On March 20, there was an "anti-war" demonstration in Lafayette Square Park, across the street from the White House. AIM went there to see what sort of activity was occurring, and as we show in this video, which was all shot at the scene of the demonstration, it was a mix of 9/11 Truthers, Code Pinkers, socialists, anarchists, and a large contingency of pro-Hamas, anti-Israel zealots. The tea Party Express event in Harry Reid's hometown of Searchlight, NV attracted thousand of people but you wouldn't know that if you were watching CNN. MSNBC's Chris Matthews was on a roll yesterday while discussing the signing of the health care bill when he said the Washington Post "used to be a liberal paper" and that it was now "hard to read ideologically" as Post editorial writer Jonathan Capehart referred to the paper as "independent". Last November we noted that, through the Stupak amendment, the Catholic Bishops guaranteed passage of Obamacare through the House of Representatives. The Bishops put on a big show this time around, saying that they were opposed to the House passing the Senate health care bill without similar Stupak language. The mainstream media is all agog over claims by congressional Democrats that they were called names and spat upon as they walked by Tea Party protesters yesterday on Capitol Hill. Yet as this video shows there appears to be no evidence that this did indeed occur calling into question the accuracy of the initial reports. Maybe there is some video footage corroborating the Democrats charges, but until it surfaces the mainstream press should make it clear to the public that this is only hearsay at best and reflects their own bias against the Tea Party movement.

A jail in Colorado has banned all newspapers for inmates except for USA Today over safety issues. From Fox31.com A county jail in Colorado doesn't allow inmates to read newspapers — except for USA Today. The Garfield County Jail bans newspapers because the commander says they make inmates unsafe.
