I used HamTestOnline.com to study. It worked well for me. Passed the Tech and General in 2021 and the Extra exam in 2023. Have contacted 100 countries via phone with 100 watts and a wire antenna from Michigan. Great retirement hobby, but can be expensive if you want a “big” station.
Having spent way too many years reading code, I am not the best person to evaluate your writing. A man has got to know his limitations... Good luck with the novel, Laz.
Mid Boomer here. Bought 4 wooded acres in 1986, cleared the lot with my FIL. Had a 1400 sq ft ranch with full basement built by a local builder in 1987. Fast talked the bank into a 15 yr mortgage. Paid it off early, added an addition and other improvements over many years and all paid for. Sold an acre to our daughter and she built her house next to us in 2020. Not going anywhere, this is what we worked hard for.
The Cozy Mark IV is a 4-seat, single engine, homebuilt light aircraft designed by Nat Puffer, with parts and plans supplied by Aircraft Spruce & Specialty Co. The aircraft is built from plans using basic raw materials. It is not a kit aircraft, though many small parts are available prefabricated.
I had an English teacher in Jr High who would only allow a half page of hand written material to be submitted for stories. He would have given you an A+. Nice work, Laz.
I worked at Micky D’s for 2 whole days flipping burgers during college. Could not get rid of the grease smell. Left to be a janitor at a department store cleaning bathrooms and the beauty salon. Much happier.
In 1986 we moved into a rental house while our new home was being built. I was working IT from home and did not know that the rental was on a party line. Every time I got my modem connected someone would pick up the party line and drop my call. Had to set up an office in the in-laws basement.
