Here we go again!,so what will Obama open up the next SOTU Address with? Record Stock Market & 5.4 Unemployment? We go through this every year. And after each SOTU Address we all discuss and/or make a list of the issues Obama "Forgot To Bring Up".Has he ever brought up the debt? Has he ever brought up the never-ending violence/terrorism in Europe/Africa? Hey! Maybe this time he will bring up Al Sharpton and Bill Deblasio! 2014 should go down in history as the year we were all exposed to never-ending lies and scandals from the left! And this time, It...

Historians have a tough time agreeing on many of the turning points in ancient history. One of them, in light of events during the past several years and the tone of President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address on January 28, seems particularly relevant. (snip) There’s little doubt that the United States of America has reached a point where, relatively unhampered by legislative or judicial barriers, its president and his bureaucracy exceed the limits of the nation’s Constitution “as a matter of course.” They in turn are quietly but effectively under the control of our “independent” central bank. Decades...

Suppose a president of the United States delivered a State of the Union address and nobody cared? Isn't that what happened Tuesday night when the increasingly irrelevant -- and, yes, boring Barack Obama -- droned on about predictable things in a predictable way? We have been forced to listen to him so many times (often several times in a single day) that it could qualify as cruel and unusual punishment in violation of the Constitution. One of the problems with political speech is that it exists in its own world and creates its own standards. Politicians measure their policies according...

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Well, listening to that excerpt from Ed Henry, you would think that's the campaign speech of someone running against Barack Obama. Obama is indicting the four years, the five years he's been president. He said the rich have done well, everybody else has stalled, inequality has increased. Well, the four years, the five years are his years. Essentially, he's saying my job now is to undo what I have done in the five years of my presidency. It's hardly sort of a ringing call to arms. I'm sure they now tested all of these words, inequality, opportunity, all...

[The Clown] will vow to pursue a populist economic agenda with or without the help of lawmakers in his State of the Union address on Tuesday night. [The Clown] will say he will not “stand still,” but will act on his own if he cannot work with Congress. [The Clown also will say]..."America does not stand still – and neither will I. So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that’s what I’m going to do.”

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Folks, let me tell you one thing we're not gonna do today. We are not gonna sit here and be totally taken off our game by speculating what may happen at the State of the Coup address tonight. I mean, it's predictable. I'm gonna show you, I'm gonna go back, I'm gonna play some sound bites of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama in previous States of the Coup addresses. Well, no, those were State of the Union addresses. Tonight is the State of the Coup. And you'll see how things don't change. But more than that, it's...

Mike Lee, who was elected to the Senate during the Tea Party wave of success in 2010, has proven to be an effective leader within the Senate, offering tangible solutions in the face of Obama’s empty rhetoric. As we enter into another significant election year,...

A new Rasmussen poll reveals that 62% of those polled feel tonight’s State of the Union (SOTU) address from Barack Obama is “mostly just for show.” Obama’s trustworthiness among the American public is slipping; last year 53% of those polled felt the address was “just for show.”

Rep. Vance McAllister is bringing “Duck Dynasty” reality TV star Willie Robertson as his guest to the State of the Union address, the Louisiana Republican announced Tuesday. I’m happy to announce that my friend, constituent & small business owner @williebosshog will be attending tonight’s #SOTU as my guest.— Vance McAllister (@RepMcAllister) January 28, 2014 During the closing days of McAllister’s 2013 special election campaign, Robertson starred in a TV ad supporting the Louisiana Republican, who he called his “good buddy.” Robertson’s name had been briefly mentioned as a potential candidate for the open seat when Rep. WASHINGTON — President Obama will tell Congress in his State of the Union address Tuesday to either act or get out of the way, White House officials said Sunday.

Because when I imagine Barack Obama's State of the Union, I see a handsome, dignified man standing at the podium and behind him Joe Biden, sleeping. And next to him John Boehner, snoring. And arrayed before the president the members, napping. No one's really listening to the president now. He has been for five years a nonstop windup talk machine. Most of it has been facile, bland, the same rounded words and rounded sentiments, the same soft accusations and excuses. I see him enjoying the sound of his voice as the network newsman leans forward eagerly, intently, nodding at the...

The guest list for President Obama’s upcoming State of the Union address just got more interesting. Yesterday, Sean Hannity said he’d be attending as a guest of Rep. Louie Gohmert. Hannity is a conservative pundit for Fox News. He’s had Gohmert, an outspoken critic of Obama, on his show a number of times. The Tyler Republican has even filled in hosting Hannity’s show on a few occasions. Turns out, Hannity may have his own political ambitions in the Lone Star state. “The answer is yes, I’d think about it,” Hannity said when a viewer asked via Twitter about his inclination...
