Thought this was timely given the circumstances we find ourselves in today. Paul Harvey was way ahead of his time in his prediction of where our Society would end up. Hope I Posted this correctly. I'm not savvy on starting Discussion Threads here. Not a Vanity type of guy.

A light rain fell on New Orleans on October 15, 1890, as Police Chief David Hennessy left the central police station with his colleague and friend Capt. William O’Connor just after 11 p.m. The young chief turned toward Basin Street, heading for the home he shared with his widowed mother. O’Connor went in the opposite direction, up Girod Street. Hennessy rarely walked home alone; for the past three years, he had done so in the company of bodyguards. That night he was alone.

Over the past few days I sent my esteemed state Senator Barbara Boxer a series of Emails pointing out my many disagreements with her hateful, rude, and overbearing "questioning" of Secretary of State nominee Condelizza Rice. I pointed out the many inconsistencies of information used by the Senator in her comments and sent along a copy of the 2002 Iraqi War Resolution so that she and her staff would have an accurate source document available to them when the whole Senate debated the nomination. THIS is her response to me.

After reading the opinion pages of my local newspaper, the Orange County Register, I sent the following letter to the editor. Hopefully, it will get published. I've heard that the final absentee vote tally in Wisconsin might give President Bush a win in that state. Anybody have any factual information to share? If President Bush did in fact win Wisconsin, wouldn't it mean that he would have won without Ohio? Curious minds need to know. Thanks...
