I am so sorry I just read this. I pray that all is well - but I will continue in silent prayer until we receive an update.

God is with him - as the children belong to God - and one does NOT mess with a Child of God.

Keep the faith- it will turn out.

Father God, there is so much sickness around us. If satan cannot attack through relationships or finances, he takes our health. For some of us he takes it all.

Father, please heal this sister in Christ. She may have lived a long life - but I feel as though You are not through with her yet. Give her the strength she needs, and lift her faily up as they atempt to help her through.

You are the Great Physician. You are the only One who can do this.

Bind this tumor and remove it's curse from her body - In Jesus's name - I beg You.

Jesus said what ever we ask in His name, He will do , for it will bring Glory to You, Father. I am claiming Your word and the promise of Jesus - that she will be healed to continue her life with her family - serving You.

In Jesus Name - all these things I ask. Amen.

AMEN!!!! The Power of Prayer is stronger than ANYTHING on this earth.God hears all of our cries, and does answer.

I Praise God when I pray and ask for things - because I have the Faith that He will do what is best for me. It is such a pity that so many do not know how simple it is.

Faith - that greatest thing I have discovered in this lifetime - other than Christ Himself!

I am not niave. I know there are truly many people like this man in this world.

What is so ironic - His comment 'if there is a God he gave them Free Will' - how can you believe in Free Will without believing there is a God? Free Will is definetly a Christian term - and if he does not believe, funny he should qoute something that has no meaning to him.

I truly feel sorry for this man and all who stand with him - as one day he will be judged, and his Free Will to deny God all these years will be revoked.

Further, one thing No One can do is stop people from praying. Yes, people do turn to God in times of crisis - now if they will only start turning to Him in good times as well - then the Glory will come back to this society.

We cannot handle things ourselves - contolling things on our own has caused these problems in the first place. When God is taken out of schools, government and society - it is then that satan runs rampant and things fall to the ground.

Has there not been enough devastation since 9/11 and before for people to see that turning away from God is the problem - not leaning on Him more?

Protest away, Citizen Group Against Prayer - one day you will find yourself in an hour of need - and guess who will be there for you - even though you do not deserve it? Remember, the harder you push Him away - the harder the Christians in this world push to bring Him more and more into the world's view.

Congratulations for bringing His name to the attention of some who may not know Him, but will choose to open their hearts to Him! What a great witness you have been !JK

Sounds like my father who grew up in the generation of - "If it is on the 6 o'clock news - it has to be true.." That from my step-father.

My biological father saw Fahrenheit 911 , told me I should see it and said " If it wasn't true, they would not have let him make the movie."

Dear Heavenly Father, I lift Kathi Goertzen up to you this very second, as I know she is preparing for another traumatic moment in her life.

It is not easy dealing with illness, but things of this nature are so unsure and so baffling to doctors today.

You, we know, are The One True Physician, who can heal in the blink of an eye.

I pray that You will have mercy on her and her family, and allow this evil which has invaded her body to be totally irradicated.

Father, Jesus said anything we ask in His name will be done, for it will bring Glory to You - I am claiming Your word this morning, and rebuking this tumor in the Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour - Your only Son, who can work miracles and move mountains.

I pray, Father, Kathy will feel Your arms around her, and she will know Your comfort. I pray this situation will be worked out in Your time, according to Your will.

Kathy has been given a chance to change thousands of lives. Her life has already been a blessing - as sharing her situation with so many will cause a chain reaction - bringing many closer to You, and some to You for the first time.

I pray Father, she will be blessed because of this,and be given a second chance at life, to raise her family, and to continue to sow seeds of hope and love to the world.

We never know what life may bring - I never thought I would be where I am now- but I know all bad things are turned into good through Your Mighty Hand, and I beg You - allow this woman to feel the sunshine on her face, through the tears, through the rain, and to walk in love and hope with You.

All of this I ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.

To Colin: We do not know why things happen in this crazy world. Everyday - good people, children of God - are faced with trials and tribulation - as a pounding from satan. He is angered when God's Children become strong, so he throws things harder.

I have come to learn, it is always one step forward and two steps back, because of the sin and wickedness in this world.

Our food supply, air and water supply is all tainted from those of satan - not of God. Those of satan would have us believe that things are the way they are and cannot be changed. Those of satan have taunted me and asked "where is your god now?" - but my answer is always steadfast and true - "He is right here - carryinig me through every pain, trial and abuse that comes my way".

God does not cause things to happen. It is the sin of this world that causes us pain.

God is the relief and the comfort and the band-aid that comes to cover our wounds and comfort us.

The affliction brought upon you is not of God, but if you allow Him, He will use this as a lesson for many around you. You can strengthen, support, and let your light shine through all of this - giving Glory to the Father for what He will do, and is doing.

My step-mother had brain cancer, and passed in 1997. I worked for a team of Neurosurgeons then, and began alot of research in this area. There are things the earthly world can do - and this is not your last stand - although you will have days when you feel as though it is.

Strengthen yourself in The Lord, and give this affliction and your life to Him. He will work ALL out for the good and His Glory.

Dear Heavenly Father, you know the situation Colin is in. You know what his body needs, and You God, are the One True Physician we all need so badly.

I give Colin to You, Father, laying Him at Your Feet - and I ask with all I have and all that I am that You will heal Him, ease his worries, and kept him safely in Your arms.

Above all, Father, I ask that Your Will be done, and that Colin's life will be used to bring Glory to You, that others will see through his trials and pain that he stands strong in You, never wavering.

So many times, Lord, I have forgotten that You have me, and that all of the things I go through can easily be remedied by simply giving it to You, and laying it down. Help Colin to understand this - help him not to make the mistakes I do - to never forget You are there - waiting with open arms, to love and comfort him.

Please Father, ease his mind, heal him, and above all, carry him through whatever You see coming his way.

I claim Your Word - that anything asked in the Name of The Son shall be done for it will bring Glory to You. So In Jesus' Precious Name, I beg these things, Amen.

Prime Choice, thank you for allowing us to pray for Colin, and I pray for you to - what a wonderful friend and sister in Christ you are to bring him here to us and especially to God to be lifted up. Stay strong, read your bible - concentrate on the New Testament and the promises Jesus made for us all. Trust me - it works - as God is infallible, and the Word NEVER lies to us.

For you I also pray God's loving arms around you, so that you may be a pillar of strength for Colin.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you tonight with sorrow in my heart

for the evil going on

in this country.

As FReepers - WE know the TRUTH,

and we KNOW YOU are in control,

even though the media and the rest of the world

would have us to think other wise.

You are an Awesome God, and through my trials,

I am learning more and more each day how

Powerful Prayer is.

It is my Prayer tonight that You will step in

with Your Mighty Hand,

and stop this event from taking place.

I pray You foil their plans, make things difficult at every turn,

and position Your Children where You would have them be,

so that this country You set in place does not fall further.

Father, You know my heart, You know my situation.

My prayers to You and emails and letters to get this to the public

is all I can do at the moment,

but I will do what it takes,

 

In Your Name,

and For Your Glory.

May we arise victorious in Your Name!

This week  - today, actually , will be the last communication from me for a while.

I have been forced into a position I do not like, ]

and have had to make choices I

never wanted to make again.

 

But - that's life.

The only thing we can count on is Change.

 

The sun will rise again another day, babies will be born,

people will pass on,

and taxes will still have to be paid.

 

My farewell to you all - Canteeners and Soldiers

I hold so dear -

is one of Allegiance and Love.

 

 I may be gone for a long while,

But my heart will always be here - with the ones I have come to love so much,

 

And above all -

Know my support for the Troops and our President will not waver.

In a world ravaged by sin and destruction - where evil wins out daily over good - the hope of a baby from such a horrible situation is something we cling to.

Now that the hope is gone from this world, and Our Father has called them both Home, I pray the father and child left behind can pick up the pieces and find comfort.

It makes no sense to me how this world turns - good people always suffering, while evil ones get away with anything. But - God has the final say.

As Christians, we must seek each day to lift each other up, help a brother or sister in need, and do our best to treat others as Jesus would.

May God use the lives of these two for His glory, bringing someone closer to Him, and Praise You, God, that You have them both safely tucked away together.
