Dear Mr. and Mrs. T,
Just a note to thank you for all you do for all of us and a little prayer. You see, before I met you, Cindy-True-Supporter and the others, before I was blessed with standing up for our troops with you at Walter Reed and in Olney I never considered activism.... now thanks to your inspiration, I am teaching others to pray about what they can do to stand up for our troops and God’s values in our society and do it!!! I apologize for not being as active on FREE REPUBLIC of late. It is not because I care less but because I am taking what you have taught to the arena of www.facebook.com and encouraging others around the world to stand up and fight for what matters in their cultures! You are both awesome and amazing and you are dear to me!!!

Lord God, thank you for each and every FReeper. Thank you for Free Republic and the forum it provides for us to meet and support one another. Lord God, thank you for each and every person who faithfully gathers at Walter Reed and in Olney. Please bless each and every FReeper in a special way who stands for our troops at these FREEPs and others. Lord God, continue to protect them and provide for them. And Lord God, bless each of our troops and their beloved families - both those deployed, those at home, those who are wounded and especially the Gold Star families. We trust in You and know that in this fight for freedom, You will emerge victorious because our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual evil which comes against freedom. This evil is more powerful than we are as individuals, but YOU are Almighty and more powerful than all!!! God, help us all to do what needs to be done to be effective ambassadors for You, Your way in this world today. Help us to rejoice in the days and the good work You give us to do. I apologize for not being as active on FR these last few months. I have been busy building a presence on FACEBOOK to try to inform, equip and rally as many believers as possible to understand the times we are in and become not just prayer warriors, but activists as well standing up for God’s values to be restored in our culture. However, I have missed you all and felt very led to write out a prayer as HE led for our troops and their families for Christmas. Hoping you will pray with me in one accord! God bless you all!

Lord God, we are tired of this, but we never tire of You!!!! Lord God, the only way through this one-more-time infection situation is to put our trust in You. You alone are God. You alone the Holy one. Lord God, continue to give the physicians Your wisdom and Jim and his family Your strength and perseverance. And now Lord God, send Your Spirit to do the work. We are DONE with this infection, which keeps festering. In Jesus’ name, be healed Jim. No more! All of us who are praying stand in the authority Jesus gave us by the power of His blood shed on the cross and His name and say NO MORE! In Jesus’ name, infection be gone! Lord God, more of Your Spirit poured out upon Jim, more, more, more. You are the only One with healing power. By You Jim is healed. We stand on it and wait in joyful expectation for word of his improvement. We thank you, Father, Son and HOly Spirit. We bow to You, rest in You, rejoice in You. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Lord God, we thank you for this family. We thank you for their sacrifice in service of us all. Lord God, be with this family and keep them together even as they are apart. Protect their relationship with one another through good days and bad. Lord God, be his dwelling place and refuge according to Your promises, keeping him safe in all circumstances. Be hers too and keep worry far from her mind and heart. Show them both Your will for each day and by Your Spirit help them to walk in it. We can do nothing besides trust in You, bow to You, adore You, seek Your will and obey for You alone are God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, we do not receive this diagnose for Fiamma. We trust in You. You do the work, which You have ordained since before time began. We ask for physical healing Lord God. Complete healing. In Jesus’ name - Fiamma be healed.

Lord God the enemy has no power when we bow and worship You. So....You know the circumstances. We bow and worship You. You are the only King of kings. You are the only Lord of lords. You are the only One with the power. We adore You. We give our lives to You for Your purposes and we exclaim the mighty perfection that You are and that Your plan is. We pray Your hand of comfort upon this family while You do Your work. We ask You to manifest Your presence in their midst. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Lord God, You are the Holy One, only You are the Lord. You are the one true God and we worship You alone. We bow to You, knowing that all things are in Your hands and there is no power which is superior to You because You are above all things and in all things. You promise to use all things for Your purposes, but how hard this is for us sometimes! You tell us that in order to inherit the Kingdom that we must become as children. Lord God, Your ways are so much higher than ours - indeed we are like children in our understanding and we certainly do not understand this cancer in Fiamma....This makes no sense to us!!! Now we know You promise to use all things for good in light of eternity, but You also promise us that as Your children we can call on the power of Your Name (representing all that You are), that we can stand in Your authority and Your power will accompany us. Lord God, this morning we stand in this authority and we say - cancer be gone! Fiamma, be healed! In Jesus’ name, may the operating room be cleared of any power which is not God’s. May the doctors’ hands be steadied. May You give them Your wisdom, Your insight when they conduct this operation. May what they find and how the healing comes be a testimony to YOU, that all may see and know that YOU are the Healer, You are the Lord. In Jesus’ name, we pray this cancer NEVER return. That it never touch her again while she is in her physical body. Lord God, you have ordained Fiamma for mighty purposes for Your kingdom. By YOUR power, enable her physical life to continue that she might accomplish all that for which You created her - for YOUR glory. We wait in joyful expectation for word of what You have done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord God, TBM has been bold for Your purposes wherever You have called him to stand. He has been a defender of freedom and a defender of truth, stood for our troops and protected those who have stood for our troops. Lord God, hear ALL the prayers of those here on FreeRepublic, do the work and bring TBM out of the hospital and home. You are not done with him yet. He has more work to do for You. Lord God, we know You hear us, but like Elijah on the mountain we won’t stop praying until You hear our prayer and bring TBM back to health. We trust in You, we trust in Your timing, but we pray for You to act swiftly. Lord God, give the doctors great wisdom, but You do the work. Give TBM courage and perseverance and patience with the process. Speak to him while he is lying there about Your plans for his future and give him an increased knowledge of You and how You work, that he might do even more for our country and Your Kingdom upon his release. Let him know that even in the hospital his life has purpose as long as he is reflecting You and Your principals to those around him. We wait on You, Lord. We trust in You. Do the work. In Jesus’ name, Amen

In Jesus name, I stand in agreement with sister Mary’s prayer and the prayers of all the others on this thread. This voice is to give glory to God and NOTHING will stop it. In Jesus’ name we proclaim HIS victory over this bondage and proclaim healing by the power of the blood shed for us. You are KING! We wait in joyful expectation for word of how she has come through the surgery and how she progresses through healing. We thank you Father. We thank you, Son. We thank you, HOly Spirit for loving us soooo much. In the authority of Jesus by the power of His name, Amen.

Wish I could be there. For now, a prayer for tonight:

Lord God, You are King and Lord. You reign Supreme over all our circumstances. We adore You. Bow before You and seek Your will alone for our lives.

You came to set the captives free. Your ultimate objective is always restoration of all who will come back to You. You created each of us with free will, to live in dignity and the freedom to have choices in how we live our lives. You purposed this nation to be founded on Your principles. You have blessed us in response and made us to stand up to oppression of all kinds to help set other captives free.

Lord God, we are not perfect as a nation or a people. Not all who fight the wars set before us fight with the right motives. But we know that freedom is not free and has never been free and where oppression seeks to overtake ground, a stand must be made and sometimes this requires military action. Lord God, we believe that the fight fought by our troops today must be fought. They fight there so the battle does not come here. Lord God, You know this! Our troops need to fight to victory!

We thank you for each and every FReeper, each and every other patriot and patriot organization who stands behind our troops here at home so that they can fight the fight there.

This week Bev Perlson is back in D.C. standing for our troops. With her are many FReepers, GOE members and other patriots. We ask Your blessing on each and every one of them. Give them divine appointments and encounters which have as an effect an increase in the support our troops have from the public and the government. Give them the strength to stand and the words to say. Cause the public, i.e., tourists to be drawn to them and take the idea of supporting our troops back to their respective communities. By Your grace, by Your power, cause what they do these three days to have a greater effect than can be seen. Bless each of those who stands up financially so they can continue to stand up for our troops.

We also ask your blessing on the Action in front of Code Pink headquarters tonight. Lord God, again cause there to be visibility by those who will spread the message to get behind our troops (or in front of them). Let those who support our troops continue to operate with dignity and decorum which honors You and sets them apart from others who protest with hate and childish actions.

We trust that You will enable these actions to run perfectly according to Your plan. And especially when it feels we are like Joshua and his army walking around Jericho with seemingly no effect, we choose to trust in You that at the proper moment, in response to our obedience, You will bring the walls of the structure down which sets itself up against You and our troops and the principles for which they stand, so that it can be rebuilt on the right foundation.

Thank you again for each and every FReeper, each and every other patriot. Do bless them richly with joy, inner peace, confidence in You, health, provision ,protection and safe passage to and from actions. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Please forgive me if there has been another update since #275, as I just read the ping from last night (#271). (Spirit thank you for pinging me.)

Let’s pray:
Lord God, we thank you for the entire family of Brad’s Gramma and how they have put their lives in Your hands for Your purposes. Lord God, You ordain the times and seasons. You ordain every day of our earthly lives until we are to return to You in heaven for all eternity. We thank you for Gramma’s dad. We thank You for the honesty with which he has spoken. Now we pray You be his encouragement for him in this hour - Your Way. You know that You have purpose for each one of us every day ofour lives - no matter our physical condition. You know how mightily You can use even the invalid to shine Your light into the dark places where You sometimes lead them to go. You know how important and valuable our prayers, which can be uttered so long as we are in our right mind. Give Gramma’s dad a vision of how You can use him even now. Let him know that whenever he is courteous - even joyous - with the medical providers, he is fulfilling his God-given purpose - to be Your ambassador on earth. We ask You to comfort him, to heal him Your way, in Your timing, but most of all we ask You to speak to his heart the grand purpose he still serves for Your kingdom here on earth in so many ways as long as You choose to leave him here. Please let him not under estimate the blessing he is to his family and all around him (in Your Name). Pour out the balm of Your Spirit upon him, that joy in the day would bubble up and out of him once again. We put our trust in You. You will not disappoint. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Prayer for Independence Day 2008
Lord God, today the United States of America celebrates Independence Day. There will be barbecues and get-togethers, parades, pancake breakfasts, fireworks and patriotic songs. Media will wax nostalgic over our heritage and yet how many will remember that freedom is not free – it has never been free. It must be fought for and won.

Lord God, You gained the ultimate victory for us that we might have freedom from death and live reunited with You in eternity. Here as in so many instances since, the battle was not against flesh and blood but against the principalities and powers in the heavenly places which have effect on our natural world.

As we celebrate Independence Day we choose to remember those who have gone before in previous generations: first those who fought for our independence (fighting for many years AFTER the declaration was signed to make sure that the independence so boldly declared was indeed secured) and those who have fought to preserve that same freedom and secure it for others. We thank You, Lord God, for each and every one of these brave souls, for their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their families.

We also thank You for each and every member of our military today as well as for their families. Lord God bless them in ways which reveal that it is You who touches them and no other. Bring them comfort. Relieve their anxieties. Be their protection and provision. Where there is injury, where there has been a death, be the balm which eventually brings healing to body, mind and spirit of the wounded soldier and body, mind and spirit of family members left behind. Lord God, give them a shoulder to cry on, a word of encouragement spoken to their hearts for the future, and the will and strength to persevere until that which is hoped for has come to pass.

As we celebrate today in peace here at home because they fight in the sandbox over there, draw them closer to You, that they may each learn to hear Your voice, know which way they are to go and follow in it – this for increased safety and increased progress in the war.

As a gift for our nation’s birthday, we ask that by the power of Your Holy Spirit at work in this world, You would hand over the leaders of these terrorist groups – including Osama Bin Laden – into our military’s hands. We ask that by our worship and prayers, You would hover over the cities and every acre of land in Iraq and Afghanistan and provide protection for the local citizens who have bravely sought to serve in leadership positions. Give our military leaders time to spend with You and ears to hear Your strategy for this war. Give the leaders of these newly free nations ears to hear Your strategy for their countries and the tools and trustworthy people to implement the plans.

Lord God, You promise if we will worship You, You will draw close, inhabit our praise and accompany us. So we worship. We adore. We want Your plan for our military. We want Your protection, Your provision, Your comfort. We trust in You and bow before You again today. Speak to us. We are listening. Show us the way to go and we will walk in it. Each of us separate parts of one Body with Jesus Christ as Head. Show us each the work You have for us today to encourage our troops and support our nation. Give us the vision so that we will each stand up and embrace the work You have for us today – for Your Kingdom, for Your glory, that Your Light may shine brighter and brighter in the darkness and we may enjoy the fruit of Your promises for those who out of a love born of faith, choose to obey You and walk in Your will.
