Beck and others are telling you - TODAY at 7pm Senate is scheduled to vote. If passed, the misnamed Food Safety and Modernization Act would authorize the FDA to tell farmers how to grow their crops. Federal bureaucrats who likely know little to nothing about farming will set the guidelines on appropriate temperatures, what soil to use, how much water to use and what animals are allowed to be on certain fields. S. 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act, gives broad powers to the FDA to regulate small farms and gardens.

Several supporters of Chris Coons, the Delaware Democratic U.S. Senate candidate did it again. As you enter the Glasgow Medical Center on Glasgow Avenue in Bear, DE, Coons supporters started out by holding a peaceful protest. But, while leading doctors from across the state held a press conference with Christine O'Donnell, two Coons disrupted the press conference and were asked to leave. By way of disrupting the press conference which was held in a conference room inside the Glasgow Medical Center, the Coons supporters trespassed on that property since they were not seeking medical care.

According to Ron Williams in The News Journal, when Chris Coons served as the President of the County Council, he diverted untold millions of taxpayer dollars as payoffs to his political buddies and top staff. Coons did this by exploiting a loophole in the county’s pension program. The loophole was originally meant to attract new county police officers, but Coons decided to use it as a cash cow to pay off his political hacks.

Although some polls released for public consumption show Christine O’Donnell still having a bit of a hill to climb, internal polling in the Coons camp obviously paints a very different picture. With massive losses expected for the Marxist-democrat party next month, why else would Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Al Franken be going to tiny Delaware, which we have been told is such an easy win for Coons? We know the answer: PANIC!

Wilmington, Del. – Christine O’Donnell, Delaware’s Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate, appeared with veterans today to announce an innovative new plan to improve health care for veterans. At a press conference near the Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center in Wilmington, O’Donnell said, “I believe those who have fought for our country and defended our freedoms should have freedom over their own health care.” O’Donnell’s plan would allow veterans to receive check-ups and basic medical care from local doctors who have been certified by the VA.

Republican U.S. Senate candidate met with volunteers and other candidates on the GOP ticket at her new headquarters in North Wilmington Friday afternoon. The event was designed to show unity of Republican candidates, something the party struggled with immediately after O'Donnell's upset win over longtime Congressman Mike Castle. O'Donnell endorsed some of the other candidates on the ticket, including Glen Urquhart who is running for Castle's seat in the U.S. House, O'Donnell also wrote some checks to help those campaigns.

It is increasingly clear why. After looking into Coons' love affair with the Marxism-as-Christianity "liberation theology" and specifically his volunteering for the South African Council of Churches, the Coons Yale Divinity School interview surfaced. It is clear the "Bearded Marxist" article was not, as Coons and his liberal media friends have tried to portray it, any kind of a joke. After a serious look here at The American Spectator at the courses, assigned reading, and teachers of Yale Divinity School -- Coons clammed up. Suddenly Coons has gone silent on the entire topic.

The head of communications for Delaware's state Republican Party announced Friday morning that he is leaving the state.
