserve 12 Senators?

Why is it that some of the hottest hot takes come from Canada? This week, we're delving into the very 'none of our business' category of married coupled having children. On HGTV, Fixer Upper couple Chip and Joanna Gaines announced that they’re going to have a fifth child. Good for them. No, seriously—that’s great news, but some whack jobs denounced the announcement, citing overpopulation concerns. Really? That’s the troll bait that attracts these legions of losers. Folks, this is why Trump won. This busy-bodying from liberals, and make no mistake the trolls who cite population controls and global warming are...
  • Lawmakers want James Clapper prosecuted for surveillance testimony before statute of limitations

Some lawmakers would like to see the Justice Department prosecute former spy chief James Clapper for inaccurate testimony to Congress about domestic surveillance before it's too late. Privacy-conscious critics say looming five-year statutes of limitation for perjury and making false statements — establishing a March 12 deadline for charges — make an urgent case for action, and that nonprosecution would set a dangerous precedent that impedes oversight and executive-branch accountability. Clapper, director of national intelligence from 2010 to 2017, testified during a March 2013 Senate Intelligence Committee hearing that the NSA was "not wittingly” collecting “any type of data at...

Hillary Clinton blamed the Electoral College for her stunning defeat in the 2016 presidential election in her latest memoirs, “What Happened.” Some have claimed that the Electoral College is one of the most dangerous institutions in American politics. Why? They say the Electoral College system, as opposed to a simple majority vote, distorts the one-person, one-vote principle of democracy because electoral votes are not distributed according to population. To back up their claim, they point out that the Electoral College gives, for example, Wyoming citizens disproportionate weight in a presidential election. Put another way, Wyoming, a state with a population...

Escaping the East Coast chill, Michelle Obama spent part of her holiday weekend in Miami with her eldest daughter Malia. And while in sunny Florida, Obama swapped her prim post-White House wardrobe — (snip) Obama took a similar approach to her beachwear, which felt like a modern version of Jackie Kennedy's effortless beach style: distressed denim cutoffs, a mannish button-down, and a coordinating white bikini. Completing the look were a printed headscarf, oversize hoop earrings, and square lens shades.

Washington (CNN) — President Donald Trump took the opportunity Tuesday to slam Hillary Clinton during a surprise visit at gathering dubbed a "conversation with Women of America." Trump used to the event to take aim at Clinton, the first woman to win a major party presidential nomination. Trump joked about how he beat Clinton in Arkansas, a state where she served as first lady. "Arkansas, great state," Trump said, after noting a woman attending from the state. "How did I win Arkansas by so much when she came from Arkansas?" The gathering featured more than a dozen top White House...
