God Bless and thank you for the scriptures of inspiration.

I have finally reached the stage with all my ailments to where I am unable to go to church any more. I was able to go to church only six times in the last year. The doctors at the VA try but are unable to determine the cause of the many things wrong with me.

When I read your post tears of joy filled my eyes and my heart filled with gladness.

Thank you for obeying God and sharing his wonderful word that gives so many of us hope. I would also like to thank Mr.Robinson for allowing folks to post their beliefs and the Word of God on his forum.

I pray that you and all on this forum have a Blessed and safe day.

“What do you call a faith that claims Jesus and Satan are brothers?”

I call them anything but a God fearing Christian. They are deceived in my opinion and God will deal with them on judgment day.

“I meant no offense. I was simply offering a perspective, but must have missed the mark. I hope you will accept my apology”

No offense was taken from your post montesquiue and no need for an apology. After I posted my reply to you I read and thought, “darn that reads like I might be mad.” After we hit the post button we can’t change a thing. I’m just glad you gave me an opportunity to clarify things.

When we reply to one another we can’t physically see one another or hear their voice. We see only words and sometimes it seems we are angry when we are not.

Again I thank you for given me a chance to explain things.

God bless and protect you and your family montesquiue.

“The age old question is posed once more. Why suffering? Why death... disease... hunger?”

I can’t articulate my thoughts as well as the majority of folks here at freerepublic. If I could the title of this thread should have been - God hears the cry of innocents.

I don’t go around asking God why this and why that. My heart aches for the murder of the innocent lives being destroyed every day. I don’t even know why I have such a burden for the babies being aborted every day.

You see, I want to do more than just pray. My dream is to help those who don’t want their child to find a family who will adopt the baby. I would love to be able to work with a group of people who would build a home for unwed mothers. I say this at a time when my wife has lost her job due to a heart attack and my health is bad. I would still give all that I could to see my dream come true. My wife and I already help several families and we are maxed out financially.

I hope you all will try understand that this is just something that is heavy on my heart.

I fear God and wonder how I will be judged by him and if I have done all I can do to end the practice of murder in our nation.

I fear that we (now I said, “we”) as a nation with millions of Christians have put abortion on the back burner. We are faced with one crisis after another and now we have a president who is not a citizen of the United States.

I believe we are seeing the beginning of God’s judgment on our nation and that is why we are losing our nation to the socialist.

Like LifeComesFirst said, abortion is “bigger than the economy, bigger than the war on terror, bigger than human trafficking.”

If we fail to elect people who will speak out against abortion and do all they can to end it, the blood of those precious children will be on our hands. We need someone to lead us in the fight against abortion.

I have watched videos on youtube where people are arrested for holding signs condemning abortion. One man stood on the back of his truck with a sigh and was threatened with arrest if he didn’t put the signs away.

It won’t be easy standing up for the unborn, so we have got to find the right people to help us. We must act and we must act now.

Please pray for someone to lead us in the fight for the unborn.

The pledge of an Obama worshiper ...

    I am a grateful slave.
My master is a good man.
He gives me food, shelter, work and other things.
All he requires in return is that I obey him.
I am told he has the power to control my life.
    I look up to him,
and wish that I were so powerful.

My master must understand the world better than I,
because he was chosen by many others
    for his respected position.
    I sometimes complain,
but fear I cannot live without his help.
    He is a good man.

My master protects my money from theft,
before and after he takes half of it.
    Before taking his half,
he says only he can protect my money.
After taking it, he says it is still mine.
    When he spends my money,
he says I own the things he has bought.
I don’t understand this, but I believe him.
    He is a good man.

I need my master for protection,
    because others would hurt me.
Or they would take my money
    and use it for themselves.
My master is better than them:
When he takes my money, I still own it.
The things he buys are mine.
    I cannot sell them,
or decide how they are used,
    but they are mine.
    My master tells me so,
    and I believe him.
    He is a good man.

My master provides free education for my children.
He teaches them to respect and obey him
and all future masters they will have.
    He says they are being taught well;
learning things they will need to know in the future.
    I believe him.
    He is a good man.

My master cares about other masters,
    who don’t have good slaves.
He makes me contribute to their support.
I don’t understand why slaves must work
    for more than one master,
but my master says it is necessary.
    I believe him.
    He is a good man.

Other slaves ask my master for some of my money.
Since he is good to them as he is to me, he agrees.
    This means he must take more of my money;
but he says this is good for me.
I ask my master why it would not be better
to let each of us keep our own money.
He says it is because he knows
what is best for each of us.
    We believe him.
    He is a good man.

    My master tells me:
    Evil masters in other places are not as good as he;
they threaten our comfortable lifestyle and peace.
    So, he sends my children
to fight the slaves of evil masters.
    I mourn their deaths,
but my master says it is necessary.
He gives me medals for their sacrifice,
    and I believe him.
    He is a good man.

Good masters sometimes have to kill evil masters,
    and their slaves.
    This is necessary to preserve our way of life;
to show others that our version of slavery is best.
    I asked my master:
    “Why do the evil masters’ slaves have to be killed;
    along with their evil master?”
He said: “Because they carry out his evil deeds.”
    “Besides, they could never learn our system;
they have been indoctrinated to believe
that only their master is good.”
My master knows what is best.
He protects me and my children.
    He is a good man.

My master lets me vote for a new master,
    every few years.
I cannot vote to have no master,
but he generously lets me choose
between two candidates he has selected.
I eagerly wait until election day,
since voting allows me to forget that I am a slave.
Until then, my current master tells me what to do.
    I accept this.
    It has always been so,
and I would not change tradition.
My master is a good man.

    At the last election,
about half the slaves were allowed to vote.
The other half either broke rules set by the master,
or were not thought by him to be fit.
    Those who break the rules
should know better than to disobey!
Those not considered fit should gratefully accept
the master chosen for them by others.
It is right, because we have always done it this way.
My master is a good man.

    There were two candidates.
One received a majority of the vote -
about one-fourth of the slave population.
I asked why the new master
can rule over all the slaves,
if he only received votes from one-fourth of them?
    My master said:
“Because some wise masters long ago
    did it that way.”
    “Besides, you are the slaves;
    and we are the masters.”
I did not understand his answer, but I believed him.
My master knows what is best for me.
    He is a good man.

    Some slaves have evil masters.
They take more than half of their slaves’ money
and are chosen by only one-tenth,
rather than one-fourth, of their slaves.
My master says they are different from him.
    I believe him.
    He is a good man.

I asked if I could ever become a master,
    instead of a slave.
My master said, “Yes, anything is possible.”
“But first you must pledge allegiance
    to your present master,
and promise not to abandon the system
    that made you a slave.”
I am encouraged by this possibility.
My master is a good man.

He tells me slaves are the real masters,
because they can vote for their masters.
I do not understand this, but I believe him.
    He is a good man;
who lives for no other purpose
than to make his slaves happy.

I asked if I could be neither a master nor a slave.
My master said, “No, you must be one or the other.”
    “There are no other choices.”
    I believe him.
    He knows best.
    He is a good man.

I asked my master how our system is different,
    from those with evil masters.
    He said:
“In our system, masters work for the slaves.”
No longer confused, I am beginning to accept his logic.
    Now I see it!
Slaves are in control of their masters,
because they can choose new masters every few years.
When the masters appear to control the slaves
    in between elections,
it is all a grand delusion!
In reality, they are carrying out the slaves’ desires.
For if this were not so,
they would not have been chosen in the last election.
How clear it is to me now!
I shall never doubt the system again.
My master is a good man.

Fascism is a word used to hide the sins of socialism and the word really clues people in on the senator’s ideology.

The word socialism doesn’t scare the average joe, but fascism does. It conjures up memories of hitler and the days of the atrocities he and his army committed. That is why I say fascist instead of socialist.

Therefore I believe we are a socialist nation now thanks to senators like McCain who voted against our will and one day soon our own government will be kicking our doors in and asking for our papers.

We are losing our freedom by the death of a thousand cuts, so to speak. One day at a time and one law at a time and the shredding of the Constitution one piece at a time.

One we started on the path to fascism by electing the lesser of two evils, we started losing a government that represents the people and got a g government in business for themselves.

I also believe the hand of God is in this movement because Christians have moved away from trusting God and now trust man to fix all their problems along with the many other sins of our nation such as abortion.

Please for give all mistakes. I typed real fast with two fat fingers and just received word from my wife that she is in the emergency room. She is a nurse and was already on the job when she began having heart trouble.

For those who do not hate me because I do not Like McCain, please pray for my wife.

I agree with you. McCain is not a socialist. He seems to be moving toward being a totalitarian nationalist and corporatist ideology.

His vote for the bailout against the will of the people makes it easier for me to call him a fascist.

    From Factcheck.org:
    Q. —Did President Bush call the Constitution a “goddamned piece of paper?”
Is it true that President Bush called the Constitution a “goddamned piece of paper?” He has never denied it, and it appears that there were several witnesses.
A: Extremely unlikely. The Web site that reported those words has a history of quoting phony sources and retracting bogus stories. The report that Bush “screamed” those words at Republican congressional leaders in November 2005 is unsubstantiated, to put it charitably. We judge that the odds that the report is accurate hover near zero. It comes from Capitol Hill Blue, a Web site that has a history of relying on phony sources, retracting stories and apologizing to its readers.

Then why didn’t our president sue them for slander? I will never believe that he just doesn’t give a darn about what people say. This is too serious to just let go and he puts up a very good fight when he has to.

I’m not a troublemaker and I know people can say things in the heat of an argument they really don’t mean. He could have come out and said that he was angry when he said that and I would have believed him.

I guess that I am worried because of the unconstitutional bailouts with our money and other things like open borders. Our country is falling apart and most seem to think all is well and it is not. How many more giant corporations will our congress and president bailout before we see the dollar so worthless that we slide into a deep depression that would take years to recover from.

And while I’m asking- whatever happened to personal responsibility we throw at the liberals all the time? Is it only bad when liberals fail and they start to suck the government teat? We come off sounding two faced when its our turn for the teat.

Please forgive all errors. Tried to answer as quick as I could .

    “By what Constitutional authority?”

I know this will anger everyone but our illustrious president said, and I quote- “Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,” Bush screamed back. “It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”

He is not the only Republican who thinks like that. And if everyone would be honest they would admit to the fact that our leaders started shredding our Constitution a long time ago.

It is only a matter of time before we see the damage done to our Constitution by both the “R’s” and the slimy “D’s.”

We know the Dem’s hate the Constitution, but to hear a Republican president say such words should strike fear in every one of us who have served our nation and love our Constitution with all our heart.
