LG&E and KU Energy LLC plans to move out of its Main Street office building, where it’s been for more than 30 years, according to Louisville Business First. The company, which is the primary provider of gas and electricity in Louisville, has plans to vacate its current headquarters on W. Main St., dubbed the LG&E Center. Natasha Collins, director of media relations with LG&E, said it will move to 820 W. Broadway, which currently operates as a business office for the company. The company took up 14 floors in the Main Street building, as well as a partially leased space...

I've tried several of my favorite sites and they are down right now, including Amazon. Freerepublic and facebook are up, however.

I just stepped outside to do some work, and I heard an enormously loud and enveloping "WHOOSH" with a slight low frequency hum that quickly subsided. It continued for about ten-15 minutes. It was so loud that my wife and I could not communicate without yelling at each other at 20 feet apart. It was clearly miles away. And the only thing I can think of is that in that exact direction, about ten miles away, is a large natural gas facility. Here it is: https://www.google.com/maps/@37.4138666,-85.3956611,855m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en&authuser=0 It literally sounded like a rocket taking off (but never leaving the ground). Anyone...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XZNt_RGmBk From the descriptio: Sky News host Rita Panahi says Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has gone “full blown nincompoop” for suggesting the use of the word “surge” when it comes to the crisis at the border is attempting to invoke a “militaristic frame". “They want to say ‘but what about the surge?’” she told her millions of Instagram followers. “First of all, just gut check, stop. Anyone who's using the term ‘surge’ around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame. “And that's a problem because this is not a surge, these are children and they are not insurgents and we...

This is a video documentary on Thomas Sowell that I highly recommend.

I was mentioning the size of Trump vs Biden crowds at another site and really got thrown for a loop. We all saw those videos of his events with mostly just the press present, but then one of the biden supporters presented all sorts of photos of huge Biden crowds, especially before the Rona thing. This caused me to do a search on Bing, Google, et al and I was shocked to see that yes, he did have fairly large crowds. I'm here for help. Am I missing something here, or falling prey to filtered results. I saw large crowds...

I don't believe there is a problem posting in its entirety, so here you go: The ten days of darkness We’ve read about this on the patriot boards for years. There have been many times where many, including myself, have thought we were in it. But all of us were wrong. Trump won the election. And then overnight, he had it stolen from him. We’ve had to watch the trolls dance on Trump’s metaphorical grave and celebrate the fall of America and the rise of socialism/communism. 4 days later, plenty of proof of cheating, and they announce Joe Biden as...

Watch this. He takes what a lot of us are saying and amplifies and adds dimensions. Basically, after listening to this guy I feel like Trump is Bobby Fisher and we are all kibitzing his chess game. He's got this. The link is a 30 minute interview. You don't have to watch much to see what I'm talking about.

So, I flew back from Idaho Falls to Cincinnati with a stop in Denver and enjoyed my first run in with lots of Karens in the airport and on the plane. At Denver, I never wore a mask and I was the ONLY person I saw not wearing one. It was amazing. On the plane, as we were being seated, I got harrassed by a couple for not wearing the "right" mask and was even turned in to the flight attendant, to whom I calmly showed my mask. The woman constantly looked back at me to see if I was...

These videos are absolutely hilarious! I just caught one on Facebook and found the source. So far I've watched all four. There is also a "monday night" version. I was laughing hysterically. The sound effects and WWF style play by play are awesome. Here are four: Episode one: https://banned.video/watch?id=5f5c242ddc50dc07a1f90520 Episode two: https://banned.video/watch?id=5f5c242ddc50dc07a1f90520 Episode three: https://banned.video/watch?id=5f652103dc50dc07a108708b Episode four: https://banned.video/watch?id=5f6e6aecd1e7550a1c00b9ed

I moved from Seattle to a "hobby farm" in rural Kentucky nine years ago. Two years ago, my daughter and her husband followed me here and bought a spectacular home east of Louisville for around $600k that would have cost millions in King county, WA. They were able to come here because his job allowed him to Work From Home (WFH) full time - and still earn Seattle wages. I've said for years that once technology allowed the concept of WFH to reach critical mass, we'd be seeing our cities drain into the burbs and rural areas of the nation....

Though this is a vanity, I have linked to the foundational source of my point. I REALLY like what the Trump is saying. I like his attitude, I lake his effectively destroying PC and his takedown of the MSM. I like seeing all the liberal and GOPe heads exploding. I especially like him running a screen for Cruz. But I would be very concerned about a Trump presidency. If you look at his stances in the past and some that are current and couple that with is personality, attitude and MO, and imagine him as the "strong man" in the...

It is every parent’s worst nightmare, and according to a report on Police State Daily and the Medical Kidnapping site; for one homeschooling family in Kentucky, it has come true. On May 6, Kentucky homesteading Naugler family had their ten children taken into the custody of the state and are now fighting to regain custody and to prove their innocence. According to the family’s facebook blog page, Blessed Little Homestead, and other sources above, the police showed up, asked to see the children, and when the mother asked to see a warrant and what the charges were, the sheriff proceeded...

May you live in interesting times – Chinese curse As a student of WWII, I was always amazed at how people could watch what happened to Poland (and to a lesser degree, Austria) and allow Germany to become a serious threat to the world. I now understand, because the same scenario is unfolding today as I pen these words, and little is being done about it, nor will it be until world powers reach a “now or never” point regarding their perception of the risk as they did, eventually, after the fall of Poland. But it takes a leader, conspicuously...

So, I was on this site a few weeks ago and a guy was complaining that they were “auto editing” bad words. The entire word would be replaced with asterisks. I posted and told him that you could always misspell the offending word and gave an example. I said you could spell the N word with three “g”s and their software would not touch it. But I didn’t say it that way. I actually posted the word to prove it. Keep in mind, I posted the word with no context. Just the word as an object, much as someone could...

New State Law Gets Tough on Illegal Speeders NEW ‘SUPER SPEEDER LAW’ STARTS NEW YEAR WITH NEW FINES (JANUARY 1, 2010) Georgia drivers should mark that date on their calendars and put a sticky note next to their keys.. January 1st, 2010. It’s the day the new state ‘Super Speeder Law’ goes into effect in Georgia. And any high-risk drivers who make a habit of ignoring posted speed limits will be the first to feel the pinch of higher state fines (called fees) on their wallets. How much higher? The new law titled HB160 tacks-on another two-hundred-dollar state-fee for any...

The first amendment of the constituion of the US: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Because the mandate is now a "tax", and you are forced to pay it if you are alive and breathing and don't pay for insurance, it becomes a tax on breathing. Since it is necessary to breathe to be alive, it is a tax on being...

I answered an ad in the Kentucky website used by my town for free classifieds. It listed my town in central KY as the location. The ad was for the truck described below for $3,000. But look at the response I got back below. Is it a twist on the Nigerian scam. Your thoughts? (some information redacted) -------------------------------- Hey, This is XXXXX. I received your email about my 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 4X4. The truck is in great shape. It was always garaged and never smoked in. It has minor scratches, normal for the age. No mechanical or electrical...
