SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah couple and three of their children found dead in their home last month were likely poisoned, their bodies found together in a locked room with cups next to each of them, and empty bottles of methadone and nighttime cold medicine in a trash can. Police in Springville aren't saying who killed the family or whether one of the parents might have been involved. Toxicology results have not determined an exact cause of death, but search warrants obtained Wednesday say the family was likely poisoned.

(CNSNews.com) - "We're always looking at ways that we can better protect Americans," CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden told Fox News's Megyn Kelly on Tuesday. But that does not include banning travel to and from West Africa, where Ebola is epidemic, he said. Nor does it include more layers of protective clothing for health care workers. "You would go into a highly infectious patient's room without covering your head, with only wearing one pair of gloves and with your feet exposed, you would do that?" Kelly asked Frieden.

BAGHDAD – Militants with the Islamic State group on Monday claimed control of a key military training camp in Anbar province -- which Iraqi officials called a "tactical retreat" -- as a spate of deadly bombings shook Baghdad, hitting mostly Shiite neighborhoods and leaving at least 30 dead. Meanwhile, a source tells Fox News that ISIS fighters hold nearly 50 percent of the Syria border town of Kobani, which has been the focus of fierce fighting between ISIS and Kurdish forces, backed up by US-led coalition airstrikes. The fall of Kobani would be a major victory for the Islamic State,...

President Obama reportedly plans to do an end-run around Congress to forge an international climate change deal, effectively bypassing the Constitution's requirement to get the Senate's approval for a treaty. The New York Times reported that the agreement is slated to be signed at a United Nations meeting next year in Paris. However, because the U.S. Senate is unlikely to ratify any international climate treaty, Obama’s negotiators reportedly are working toward an alternative agreement – a “politically binding” deal that would serve in lieu of a bona-fide treaty.

Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- An independent autopsy into the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, provides "ample" evidence to support the arrest of the police officer who shot him, family attorney Daryl Parks said Monday at a news conference. Parks was particularly concerned about gunshots that medical examiners hired by the family indicate came from behind and above. "Why would he be shot in the very top of his head, a 6-foot-4 man?" Parks asked. "Makes no sense." The autopsy could support witnesses' suggestions that Brown was holding his hands up in the air, said Shawn Purcell, who assisted...
