Incredible costume!

Please help. I am trying to wire am A/C motor to 115v and I don't understand the wiring diagram. It shows 1,3 and 8 (1-3-8) connected, 4 (-4) wire standalone and 2, J and 5 (-2-J-5) connectd. My "text" drawing didn't work so I hope this makes sense. Does the black (hot) connect to 1,3 and 8 wires of the motor and the white to 4 and green to 2,J and 5? This is a Baldor Ind 115/230 .5 hp motor. Thanks in advance!

I am a parent of a 6th grader who wants to take photographs of kids playing indoor basketball and volleyball. I am looking for a camera which will take indoor shots with good white balance and freeze action for these sports. I do not want to go to a DSLR with humongous lens. I do not need professional quality, but also don't want blurry snapshots. I haven't found any point and shoot cameras which will do this; can anyone recommend something perhaps between that and a DSLR? I made the mistake of letting my NRA membership expire. Now I'm hounded several times a week to reup. Because of there late night calling several times a week I will not reup.
