This guys numbers are erroneous. Whether intentional or not, there are actually still 944 delegates remaining in the upcoming states. So, more than enough to drag the race out into June. Cruz and Trump are both still in this thing.

Don't ever forget that Hatch is still an opportunist politician.

Don't settle for anything to the left of Scalia or Thomas.

I, for one, like Janice Rogers Brown. Libs would have a fit if W nominated the first black female to the SCOTUS. They would also have little, if any, political room to wiggle.

    God Bless, Swiftees!

Thank you for being willing to once again step into the fray. I pray the satisfaction of defeating evil, again, and the thanks and love of a grateful people will outweigh the treatment many of you endured on your return from VietNam.

America is a better place because of your sacrifices both then and now!

    God Bless!

If Kerry wants to challenge Ohio...bring it on! He has NO case there.

On the other hand, GWB could make an excellent case for challenging the Pennsylvania results.

    1. PA is larger than OH
    2. GWB lost PA by fewer votes than JFnK lost by in OH
    3. NY'ers were bussed into Philly
    4. Guns were flashed in Philly precincts to intimidate
    5. Votes were on machines before polls opened
    6. Power/Phones were cut to GOP headquarters in Pittsburgh
    7. Military ballots were not sent out timely
    8. Military disenfranchised b/c ballots won't get counted
    9. GOP poll workers were illegally removed from polls
    10. Calls to voters claiming their polling place was moved

Most of these same arguments can be made for Wisconsin (13,000 vote margin) and Michigan (141,000 vote margin).

Throw in the assorted DNC attempts to supress GOP votes by actions like:

    -Bomb scares in Arizona,
    -Tire slashings in Wisconsin,
-White powder scattered in NJ precincts,
-Absentee Ballots never REALLY sent by Democrat Election
    Commissioners in Florida
-NJ voters scammed by fake call from Stormin' Norman
-FL voters called and falsely told of precinct changes

It all spells, Democrat desperation and corruption! And they have the nerve to claim the GOP disenfranchises voters

They might not cooperate willingly, but its possible that the review process is a matter of public record, particularly at the District Attorney's Office. They may not have a choice!

One possible explanation for all the various "discharge dates" is that Kerry had those in positions of power to upgrade his discharge status over a period of time. Incrementalism is the Liberal's best friend. He likely would have had difficulty getting anyone to change his discharge status directly from "Dishonorable" to "Honorable", therefore he could have had his status upgraded over a period of years. Political cronies being asked for a seemingly meaningless favor would not hesitate to call in a favor for a powerful politician.

Another interesting revelation is that Clinton's Secretary of the Navy apparently backdated Kerry's official seperation date in order to pre-date his protest activities and arrest, which would have disqualified Kerry from elected office by virture of the Constitution.

Whoops, looks like I left out another important endorsement for John Kerry.

Fox News is reporting that the American Muslim Taskforce for Civil Rights and Elections (AMT) has issued an endorsement in support of Kerry. AMT represents several other Muslim groups, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations, American Muslim Alliance and the Islamic Society of North America.

I'm sure Kerry's thinking, "With friends like these, who needs enemies!"

    hehehehehe

And yesterday (10/18), Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, an avowed Anti-Semite, issued a statement urging American Muslims to vote for John Kerry. He said they should do so, "in the name of Islam." I guess those foreign leaders Kerry claimed to have the support of are finally surfacing. Somebody should put Kerry on suicide watch!
  • Draft

    10/18/2004 3:15:18 PM PDT · 9 of 10
    arnoldknox to mworkman

    Missed Opportunity!

Many Republicans have been disappointed by the GOP’s response to rumors claiming that President Bush will reinstate the draft in a second term. Michael Moore and his minions are touring college campuses and whipping young draft-aged students into a frenzy by telling them that only John Kerry can rescue them from an impending draft.

The GOP and the President have unequivocally denied that the Bush Administration will reinstate the draft. In the first debate, President Bush went to great lengths to explain why a draft will not be necessary, stating that advances in technology, re-positioning of our troops to more accurately meet the threats of a post 9/11 world, training of Iraq’s security forces to assume control of their own welfare and improved intelligence will ease the pressures on our current military personnel. Unfortunately, many Americans haven’t heard that message and probably wouldn’t believe it if they did.

The GOP has failed to take advantage of an enormous opportunity. Taking the issue a step further would expose John Kerry and the Democrats and force them to answer some hard questions. Consider the following points:

    1) In the first Presidential Debate, John Kerry said, “That’s why, in my plan, I add two active duty divisions to the United States Army, not for Iraq, but for our general demands across the globe.”

    2) In that same debate, Kerry went on to say, “I also intend to double the number of Special Forces so that we can do the job we need to do with respect fighting the terrorists around the world.”

    3) Kerry has also claimed that troop morale and re-enlistments are declining.

    4) The U.S. House of Representatives recently voted down a bill offered by leading Democrats that, if passed, would have called for the reinstatement of the draft.

    5) There is pending legislation in the Senate, which if passed, would be the first step toward reinstating the draft. The sponsors of the legislation are Democrats, not Republicans!

    6) To my knowledge, John Kerry has never unequivocally stated that he will not reinstate the draft, if elected.

The Kerry Plan, as outlined at http://www.johnkerry.com/ would require the addition of some 40,000-50,000 troops to our Active Duty Military. This at a time when Kerry indicates military re-enlistment levels are declining. Kerry’s own party has introduced legislation in both houses of Congress to reinstate the draft. The points outlined above beg the following questions:

    1) How will John Kerry accomplish these goals without a draft? How will he fill the vacancies created by the supposed exodus from the military, let alone add 50,000 troops, without a draft?

    2) Does the legislation proposed by Democrats in both houses of Congress not indict John Kerry and Democrats as the only candidate and party with the desire to reinstate the draft?

    3) Isn’t the rumor regarding Bush and the draft just a scare tactic being used by Democrats to mislead young voters?

    4) Isn’t this an attempt to divert attention from their own hidden agenda and their congressional record as it relates to the draft?

Democrats have succeeded in scaring many young people into believing that if George Bush is re-elected they will wind up in some Middle Eastern country fending off terrorists. Some might even call it misleading. All American’s deserve the truth! They need to know who represents the real threat as it relates to the draft. John Kerry is a risky bet for young people and America.

Thank you. God has been so faithful! He has carried us through the pain of losing our third child and blessed us with the birth of our fourth child...a girl named Hope Ashley (Hope from the Ashes). Hope doesn't replace our Jacob. She's yet another blessing from God, who cares for us beyond our abililty to comprehend.

In May 2002, my wife and I lost our son, Jacob Ryan, less than a week before his due date. In the state of Tennessee, Jacob Ryan could only be recognized as "terminated" (a term which implies he was aborted) or not recognized at all. You can imagine the added trauma this brings to a family grieving the loss of their full-term child. I intend to lobby some legislative acquaintances to see that this is changed in my state. Our prayers go out to any who have experienced this double tragedy.
