  • What Do The Never Trump Losers Do Now?

While it was immensely satisfying to watch the utter humiliation of the TRUMP TREASON COLLUSION RUSSIANS! liberals, that joy paled in comparison to the schadenfreude that came from watching the crestfallen Never Trump bitter-enders as they saw all their dreams die. Donald Trump is not going to be impeached; heck, it looks like he’s going to be reelected. And the Fredocon losers who went all in on opposing him because “Oh well I never!” are flat busted. Now, it’s not really fair to imply that the Never Trumpers hate Trump solely because he’s vulgar and crude – or, as...

The left has embraced the Green movement for a very simple reason. The left rejects the modern world because it was not built according to its ideology. Yet, its ideology, being pulled out of thin air, cannot build anything substantial or enduring. And most importantly, it cannot generate the kind of economic growth necessary to raise living standards across society. Most serious socialist ideologues know this. The strategy has always been, from Marx onward, that socialists would seize control of an already developed capitalist economy and then redistribute the wealth it had created in a more “equitable” manner. Creating new...

SEATTLE (AP) - In a startling turn of events, local liberal man Ethan Harrison reported that he recently went 24 straight hours without once being offended. "Like most people in my generation," explained Harrison, "I'm very sensitive to the outrages and injustices of Trump's America. I care deeply about things, and I respect everyone's right to hear about my caring. Usually at top volume, since I'm also sensitive to the needs of both the deaf AND hard-of-hearing communities." "But nothing was normal yesterday," said Harrison, pausing to tug at the skinny jeans he favored but didn't fit the description for....
  • Amazon Prime app won't launch after firmware update on Sony Blu-ray

After the latest firmware update on my Sony Blu-ray, the Amazon Prime app churns for about 60 seconds and then crashes the player. Other apps work. I powered down the player, reset the modem, set the player back to factory settings, checked network settings, etc. I contacted Sony, but the tech couldn't fix it and said he would get back with me in a few days to do some research. It's an older Sony BDPBX620. Anyone else have this happen before?

**SNIP** Many workers would then begin their workday in darkness. Worse, young children waiting for the school bus would also be in darkness, creating a potential safety hazard. Further, this delayed sunrise would impact the body’s circadian rhythms. Shift work has long been known to have negative impacts on health. The delayed winter sunrise would have a similar effect, causing the equivalent of jet lag. Various scientific bodies have released statements opposing year-round DST and endorsing a return to year-round standard time. The Society for Research on Biological Rhythms has stated that year-round standard time would enhance sleep, increase cardiac...

So, we're just going to make up our own. The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram). Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated. PLEASE DO NOT post the answer...

CHILLING photos have been leaked onto the internet which some fear show China's top secret 11,509mph hypersonic rocket system aimed at dodging US defences. Images of the impressive Jia Geng No 1 rocket have emerged on Chinese media and could rock Donald Trump's defence chiefs at the Pentagon. The pictures are said to show a prototype missile measuring 8.7 meters (28.5 feet) from tip to tail and weighing in at nearly four tonnes. It appears equipped with supersonic combustion ramjets - or scramjets - which suck in air at supersonic speeds leading to a much higher velocity. Scramjets can theoretically...

**SNIP** She wrote a rare-for-her op-ed for the Washington Post about the Mueller report, saying it “documents a serious crime against the American people.” Hours later, it’s the most-read thing on the Post’s website. Clinton said the 2016 election was “corrupted” by Russia - an assault “bigger than politics” - and “what our country needs now is clear-eyed patriotism, not reflexive partisanship.” Citing Watergate as a precedent, she said “televised hearings added to the factual record and, crucially, helped the public understand the facts in a way that no dense legal report could. Similar hearings with Mueller, former White House...

Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli didn’t fully grasp that their alleged bribery in the college admissions scandal was illegal, a source familiar with the case tells PEOPLE. “You read the complaint and they look like criminal masterminds,” the source tells PEOPLE. “But they really didn’t know the legalities of what was going on. They’re not lawyers and they’re not experts. They were parents who simply wanted to make sure that their daughters got into a good school.” **SNIP** “Calling in favors, donating money to the alumni association, hiring consultants. SANTA MONICA (CBSLA) — The woman suing former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton for sexual assault gave details to the media on Tuesday. Joined by her attorney Garo Mardirossian, former LA sports reporter Kelli Tennant described the alleged sexual misconduct that took place back in 2014 at a Santa Monica hotel. Tennant said that Walton forced himself on her in his hotel room after he allegedly invited her to his room. Tennant said that she wanted Walton to have a copy of her book. “Out of nowhere he got on top of me and pinned me down to...

Scotland’s first minister says ‘independent nations’ wield more power in EU than Scotland does within the UK. Scotland should hold a referendum on independence before 2021 if the U.K. leaves the EU, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said. “A choice between Brexit and a future for Scotland as an independent European nation should be offered in the lifetime of this parliament," the Scottish National Party leader said. "If Scotland is taken out of the EU, a referendum within that timescale must be open to us. That would be our route to avoiding the worst of the damage that Brexit would do.”...

The never-ending conversation about leaving the EU has stalled all other progress on economic policy. .. only prolongs a paralysis in necessary economic decision-making, which is already taking its toll. ...In effect, the day-to-day business of government has been stymied. After a decade of austerity, major decisions on taxation and expenditure—including a spending review this year—remain limited by the need to keep fiscal headroom for various Brexit scenarios. Meanwhile, attempts to get domestic legislation moving, including reforms for stretched public services like health and social care, have been thwarted by civil servants being redeployed to focus on EU exit issues,...
  • This Is The First Photo of an Exoplanet Candidate 1,200 Light-Years Away

Astronomers have managed to capture an amazingly clear image of CVSO 30c - a potential exoplanet orbiting a distant star named CVSO 30, that lies some 1,200 light-years away. Besides being breathtaking to look at, researchers are extra excited about the new photo, because it could mean that CVSO 30 actually has two planets orbiting it instead of just one. Follow-up observations and analysis will be needed to confirm CVSO 30c as a true exoplanet, but if verified, this would be the first star system to host both a close-in exoplanet and a far-out exoplanet. Four years ago, astronomers found...

2020 presidential contender Bernie Sanders faced an aggressive and, at times, outwardly combative audience at the She The People Forum devoted to women of color in Houston on Wednesday, as the self-described democratic socialist struggled to convince attendees of his commitment to minority and underprivileged communities. The tense moments underscored the challenges Sanders' campaign still faces despite its frontrunner status. The 77-year-old Vermont senator, long a champion for progressive causes, has sought to win over voters who turned out in massive numbers to support former President Barack Obama. In a particularly striking moment, host Aimee Allison asked Sanders what he...

The Florida House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a bill that would require former felons to pay all court fees and costs in addition to restitution before becoming eligible to vote. The measure passed 71-45, with the vote along party lines. The proposal's main sponsor, state Rep. James Grant, R-Tampa, argued that the bill -- which would not restore voting rights to those convicted of murder or felony sexual offenses -- helps clarify a referendum on the issue that voters approved in November. He stressed that requiring ex-felons to pay the debts was not unconstitutional and not discriminatory, the Tallahassee...

The U.S. Navy is drafting new guidelines for pilots and other employees to report encounters with "unidentified aircraft." The new effort comes in response to more sightings of unknown, advanced aircraft flying into or near Navy strike groups or other sensitive military facilities and formations, according to the service. "There have been a number of reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated airspace in recent years," the Navy said in a statement to Politico, which first reported the move. "For safety and security concerns, the Navy and the [U.S. Air Force] takes these reports very...

The Honorable Roger T. Benitez issued a stay on his own ruling to protect the hundreds of thousands of people who imported magazines into California while his ruling stood. He did that as a preemptive strike against the Ninth Circuit issuing a stay without the protection for those who had purchased magazines while it was in effect. He had a choice, issue the stay under his conditions, or have the Ninth Circuit issue the stay under their conditions. He chose wisely. The Summary Judgment ruling on Duncan v. Becerra was made on on 29 March, 2019. At that point it...
