Sen. Raphael Warnock fired back at former President Donald Trump for disparaging embattled Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. “I’m never surprised when I’ve seen Donald Trump attacking women, especially black women. This is who he is,” Warnock (D-Ga.) told CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday. “Donald Trump deserves a hearing before a jury of his peers,” he went on. “I’m going to allow the judicial process to proceed.” Warnock was evasive about whether he believes Willis should remain in charge of the 13-count indictment against Trump amid controversy over her relationship with one of her subordinates, insisting that...

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the United States should not send additional aid to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “war machine.” Partial transcript as follows: MARGARET BRENNAN: You have long been a critic of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The other night, President Biden was heard on a hot mic after the State of the Union address saying he has to have a come to Jesus talk with Netanyahu about letting humanitarian aid into Gaza. Kahllid Al-Alim, an antisemite running for the Los Angeles Unified School Board (LAUSD) in the first district, leads by two votes in the initial count of Super Tuesday ballots, and appears headed to a runoff in November. As Breitbart News noted last month: [Al-Alim] spread antisemitic hatred online and liked violent, pornographic posts. Al-Alim said that a book by the racist, antisemitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, titled The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, which falsely claims Jews control the economy and exploit black people, should be “MANDATORY” reading. Al-Alim apologized for his posts.

Vice President Kamala Harris has broken with President Joe Biden to call for 'an immediate ceasefire' in Gaza. Her comments, made during a speech in Selma, Alabama, on Sunday, are the strongest condemnation of Israel's conduct since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack by a senior member of the Biden administration. They came just a day before she is due to meet with a top Israeli official to discuss a potential ceasefire deal and a day after the US began air-dropping aid to the war-torn country, 'Before I begin I must address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza,' Harris said. 'What we...

It's very early doors up at the count in Rochdale, but already George Galloway's team say they have taken the seat. A source close to the former Labour MP said they have won "comfortably". Given the polls closed less than an hour ago, there is still a lot of time left before we get an official result. But the confidence of the Galloway team to make this call shows how successful the campaign has been in their view. Speaking after the polls closed, Mr Galloway said: "Thank you to every voter who took the time to send a message to...

Controversial politician George Galloway has emerged as the bookies’ favourite to be named Rochdale’s next MP following a chaotic by-election campaign. Galloway, a former Labour and Respect Party MP, now leads the Workers Party of Britain and has set his sights on another return to parliament. To say the contest has been be chaotic would be an understatement. Labour, which is defending the seat following the death of the sitting MP in January, withdrew support for its candidate, Azhar Ali, over remarks suggesting Israel was complicit with the massacre of its own people on 7 October. The implosion of Ali’s...

Former Rep. Justin Amash (I-Mich.) announced Thursday that he’s launching a long-shot bid for retiring Sen. Debbie Stabenow’s (D-Mich.) seat. Amash left the Republican Party in 2019 following his criticism of former President Trump and switched to independent, however he is running in the GOP primary for the Senate seat. “Regardless of who wins the White House and Congress, the United States will remain deeply polarized,” Amash wrote in a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, as he announced his candidacy. “What we need is not a rubber stamp for either party, but an independent-minded senator prepared to challenge...

When does life begin? I think most agree that eggs and sperm individually by themseves is not life. By many standards it starts at conception, when they join and become an embryo. Or, is it when there is a heartbeat? Or, later when viable? Or, at birth? If Christian, then thou shall not kill. But what does that mean? At conception? Maybe when implanted (but what about in the not to far future, when a baby might be grown in an artifical womb? What about when faked in a mentally ill man?). Once there is a heartbeat? Once viable? Once...

During Sunday’s broadcast of CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) voiced his disapproval of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership. Clyburn, a confidant of President Joe Biden, argued Netanyahu’s leadership had been bad for Israel. However, he would not go as far as to say Biden agreed with him about Netanyahu. “When it comes to Israel, should he stick with his position on Prime Minister Netanyahu or perhaps rethink that relationship?” “Face the Nation” host Robert Costa asked.

JUST IN: The shooter at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church has been identified as a transgender Bernie Sanders supporter. Shocker. The individual was identified as Genesse Moreno who was previously known as Jeffery Escalante. Moreno, who is clearly unstable, allegedly brought a 5-year old to the shooting who was shot during the incident. The child is in critical condition. The gun that was used to carry out the mass shooting allegedly had "Palestine" on it.| Back in 2020, Moreno shared a photo of Bernie Sanders on Instagram with the caption: "I WANT HIM IN THE OFFICE as the US PRESIDENT."

Labour says it has “withdrawn support” for Rochdale by-election candidate Azhar Ali after his comments on Israel. The BBC understands Mr Ali has been suspended from Labour pending an investigation. The party said the decision was taken after "new information about further comments" by Mr Ali came to light. Earlier on Monday, Labour had defended standing by him as a candidate. It is too late for the party to replace Mr Ali as its candidate. The decision means that Mr Ali will remain on the ballot as the Labour candidate for Rochdale, but if he is elected he will sit...

A former Dutch prime minister and his wife have died hand in hand in a rare double euthanasia. Dries van Agt and his wife, Eugenie, were both 93 and were buried together on Thursday. “He died hand in hand with his beloved wife Eugenie van Agt-Krekelberg, the support and anchor with whom he was together for more than 70 years and whom he always continued to refer to as ‘my girl’,” The Rights Forum, a human rights charity he founded, said on Friday. The couple met as students at Nijmegen. The Rights Forum described him as “idiosyncratic” and said that...

A senior BBC employee described white people as a “barbaric bloodthirsty rapacious murderous genocidal thieving parasitical deviant breed,” while also calling the UK a “bigoted” country. Tell us what you really think. Dawn Queva, who is a scheduling coordinator at BBC Three, made the comments on her Facebook page. It is unclear whether they were made before or after she was hired by the BBC, which appears to have done no checks on her background. While Queva appears to vehemently hate white people, that didn’t stop her living in the UK, a country she branded “bigoted” and “genocidal,” while also...

Keep sending money. That was the urgent call Saturday from U.N. Secretary Secretary-General Antonio Guterres as he implored the world to not stop funding the embattled National Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) — the special refugee agency for Palestinians — after staff members were shown to have been part of the Hamas terror attack against Israel on October 7, 2023. The veteran Portuguese socialist promised anyone caught having been involved in the attack would be sternly dealt with, but in the interim seeks no halt to the flow of money from countries that donate to UNRWA coffers, the Times of...

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) said in a Sunday interview he’s not afraid of facing backlash from former President Trump for backing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) campaign against the former president. “I’ve got the Trump antibodies,” Massie, a surrogate for DeSantis’s campaign, told “Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream when she asked whether he’s worried about the “price” he “might pay” for backing DeSantis over Trump. Massie pointed to his opposition to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, signed into law under Trump on March 27, 2020, to aid in the pandemic recovery early on. Massie said...

Representative James Clyburn (D-SC) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that former President Donald Trump was closely tied to the June 17, 2015 deadly mass shooting at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Let’s start with President Biden’s trip to tomorrow to historic Mother Emanuel church. What are you hoping to hear from President Biden and is it fair to tie in any way what happened at the Emanuel AME church to Donald Trump? Donald Trump had barely launched his campaign when that attack happened.”

A furious Joe Biden called Donald Trump 'sick' and a 'loser' in his first campaign speech of 2024 saying 'we nearly lost America' on January 6. The president, 80, launched an incensed attack on his predecessor and potential 2024 general election rival at Valley Forge in Pennsylvania, where George Washington organized an army to fight the British in 1777. Biden condemned the Republican frontrunner for his 'lies' and for making his White House campaign about 'himself' in the remarks marking the third anniversary of the Capitol Riot. At his first public event since a Caribbean vacation, Biden said 'democracy is...
