  • The Number "3000", Puerto Rico, and the Liberal Narrative

The Media seems to be using the number 3,000 a awful lot concerning last year's Puerto Rico's Hurricane. Hmm... 9/11 killed about ~ 3,000 people. It seems to me that with the MSM is trying to tie the two together to say: " Donald Trump caused a 9/11 size event in Puerto Rico because he is racist ' stuff. " The number 3,000 so soon after 9/11 just made my ears perk up.

PARIS (AFP) – Global warming may wipe out three-quarters of Europe's alpine glaciers by 2100 and hike sea levels by four metres (13 feet) by the year 3000 through melting the West Antarctic icesheet, two studies published on Sunday said. The research places the spotlight on two of the least understood aspects of climate change: how, when and where warming will affect glaciers on which many millions depend for their water, and the problems faced by generations in the far distant future. The glacier study predicts that mountain glaciers and icecaps will shrink by 15-27 percent in volume terms on...

Diplomacy: Yes, a traveling president deserves security. But the 3,000-person entourage accompanying Barack Obama to Mumbai, India, this week reeks of pashalike decadence. With an electoral repudiation still ringing in his ears, we can't blame President Obama for wanting to get away from Washington as a new Congress prepares to roll in. He's hardly the first chief executive to do it. But there are problems with this "strategic" visit, with a stated interest in celebrating Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, that suggest this won't be time well spent. In a time of trillion-dollar stimulus packages and $600 billion Fed...

Obama’s latest attempt to shove the government takeover of healthcare down the throats of the American people, regardless of consequences, has taken yet another insane turn. On Monday, March 15, in his Health Care Reform address in Strongsville, Ohio, President Obama claimed that ObamaCare will reduce health insurance premiums by as much as “3,000 percent.” The words lie and impossible are insufficient to describe the outright idiocy and ridiculousness of such a preposterous assertion. Unhappy with just spreading fear and misinformation about America’s healthcare system, scaring voters, trashing insurance companies, defaming conservative opponents, avoiding a fair and balanced debate of...

Shanghai index drops below 3,000 By V. Phani Kumar, MarketWatch Last Update: 12:02 AM ET Jun 12, 2008 HONG KONG (Menafn - MarketWatch) -- Chinese shares in Shanghai suffered big losses Thursday to pull the benchmark stock index down to less than half its value at the past year's record high. The drop came in spite of economic data, which showed that inflation eased in May, as investors worried the relief was only temporary. Other markets in Asia tumbled as well, with Japanese shares dropping as fears about high oil prices and rising inflation weighed down real estate companies such...

Diplomats say Iran is ready to begin installing 3,000 centrifuges to produce enriched uranium after completing work at an underground facility. Media reports quoting diplomatic sources say preparations are being made to install the centrifuges at Iran's plant in Natanz to produce nuclear fuel. The reports say the revelation is based on findings by U.N. nuclear agency inspectors who visited Natanz this week. Highly enriched uranium can be used to make atomic weapons. The United States and its Western allies believe Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons. Tehran denies the charge. Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates says the...

Boat provides historical insight The boat would have been powered by up to 12 men A Bronze Age logboat which had lain unseen in the River Tay for 3,000 years is being studied by archaeologists. It is hoped the find will yield important new information about how human ancestors lived. Although the boat, made from the trunk of a single oak, was found five years ago, it was only lifted out of the Tay during the summer. Repairs carried out on the 30ft vessel have already given experts an insight into Bronze Age technology. The boat, which would have been...

The pictograms, painted on 3, 000 year-old ceramic utensils, were found near the ancient Perperikon fortress, some 300 kilometers (186 miles) southeast of Sofia, archaeological team leader Nikolay Ovcharov told state TV. He said the discovery could back a still unconfirmed hypothesis that the Thracians, had a script of their own. The...

An extra 3,000 British troops for Iraq By Michael Smith and Andrew Sparrow (Filed: 06/09/2003) The Government is to send several thousand more troops to Iraq, with some arriving there as early as tomorrow. But the full brigade-level force of 5,000 which the Foreign Office wanted to avert "strategic failure" in Iraq cannot be sent because commanders do not have enough easily deployable troops available. They are so short of men to reinforce the 10,000 already there that those who go will have to fly in two separate groups. A thousand are to leave now, to be followed by about...
