Parliament has been hit by a cyber attack that has left MPs unable to access their emails if not in Westminster. MPs were alerted to the hack on Friday night and have reported problems getting into their email accounts on Saturday. The attack comes just days after reports that passwords of ministers were being flogged online after hacking groups managed to gain access. The parliamentary authorities are working with the National Cyber Security Centre to protect the network and ascertain the scale of the damage.

LONDON (AP) — London police, already stretched by a series of major incidents around the capital, are putting more officers on the street to reassure the public after a driver plowed into a crowd of people leaving a mosque early Monday. One man died at the scene and 10 people were injured. Police say a suspect was arrested immediately after the attack, which is being treated as a terrorist incident. "Extra officers are on duty in the area to help reassure the local community," Police Commissioner Cressida Dick said. "They will be there for as long as they are needed....

London Fire Brigade Commissioner Dany Cotton today said they are not expecting to find any survivors after a fire tore through the tower block as harrowing first pictures from inside the gutted building emerged. A local councillor has now told Sky News’ Adam Boulton that emergency services fear more than 100 people perished in the blaze which started just before 1am on Wednesday. One of the saddest aspects of Britain's election disaster was the horrible performance of UKIP, the party formerly led by Nigel Farage (and during the campaign by Paul Nuttall who has since resigned). The recent terror attacks in London have affected Muslims in the same manner as all other citizens of the city and terrorists do not discriminate between Muslims and non-Muslims in their attacks. Donald Trump has told Theresa May in a phone call he does not want to go ahead with a state visit to Britain until the British public supports him coming. The US president said he did not want to come if there were large-scale protests and his remarks in effect put the visit on hold for some time. The call was made in recent weeks, according to a Downing Street adviser who was in the room. The statement surprised May, according to those present. The process behind combat testing an RAF plane has been revealed in a new book written by former pilots. Incredible images taken at RAF Waddington, RAF Donna Nook and RAF Coningsby, all in Lincolnshire, show the test flights of various jets and weapons over the past 30 years.
