A fundamentally political move against the conservative populistVIA TRISULTI, Italy (ChurchMilitant.com) - Italy's ministry for culture is claiming it has evicted Steve Bannon's "Gladiator School" from a 13th-century Italian monastery, 38 miles south of Rome. "As the DHI indicated when the Ministry for Culture first announced this politically motivated manoeuvre back in May, we will fight our case in court with every resource at our disposal," said Benjamin Harnwell, director of the Dignitatis Humanae Institute, in comments to Church Militant. "We look forward to demonstrating that the objections against the DHI promoted by the Left over the last two years...

The Vatican announced Giani’s replacement today, Gianluca Gauzzi Broccoletti, who has served in the Vatican police corps since 1995 and was appointed Giani’s deputy last year. FULL TITLE: While Jake Tapper Is Interviewing Kellyanne Conway, Jeff Zucker Tells Producer To Skip Commercials, Extend Interview, ‘Just F***Ing Nail Her’ While yesterday’s full video from Project Veritas #Expose CNN series was relatively tame, today founder James O’Keefe reports an instance that is truly despicable. While CNN host Jake Tapper was on the air interviewing White House Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway, CNN President Jeff Zucker enters the control room and tells the show’s executive producer to skip commercials, extend the interview from seven minutes to 25, and to “just f***ing nail her.” The whistleblower, Cary Poarch, donned his hidden...

YAOUNDÉ, Cameroon - For decades Nigerian migrants have left their country - both legally and illegally - hoping to escape poverty, conflict, and corruption. Those traveling without proper documents faced several risks, including hunger and thirst, robbery, and the dangers of sea crossings into Europe. If caught, Nigerian migrants can be detained and eventually deported from their destination or transit countries. The Bishop of Sokoto, Matthew Hassan Kukah, told Crux that migration is “the ultimate manifestation of our state of despair.” The bishop said the story of Africa is the story of a very irresponsible elite that has shown no...

The United Nations Human Rights Council has been a bad joke for a long time, with many of the world’s worst human rights abusers honored with membership. But tomorrow we will see the reductio ad absurdum, as Mauritania is voted onto the Human Rights Council. While the Mauritanian government officially denies that slavery is ongoing in the country, Mauritanian watchdog groups allege that one out of every two members of the country’s Haratine ethnic minority group are enslaved, and that as many as 20% of the population is enslaved. The exact number of slaves within the country is unclear, and...

More than 40 states now use one or more of Amazon’s election offerings, according to a presentation given by an Amazon executive this year and seen by Reuters...snip

The breathtaking hypocrisy of many of President Donald Trump’s accusers is about to be fully exposed. If you’ve been watching the impeachment theater these past few weeks, you’ve no doubt heard the very serious crimes they accuse the U.S. president of having committed. They have accused him of using his office for political gain and pressuring Ukraine to help investigate former Vice President Joe Biden. The fake news media has begun a full-court press to sell the narrative of a besieged president who is slipping underwater, growing more and more unpopular by the day, as so-called whistleblowers and manufactured scandals...

The bell in the Independence Hall tower rang at 9 a.m., and Mark Sanford took a deep breath. He grabbed a giant check for “one trillion dollars,” stood next to a tiny wooden lectern, and asked me if I was ready for him to kick off a news conference announcing his bid to challenge President Donald Trump in the 2020 Republican primary. It didn’t really feel like a news conference. I was the only reporter there. And when it began, the only others around besides his two aides were a family 30 yards away with a selfie stick and a...

Michael Flynn's legal counsel says phones that belonged to Joseph Mifsud likely contain exculpatory evidence The Department of Justice (DOJ) has obtained two phones of Joseph Mifsud, one of the central figures of the 2016 Russia investigation, and the lawyer of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has requested them, saying they likely contain exculpatory evidence. The phones, two BlackBerry models, “only recently” came into the government’s possession, said Flynn’s lawyer, Sidney Powell, a former prosecutor, in an Oct. 15 court filing (pdf). Data and metadata on the phones “is material, exculpatory, and relevant to the defense of Mr. Flynn,” she said....

The release of the warrant is part of a broader campaign by the president against the intelligence officials who initiated the Russia probe. PRESIDENT Donald Trump is pledging to make public foreign surveillance warrants associated with the probe into possible links between his election campaign and the Kremlin, asserting that the FBI officials behind the inquiry "committed treason."

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s refusal to answer repeated questions at Tuesday night’s debate about how she would fund Medicare for All underscores the challenge she faces finding a politically acceptable means to meet the idea’s huge price tag — a challenge that only intensified today with the release of an eye-popping new study. The Urban Institute, a center-left think tank highly respected among Democrats, is projecting that a plan similar to what Warren and Sen. Bernie Sanders are pushing would require $34 trillion in additional federal spending over its first decade in operation. That’s more than the federal government’s total cost...

Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation. Q describes this awakening as follows: "The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding ‘mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of...

A growing number of local legislatures in cities across the country want to put an end to drive-thru windows. In August, Minneapolis became the latest city to pass an ordinance banning the construction of new restaurant drive-thrus. Officials say the ban will help curb pollution, make the city more walkable and improve health problems pertaining to obesity. Other places that have enacted similar measures say they are aiming to combat traffic, cut carbon monoxide emissions and litter. Thus far, cities in California, Missouri and New Jersey have implemented similar bans. Still, many consumers are worried about one of their favorite...

Laura Ingraham had a rough time keeping her laughter in check while responding to Hunter Biden's interview with ABC News' "Good Morning America," criticizing not only Biden but ABC's Amy Robach's interview skills. "After months of hiding out Hunter Biden showed his face for a media interview with an amiable anchor, GMA's Amy Robach," Ingraham said Tuesday on "The Ingraham Angle." "It was filmed in a cozy kitchen and the exchange at times felt more like an episode of 'Oprah.'" "How does she not burst into laughter throughout this entire interview?" Ingraham asked. Biden said Tuesday in his first televised...

A 21-year-old woman surrendered her newborn to a Los Angeles fire station this week, shedding light on the power of Safe Surrender laws. The baby was taken to a downtown L.A. fire station at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and found to be in good health, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The child was then taken to a hospital. California's Safe Surrender law aims "to save lives of newborn infants at risk of abandonment by encouraging parents or persons with lawful custody to safely surrender the infant within 72 hours of birth, with no questions asked," the fire department...

Biden commented during the debate and seemed to imply that Trump's presidency would end tomorrow, October 17. This may have been posted already. I searched and did not find any references. With Biden rambling it may have been nothing or he could have spilled the beans.
