A 13-year-old Texas girl has died after slipping into a coma following a fight with two teens who jumped her as she walked home from school — including one assailant who kicked her in the head, the girl's mother said. A man attacked a Metrobus driver with a weapon and hijacked his bus Tuesday morning, D.C. police said. The bus then struck a pedestrian, who later died. It's not clear where the bus was taken from, but police say the bus in now stopped at a gas station in the 4300 block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast Washington. (CNN)Arson fires have been set at half a dozen St. Louis-area churches in recent days. Authorities want to know who did it and why. In each case, the fires were set at an exterior door and when no one was at the facility, according to a joint statement from the St. Louis Police and Fire Departments and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. "We believe that this fire-setting activity is meant to send a message," the statement said. It didn't specify what the message was.

Two of the teenagers have been taken into custody, but a 12-year-old boy still remains wanted. The 12-year-old has been identified as Jarrell Milton.
