Anheuser-Busch is renaming Budweiser, its most famous brand, as America. All 12-ounce cans and bottles of Budweiser will feature the word "America" on their labels, instead of Budweiser, in the brand's distinctive cursive font. The temporary label swap, which starts on May 23 and will go through the presidential election in November, is meant "to inspire drinkers to celebrate America and Budweiser's shared values of freedom and authenticity."

Troopers with the Sandusky post of the state Highway Patrol are investigating a serious injury traffic crash involving a car that crashed into their patrol post at 9:07 p.m. Tuesday. A 2006 Ford Fusion was eastbound on U.S. 6 near mile post 4 at a high rate of speed when it traveled off the right side of the roadway. Iditarod officials said a snowmachine attack on two top Iditarod teams has left one dog dead and several injured. Two Rivers musher Aliy Zirkle and Denali Park’s Jeff King reported a snowmachiner repeatedly attempted to harm their dog teams as they traveled to the Yukon River checkpoint of Nulato early Saturday morning.
