Variety reports that the “8 p.m.-11 p.m. portion of ABC’s telecast averaged an 18.9 household rating and 32 share in Nielsen’s metered market overnight ratings … That’s down about 16% from the 22.5/37 rating generated by the 2017 Oscars.” According to Deadline, the “18.9 appears to be an all-time low for the Oscars, below the previous low ratings point for the Oscars, logged with the 2008 telecast (21.9).” The ratings will be...

RUSH: I told you yesterday it was gonna happen. I told you, I made a big deal about it too. I didn’t say it quietly. I didn’t whisper it. I didn’t say it so that it wouldn’t be noticed. I shouted it and I proclaimed it out there, and now it’s happening. “Companies Cutting Ties With NRA See Their Public Opinion Plunge.” I predicted this yesterday. These companies overreact to the Drive-By Media and these fake boycott campaigns ginned up by the left that are largely driven by bots and not real people, and they fall for it because they...

The liberal campaign against the NRA has successfully pressured some companies to sever their partnerships with the gun rights group but it’s having another, unintended effect: galvanizing conservatives who feel the NRA has been unfairly attacked. Liberal activist groups turned the NRA into a scapegoat for the Florida school shooting that left 17 people dead and immediately launched a pressure campaign meant to weaken the NRA, which touts itself as the nation’s longest-standing civil rights organization. Liberals have threatened boycott campaigns against companies like FedEx, for having discount partnerships with NRA members. On that front, the activists have had some...

I have subscribed to NFL Sunday Ticket since 1995 and have cancelled my renewal for 2018. I haven't actually used it like I used to for the past few years. God put on my heart that football was an idol in my life. Being in Alaska the games come early and in the past I would skip morning services to watch games, and go to evening services only. I haven't done that for 5 years, I dvr the game(s) of interest and watch them at my leisure. Stopped watching all together mid-season of 2017 and just didn't miss it. It...

I suppose this was inevitable because it’s 2018 and everything has to be terrible. It looks as if the Philadelphia Eagles playbook has been expanded to include more than screen passes and flea flickers.Step 1: Win Super Bowl for first time in franchise history. Step 2: Watch as fans set fire to city, loot department stores and tear down street lights. Step 3: Turn victory into political statement so some players can be part of the #RESIST movement.Time Magazine reports that a number of players didn’t waste any time on celebrating or planning for the next season before they...
