This was too funny; an animated Thomas Jefferson makes the case that Social Security violates the Constitution of the United States and operates like a ponzi scheme. Here it is - Why We Should Abolish Social Security

Myth 1: An electronic medical record could save your life in an emergency Posted on June 29, 2009 by admin Information technology does not stop bleeding, start IVs, defibrillate the heart, or put in a breathing tube. In an emergency, those are the things that save your life. If you need them, the doctor does not have time to look at your EMR.In an emergency, the doctor needs to know your blood sugar NOW, not what it was 6 months ago. Ditto for your chest xray. If the test needs to be done STAT, the old results are probably irrelevant,...
  • U.S. Medicine Resembles a “Vampire Economy”

    12/17/2012 5:13:02 PM PST · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 5 replies
The United States is forfeiting a half century of leadership in medical care and medical research and development, writes orthopaedic surgeon Lee Hieb, M.D., in an article in the winter issue of the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons. “We are rapidly throwing it all away as we spiral ever downward into a “vampire economy”—an economy so overtaxed and overregulated that it is sucking the lifeblood out of its productive citizens, she writes. Hieb undertakes a diagnostic examination of the medical economy, and features the following findings: There are 140,000 pages of regulations pertaining to Medicare, compared with a “mere”...
  • Defining the Enemy in Afghanistan

    08/16/2012 8:14:28 PM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 7 replies
In my opinion, the reason the war in Afghanistan has dragged on for over a decade without a clear resolution in sight could be attributed to the fundamental failure of our leadership to identify the enemy, which can be defined in a single word - Islam. I remember repeated instances whereby both Bush & Blair would repeatedly issue proclamations about how this is a religion of “peace” without a shred of tangible evidence from it’s teachings, history, or real world examples. It comes as no surprise that the architect of the so-called “Arab Spring,” Barack Hussein Obama, would declare this...
  • What is Conservative Position Health Care & Education?

    04/04/2012 7:52:56 PM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 18 replies
What is the conservative position on health care? Or education? We can all agree that Obamacare and the individual mandate are unconstitutional, but it seems less clear when you address other aspects. Is EMTALA and the unfunded mandate forcing hospitals to treat anyone regardless of their ability to pay constitutional? Should a hospital be forced to give 80 illegal aliens around $2 million worth of dialysis? What should our position on Medicare and Medicaid be when no one other than Ron Paul would suggest attempting to undo them entirely? Medicare is costing half a trillion each year and Medicaid is...
  • Debating Healthcare

    03/31/2012 9:12:47 AM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 12 replies
When debating health care I think the left is relentlessly pursuing government intervention until ultimately it controls all aspects, but those of us opposed to socializing it fail in the sense that we don't comprehensively define our position or instead actively rally to restore a free market. What we need is to look at the cumulative effect of the HMO Act of 73 of the government creating HMOs, EMTALA forcing hospitals to treat anyone that walks into an emergency room, massive entitlements like Medicare and Medicaid, and other programs like SCHIP on health care..there seems to be a hole here....
  • Media blackout on Obama eligibility near-total

pollsters they are not convinced Barack Obama’s birth certificate is authentic – and even though the first official U.S. law enforcement investigation into the matter established “probable cause” that the document released with great fanfare by the White House last April is a computer-generated forgery – a virtual media blackout remains in effect on the most controversial story of the Obama presidency.
  • Mitt Romney’s Fully Documented Liberal Left- Wing Social and Fiscal Record

This is for everyone to read and understand, of course, but I hope value voters in both Michigan and Arizona read, understand, and share this article. I find it absurd that so many celebrity“conservatives” and “pro-family” and “pro-life” Christians continue to promote Romney as a Reagan Conservative when Romney’s  record  shows that he is an across the board iberal. Barack Obama in a Reagan Costume. Mitt Romney, Fiscal and Social Liberal: Unilaterally, illegally & unconstitutionally nstituted same-sex “marriage” falsely claiming the “court ordered him to.”  Proof   here  and  here• Signed the forerunner to Obamacare(Romneycare) into law which includes $50...
  • Drop Out Mitt Romney

    03/26/2012 10:57:00 AM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 113 replies · 58+ views
I will not vote for Mitt Romney under any circumstance in November. The fact that he is the frontrunner is a disgrace and those that endorse him, those delegates that vote for him, and the establishment have my full contempt. He is the John Kerry of the Republican Party. His record is very liberal on virtually every issue. He is a shameless opportuntist..the etch sketch will reset for the general election. If you support the second amendment, marriage, pro-life cause, etc., how can you justify voting for Mitt Romney? He's treating republicans, or at least conservatives, like idiots while his...
  • Phony Outrage Over Treyvon Martin

    03/25/2012 12:45:25 PM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 29 replies · 10+ views
Quite frankly, I'm tired of the phony outrage. I remember on March 4th about a 13 year old boy being followed home from school and set on fire on his porch..that's a real hate crime, but that doesn't attract walk outs, national outcry, or discussions about race because this teen was white and his attackers were black. That's a clear hate crime unlike the story about Treyvon Martin. I can't even tell you his name..his mother was quoted..Melissa Coon.
  • Corruption: Obama & Media Lie About Gas Prices

    03/25/2012 10:38:52 AM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 3 replies
Enough is enough! Do a 'google' search on Obama & gas prices and you'll see a slew of articles from Reuters, AP, ane other news media that universally claim fault with republicans while holding Obama blameless. They are shamelessly promoting and aiding Obama's PR campaign to distort the truth. For one, there's no secret that Democrats have opposed drilling oil domestically whether it is offshore, ANWR, etc. Al Gore called for $5.00 a gallon over a decade ago, Chu called for $8.00, and the left openly calls for extremely high energy prices to FORCE us to quit using fossil fuels....
  • Obama's Citizenship

    03/21/2012 7:30:25 PM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 177 replies · 3+ views
Could someone explain the issue of Obama's birth certificate? I've seen Sheriff Joe present findings that it is a forgery along with the selective service card. Then I recall Ann Coulter claiming "her paper," human events has debunked the "birther" nonsense, but I don't really bother reading her columns any longer preferring not to be insulted by "three cheers for Romneycare." I mean, is there really credible evidence that Obama is not a U.S. citizen because that would be huge..
  • Wind & Solar Are Scams

    03/17/2012 5:29:10 PM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 50 replies
How does Obama get away with fostering "renewable energy" as a valid alternative to oil or natural gas? Wind "power" is horribly inefficient, it would take a wind farm the size of the state of Connecticut to power New York City and that even requires steady, constant winds. That leads you to the complete unreliability as an energy source outside of Sim City. Add to that the expensive costs and that's with the government mandating the market buy it and subsidizing it. As for solar, again you have another inefficient source of energy - 1,000 cubic feet of natural gas...
  • Why Is There No Conservative News Network?

    03/17/2012 1:42:22 PM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 83 replies
Why isn't there a dedicated conservative news network on television that covers stories the liberal media won't cover? There's definitely a market for it, in my opinion and who cares if the progressive imams start calling for jihad.
  • Rutgers Student Conviction of "Hate Crime"

    03/16/2012 10:19:54 AM PDT · by Advocatus Sancti Sepulchri · 57 replies
I just read a college student was convicted of a hate crime because his web cam caught the other student in his dorm room kissing another man one time and then the queer student killed himself by jumping off a bridge - can someone tell me if this is an invasion of privacy and what the hell sort of charge is "bias intimidation?" This sounds like a politically correct witch hunt for an unstable deviant.
  • Administration oil strategy contributes to price increases

    API ^ | March 13, 2012
WASHINGTON, March 13, 2012 – In remarks to reporters this afternoon, API’s Group Director for Upstream and Industry Operations Erik Milito said that administration policies were obstructing U.S. oil and natural gas development and contributing to today’s higher gasoline prices“ “Gasoline prices are higher today at least in part because government has neglected to pay sufficient attention to the importance of producing more of our own oil and natural gas. Adding supplies to markets is critical to keeping downward pressure on prices. And government policy has prevented and continues to prevent that. “The administration says its policies have supported more...

Hello, I'd like briefly introduce myself my giving a few of my positions on a couple topics. Goverment: well beyond the confines of the Constitution, abusively intrusive, steeped in corruption, and generally statist in most enterprises. Taxation: excessively burdensome in order to fund massive bureaucracy (including foreign regimes and the U.N.), punitive toward productivity, absurdly complex, and generally unjust. Foreign Relations: we should withdraw from the U.N., end foreign aid, recognize China as a rival, oppose Islamic hegemony, and abandon absurd notions of democratizing the Middle East (America was founded as a republic). Multiculturalism: a marxist program of disparaging Western...
