So the rally was fabulous. One my friends and I went down and actually saw someone I knew in the crowd (I live in MD, she lives in VA). We ran into a nursing school student from Vanderbilt where I graduated.

Here is what has me furious. They have completely misrepresented the count. The counts are being reports at 60-70K (dc polic), though apparently the National Park Service reported 1.2 million (which sounds more like it, having been there in person).

The crowd went to the washington monument and there was no walking room on the capitol are (except for some the sidewalks which people were pilot enough to leave open).

If they marginalize the count, they can marginalize the movement. 1.2 million is a lot different than tens of thousands. How do we make the media tell the truth and prove it to them ? Does anyone know where the National Park service estimate can from or have any “official” document that has the park service estimate... maybe contact the UK paper.

the freedom works folks don’t appear to be fighting this... I guess they can’t after the bad announcment. It would certainly be possible to put up a website with the pictures showing the real turn out. Also, perhaps showing the pictures of the capitol during our rally and the pictures during the inauguration.

but we need that national park service official estimate. then perhaps we can all bombard hannity and greta before monday’s program and try to get them to report the true numbers...

However, do you know if the bill’s text says anything directly about when the audit is to be performed ? I am being challenged on the “bill says nothing about people entering your home or being forced to implement these energy efficieny ratings”...
they also are discarding anything reported on conversative websites. so the examiner will be discarded simply because it is viewed as conservative website.

so an actual reference to the bills’ text would be really helpful. both on the fact that they can enter your home and on the resale stuff.

NEED HELP PLEASE.

I sent the text of the bill off to the list serve in my neighborhood with some of the quotes from CNS NEWS. Of course all the liberals on the listserve are jumping on me claiming I am spewing right wing propaganda.

I have been challenged to point where in the bill it mandates that you must fix your house before you can sell it, the REEP program issues. I already quoted all the stuff about retrofitting to them, and I saw the interview Juan Williams did with Bill Burton. I can’t find this on-line, or any source they will accept.

Do you have a reference in the bill where it talks about having to fix stuff before you sell your home ?

I LOVE THIS IDEA.
My accountant once told me that my husband should quit (he wouldn’t hear of it).

Then he said we should get divorced on paper, it would save us a bundle. Did you know, that when you run the taxes both way in MD, and assume for young kids that you are going to pay 20K a year in child care, with a dual working family, each spouse making 100K/year, the second spouse, after taxes and child care - is working for 10K take home pay ?

Hey, how do I get on an email list to get a notice when you are going to do one in DC ?
I saw via some website that there was a protest at the NY Times Washington location...
I haven't attended a protest since the 2000 recount protest outside of the VP residence "get out of Cheney's house" but I definitely would have come to this one.
I am just livid at the NY Times.
ARe you going to do another DC protest ?

I live in Maryland, voted for Ehrlich, and feel extremely betrayed. I am also a Roman Catholic. This is absolutely outrageous.

I was going to pull the Ehrlich sticker off my car, but I think a better approach would be to put a big red X through it and leave it on.

I would like to find out if this judge is married and has kids, or has grandkids.

Then I would like to start a fund to buy the rapist a house NEXT DOOR to the judge's granddaughter.

Comments ? Any knowledge of the judges background ?
