If only for this life we have Hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. 1 Corinthians 15:19 The days are numbered for Iran’s Supreme Mules. It doesn’t matter if Ahmacrazynutjob or Musavi is put in power by the power crazed Mooselip Marxists, Freedom is on the march. That is what unnerves dictators like a cat in a North Korean Kitchen as these protests grow, thanks to the Freedom President; George W Bush. Free Democracies are surrounding Iran and these people are finally saying, why not us? This would never be happening if Saddamn and the...

As dawn emerges over Tehran, the world awaits the outcome of the latest, great struggle for liberty. While none of us born in the US can quite grasp either the fear or exhilaration experienced by those on the streets of Tehran, they should know that we, the PEOPLE of the United States of America stand with them.To our great shame, our government does not.One day this historic injustice will be rectified.

Letterman has jumped the shark. The recent bad jokes about Palin and her daughter shows that Letterman has jumped the shark. A term used to describe a TV shows beginning of the end. This usually corresponds to the point where a show with falling ratings apparently becomes more desperate to draw in viewers. In the process of undergoing these changes, the TV or movie series loses its original appeal. Shows that have "jumped the shark" are typically deemed to have passed their peak. Face it if Letterman cannot or will not attack Obama or the Clintons so his show has...

What do you believe Obama will accomplish in his first 100 days? I'll give you a few to start... 1) Gays in the military 2) Unlimited tax funded abortion at all stages 3) Federal gay marriage laws 4) Naming sexual orientation as a federally protected class. Preach against it go to jail.

Thank you President George Bush! I believe that history will give President Bush his due - but as he finishes his second term, I thought it would be appropriate to thank him for his service to our country now. Come join me, and fight the tide of all those Bush haters! I know it is popular to trash on him, whether you are a Democrat or Republican, Liberal or Conservative. I personally have never seen a sitting President so attacked and maligned as he was in the media and the entertainment industry. The left has proven themselves to be a...

I realize I'm a relatively new FReeper, but I consulted the thread on vanity postings prior to posting this. If I've posted this incorrectly, please advise.

Since it's very obvious now that Barack Obama is NOT a "natural born" U.S. citizen and therefore unqualified to be President of the United States, has anyone considered filing a lawsuit to protect America's national security secrets, nuclear launch codes and the military chain of command in the event Obama is somehow sworn in as President? The lawsuit could state that Obama is not a "natural born citizen" based on all the evidence from the multitudes of lawsuits being filed against him regarding his citizenship status and thereby makes him unqualified to hold the office of President. The lawsuit would...

36-0 WHOOOOOOOOO. Thank God, I can go to work Monday. I've been letting my mouth overload my hind-quarters, and it would have been embarassing if the Tide had lost, or even if the Tigers had held it close. Bring on the Gators.

Let's get to the bottom of what party is better for the economy. In the last 40 years has any economic growth legislation been inspired by Democrats ?

Her VP nomination acceptance speech was amazing, energizing and excited millions. She was sharp, wholesome, down to earth, boldly conservative and beautiful. Then, the liberal media, blatantly committed to getting Obama elected, set out to destroy her. “Sarah Palin is stupid” was their mantra. Every late night talk show host, biased liberal TV interviewer, biased liberal newspaper reporter and democrat talking head united to create the paradigm, “Palin is an idiot”. Suddenly, every word out of Sarah's mouth was under severe scrutiny. Who could survive such a tsunami of attacks on their intellect? Meanwhile, Obama saying the US has 57...

At a funeral one day, the minister stood up and said, "You know, I didn't know Ralph terribly well. Could someone stand up and say something nice about him?" Silence. Finally, a guy stands up in the back of the room to offer words of consolation. "Yes?" the minister says. "His brother was worse," the mourner says. It's an old joke, but for bond investors, it rings true: The only thing good that can be said about bond funds lately is that stock funds have been worse. If you're looking for someplace to put your money, a high-grade corporate bond...

The reinvention of Spitler is underway.....we’re all supposed to forget his crimes because HE wants to get back in the game. This multi-faceted PR-driven reinvention is costing big bucks......an editorial in the WaPo, and whatnot. Probably his daddy dipped into the tax-exempt family "foundation" to bailout little Eliot. Spitzer escaped criminal charges so expect to hear him whine that since he wasn't charged with breaking laws, he should be forgiven in order to return to politics. He wants Obama to hire him----to shamelessly resurrect his tarnished image "walking on water beside the Messiah." The larger question is not who---but how...

I know that many of you were as disappointed in the last election as I was. But why was the election lost by the GOP? There were a number of factors contributing to this, and early on with the Northern states allowing open primaries for Democrats and Moderates to "cross-over" and vote for "their" candidate of McCain. Taking nothing away of the man's military service, these early primaries ensured that all we got as a candidate was a Democrat-Light who made a name for himself of "reaching out and across the aisle." And he then went so far as to...

General Motors chairman Rick Wagoner says that his company is in such poor financial shape -- indeed, Deutsche Bank considers the company's stock worthless -- that it "needs" welfare assistance from American taxpayers before it runs out of cash. Well, Wagoner didn't put it exactly like that. He called it a "federal aid package." "This is an issue that needs to be addressed urgently," Wagoner told Automotive News, adding that now is the time to "overshoot, not undershoot" the level of assistance. GM is willing to offer the government preferred stock, speed the introduction of fuel-efficient vehicles and set limits...

I was in Chicago to make speech to meeting of bankers, stock brokers, RE brokers, professional investors, etc. They all had one question: When will MSM admit that market meltdown is reaction to knowledge that Obama's people will run country, and business leaders of all ilks have absolutely no confidence in Dems? Most interesting were Social Liberals who loved Obama's social programs, but hate his approach to everything else, and blame him for market crash.

Seems like cutting the capital gains tax would have been a whole lot better than this Bailout. Cheaper too. This whole Bailout has led to untold worldwide economic turmoil and collapse. Why doesn't the president Fire the Secretary of the Treasury and cut capital gains immediately. Maybe we can cancel the bailout before much of the $$$ is spent and do what was needed in the first place. Who knows the market might be 15,000 if he a had done that in Sept. One dang this is for sure it would not be this bad and every Tom, Dick and...

Don’t get me wrong Ronald Wilson Reagan is my favorite politician of the 20th Century but it seems that ever since Reagan conservatives have made two tactical errors: 1) A reliance on personalities to carry the message; and 2) Treating conservatism as a political dogma and not an ideological movement. Our Reliance initially on Reagan and now persons like Rush, Hannity and others to carry the ball is a ‘from the top down’ attitude that directly conflicts with the very notion of conservatism. Reliance on personalities, no matter how true to the cause, allows the other side to attack the...

I would like to suggest to those who are discouraged by the results of the Republican Primary, and the Presidential Election outcome, that you join your local Republican Party as soon as possible. That you actually attend the meetings, take on the jobs, do the work, not for your own political gain, but to support your conservative priniples and conservative candidates who will have mass appeal( like Sarah Palin). Four years will be here before you know it, and we can not take another setback of this magnitude. It is time to start promoting NEW CONSERVATIVE TALENT ,not just promote...

I'm sorry for the vanity, but I'm really tired of sitting around complaining and I want to join a group to try to have an effect on upcoming elections, especially after seeing Sarah on Greta's show. I want to support Sarah and candidates like her. Dick Morris has touted The National Republican Trust, are there any other organizations out there I can support as far as time and some money goes? For the moment I'm done giving to the RNC, I'm kind of mad at how Sarah has been treated and would rather contribute elsewhere if possible to help out...
