Spotted in Minnesota... The outfit behind this and other snarky, similarly-themed roadside billboards -Minnesota-based 'Action4Liberty'- is a grass-roots citizens group that set-up a webpage on which to take donations, and is just buying ads with whatever comes-in. Seven stated goals of the organization: free marketslimited government reduced government spending lower taxes voter integrity term limits restoring America's founding principles Sounds good to me! Other gems from Action4Liberty (note 'vote CONSERVATIVE' messaging, rather than merely 'Republican')... I like the one with the piggy face-down in the drink~ h/t Roberto

The controversial super PAC Special Operations for America, led by former Navy SEALs, is set to release a blistering new ad against President Obama Tuesday at the Republican National Convention. The ad, titled “Bow to Nobody,” depicts Navy SEALs in combat situations; it then proclaims that they fight so that America will not have to bow to anybody. Then the punch line: the infamous photo of Obama bowing to the Saudi king. The ad is sure to provoke massive consternation on the left, which has been in a frenzy ever since Special Operations for America launched. The event at which...

Via Drudge, the inevitable finish for an ad for a President whose track record on vetting and research has been all too vividly featured in our Obamateurism series. Earlier this week, Team Obama stepped up its War On Wimminses strategy with this ad, featuring women who identify as Republican but who intend to vote for Barack Obama in 2012. However, as the old Sesame Street song used to go, at least one of these women are not like the other: CLICK ABOVE LINK FOR THE VIDEO OF THE AD: "REPUBLICAN WOMEN FOR OBAMA" Maria Ciano who is featured in the...

The pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action lobbed a heavy-duty attack at Mitt Romney this morning, airing an ad that links the closure of a GST Steel plant in Kansas City to the loss of a family’s health insurance — and the death of a woman some time later. The man speaking in the ad, Joe Soptic, says, “Mitt Romney and Bain closed the plant, I lost my health care and my family lost their health care. And a short time after that my wife became ill.” Soptic explains he’s not exactly sure when his wife became sick, but that...

The Obama campaign began airing a TV ad Saturday in key election states attacking Mitt Romney for his stances on abortion and Planned Parenthood that was immediately rebuked by the Romney campaign as “viciously” negative and false. The 30-second spot titled “Troubled” is airing in Virginia and seven other swing states. “Every woman who believes decisions about our bodies and our health-care should be our own is troubled Mitt Romney supports overturning Roe v. Wade,” says a female voice at the beginning of the ad. “Romney backed a law that outlaws all abortions, even in cases of rape and incest.”;...

The Romney campaign goes negative for the first time, as Jim Geraghty points out, in the general-election cycle --- at least on television. Team Romney has been hitting Barack Obama for his remark that "the private sector is doing fine" almost from the moment he said it last week. Mitt Romney himself slammed Obama's remarks at an appearance in swing-state Iowa, and the campaign has posted more than one web video featuring the remarks. Now they're putting their money where Obama's mouth is:CLICK ABOVE LINK FOR THE VIDEO CNN reports that this will have $3.24 million behind it and will...

Are we living in the 70′s again, where “groovy” was a common phrase? If this is what Obama is using to convince the black community that he is still the “one”, then his campaign is in the dumpster. Weasel Zippers added the video to an ACTUAL RADIO AD. I work in this business, and this is one of the worst radio ads I’ve ever heard in my life. Weasel’s video makes the ad even more comical than I thought it already was. Thanks, Zip!

The $50 billion General Motors (GM) bailout was a Democrat Crony Socialist nightmare. The Obama Administration illegally over-rewarded its union friendsand destroyed Republican-enemy auto dealers, to name but two facets of the titanic debacle. We the Taxpayers are still out $30+ billion on the auto bailout. Meanwhile, GM is cutting even more Crony Socialist deals. General Motors told the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission today that it failed to report a $600,000 deal given to an ad agency where the wife of GM's chief financial officer is a partner. In a filing GM said it had "recently learned about" a...

The Obama campaign has released a new ad suggesting that little girls will never be able to live full lives unless the government subsidizes their birth control. The YouTube video titled “Letters to the President: The Dreams of Our Daughters” features a mother talking about her two young daughters, six-year-old Daisy and nine-year-old Caroline, in a letter to President Obama. She thanks him for the HHS mandate, which requires all religious institutions and other businesses to include free coverage for birth control, sterilization and abortifacient drugs even if it violates their deeply held religious beliefs. While no overt mention of...

“Do you know what your problem is?” asked Barack Obama rhetorically of erstwhile “uncle” Reverend Jeremiah Wright; “You have to tell the truth.” This exchange was related to Edward Klein, author of the newly published Obama exposé Amateur, in an interview that Wright granted the writer. The reverend’s response to the President was, “That’s a good problem to have.” Unfortunately, it’s clearly not a problem Barack Obama has. The latest story evidencing this is the shocking revelation that Obama’s literary firm billed him as having been “born in Kenya” in promotional material issued in 1991. Joel Pollak broke the story...

Watch the spot first and try to guess which part has been flagged as controversial before you click here to check your answer. I knew he’d get rapped for it the moment I saw the ad this morning, and if a dummy like me saw it coming, it’s hard to see how his ad team didn’t. Or maybe, having consumed online political media voraciously for the past six years (burp), my sense of what gets them to perk up is simply better honed than Team Sweater Vest’s? Either way, here’s their adamant denial that they were equating anyone with anyone...

The same questions were to be asked of each candidate. That did not happen. Just watch the questions Mitt Rpmney receives that no other candidate receives. Did Rick Santorum or Newt Gingrich receive a very emotional question? This forum was made to be a pre-planned ad for Mitt Romney!

Clint Eastwood says his recent Super Bowl commercial wasn’t about politics. Chrysler Group LLC aired a two-minute television commercial called “It’s Halftime in America” during Super Bowl XLVI that featured the veteran actor and director. Some pundits have argued that the tone seemed to favor the re-election of President Obama.

Former Vice President Al Gore didn't invent the Internet, but apparently President Barack Obama wants voters to believe he created trash collectors and bus drivers. His first campaign ad of 2012 uses claims made in a debunked study that counted such jobs to boost its “green energy” job count above 2 million. The 30-second TV ad has been aired in six “battleground” states, including Michigan. Among other specious claims in the ad is one giving President Obama credit for 2.7 million “green energy” jobs nationally. The source of this claim was a Brookings Institute study that made the rounds of...
