  • Pretty Funny Site About McCain

    06/19/2008 10:41:37 PM PDT · by jcsmonogram · 119 replies · 122+ views
Many conservatives aren’t happy that John McCain is the Republican nominee. Many of these people may be planning to vote third party to “send a message” to the Republicans. Others might decide to “sit this one out,” rather than vote for someone like McCain. Both of these are bone-headed ideas to the extreme! This site has been created to help conservatives get over themselves and do the right thing. And the right thing is to hold your nose and vote for John McCain to become the 45th President of the United States.
  • Legal question about Terri Schiavo

    Personal question | 03/27/05 | Jeffrey Smith
I have a question for you regarding Terri Schiavo. I understand that Judge Greer is apparently able to enforce the removal of the feeding tube at Michael Schiavo's request. I'm assuming that he cites the feeding tube as "medical treatment." But how can she legally be denied ice chips on her lips or water in her mouth? This isn't "medical treatment." She swallows her own saliva, perhaps she could swallow water in small quantities. I don't know if there's anything here that can help legally, but it's just something my wife and I thought of that didn't make sense to...

GALLUP NEWS SERVICE PRINCETON, NJ -- Some 145 years after the publication of Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species, controversy about the validity and implications of his theory still rages. Darwin personally encountered much resistance after his book was published in 1859. Seventy-nine years ago, the famous Scopes Monkey Trial in Tennessee brought the issue of exactly where human beings came from into sharp public focus in the United States. Indeed, as recently as this month, a court case in Cobb County, Ga., dealing with the treatment of evolution and creationism in school textbooks received nationwide publicity. November's National Geographic...

A couple of weeks ago, I set up my TiVo to record the first Presidential Debate on Fox News Channel. I also scheduled it to record “The O’Reilly Factor” and “Hannity & Colmes” on either side of the debate in order to get some pre- and post-debate analysis. About 10 minutes before the debate was to start, my wife called me on my cell phone and said that TiVo was preparing to record the debate on CBS. “Why would you want to watch the debate on CBS,” she asked. “I don’t,” I replied. “I set it up to record on...

Earlier this month, the Drudge Report revealed that the official 'Kerry For President' website was riddled with obscenities. A top campaign spokeman offered the outrageous explanation that a "virus" had caused the profanity to be peppered over hundreds of pages. But it was quite interesting that the "virus" just happened to sprinkle the offenses into the website's content in a grammatically-correct way. The campaign stated that the website would be cleaned up, and the offending words were replaced with asterisks. Now, a Google search of Democrats.org, the official website of the Democratic National Committee reveals that Kerry's site is not...

If the Freeper community can think of a better idea, please let me know. This will be a substantial sum of money, based on early sales. JeffGOPportal.comadmin@gopportal.com

  • Elementary Schools Sued for Unlawful Gay Presentations

    03/06/2002 6:28:38 AM PST · by jcsmonogram · 14 replies · 132+ views
The Pacific Justice Institute recently filed a lawsuit, on behalf of parents, against the Novato Unified School District for authorizing pro-homosexual presentations without any prior notice or consent. The presentations, entitled "Cootie Shots", exposed elementary school children, as young as 7-years-old, with skits containing gay and lesbian overtures. The presentations were followed by question and answer sessions about what constitutes "normal" families and acceptance of those who choose the homosexual lifestyle. After the assemblies took place, some of the concerned parents went to the schools to inquire why the school district had not complied with their explicit opt out request ...

(Los Angeles) - On the day of one of the most hotly-contested primaries in history, Republicans are being told to stand in line in order to exercise their right to vote. This is because many precincts have more voting booths set up for Democrats than for Republicans. Sometimes up to four times as many! "This is outrageous," said one voter outside the precinct. "There were four completely empty Democratic booths and I had to stand in line for over 15 minutes for the single Republican booth. If I'd had to wait any longer, I would have had to leave without ...

Over the years, many conservatives have abandoned the Republican ranks for the Libertarian Party. While some think the GOP is not conservative enough, we at GOPportal thought our readers might enjoy a peak into the mind of the average Libertarian running for office in California. With the front pages dominated by Enron, it is nice to see an altogether different story about another Texas energy company. George Mitchell, 82, last week sold the company he started from scratch more than 50 years ago, Mitchell Energy, for $1.3 billion. What an American success story. George Mitchell’s father was a goat herder in Greece before immigrating to America and settling in Galveston, Texas. His son George worked his way through Texas A&M and after a stint with the Army and Amoco, struck out on his own. He hit pay dirt in 1952 when he purchased what appeared ...
