This was an absolute joke tonight. They act all serious and concerned. They were dragged kicking and screaming to this, and we all know if he had gotten the nomination, they would still be covering for him.

This is my Second week of working a night job to supplement my day job income.I am 47 years old, and have been self-employed for many years, and have been away from the world of warehouse/assembly line type work, and I went through a Temp agency to get hired. It is a retail receiving and distribution center. It is so interesting to see the people who show up. the vast majority are Hispanic, or blacks. I was going to say African-American, but several of these guys are from various islands around the world :) In 10 days, I have seen approx....

  • CNN Is Just Brutal

Fellow Freepers, it's been a long time since I watched CNN. I've read your reports, and I knew it was bad, but I stopped by my parents house this evening, and happened to see a bit.It was the most disgusting display of DNC propganda that I have ever seen.First, Carville is on with Blitzed and J.C. Watts. Blitzed is hanging on every word spewed out by serpent head. Then it's a story on the Evangelicals leaving because of the "shamed preacher" in Colorado. Then there is a story about a "Republican" who is blaming Rumsfeld's bad advice on the Iraq problem. Guess...
  • One Day in September

I am watching a documentary on IFC called One Day in September. It is about the Munich terrorist incident at the Olympics. As I watch the incompetence of the Germans, and the frustration of the Israelis, I find myself imagining what the Freepers would've said about such a monumentally botched operation. It is sad to watch it, and it is even sadder that to this day so many would appease these people and sell Israel out with no shame.

I stopped by my dad's tonight, and the CBS eveing news was on. I saw it all, and hadn't watched any MSM in ages.Even though I am a long time freeper, and I am familiar with the MSM agenda, I have to admit it was shocking to watch this tripe. Here was the news:Israel is killing babies, Bush isn't pursuing a cease fire fast enough, and they showed a clip of Chuck Hagel bitching about it as the news idiot acted like this was big news coming from a "member of the presidents party"The heat wave is caused by global warming,...

We had a case in the last two weeks of a lady who was running a dog training program within a state prison. This lady somehow apparently fell for prisoner who was a convicted murderer, and she aided in his escape, and they were captured last night. What would motivate a woman to risk everything for a guy like this?

Just watching a C-Span repeat of Condi testifying to the senate committee on Wednesday. She wiped the floor with Boxer and Kerry, bitch slapped that little weinie Chaffee, and actually had an intelligence conversation with Norm Coleman. Bill Nelson acts like he's hammered!! Talks like Barry Switzer.
  • How do you find a service company?

    02/13/2006 1:46:41 PM PST · by lawnguy · 23 replies · 263+ views
As you can see by my username, I'm in the service industry. I was recently talking to lady who owns a cleaning business, and we were wondering about how people choose a business to hire. Do the Yellow Pages motivate you to call? Do you read the coupons in the mail? I have tracked my companies estimates for years, and most originate in the Yellow Pages, followed by personal referrals. Among those, the personal referrals have a much higher closing rate.Would be interested in your thoughts on this subject.

  • Question about British Parlimentary Proceedings

    02/15/2005 2:28:22 PM PST · by lawnguy · 8 replies · 197+ views
I've been watching the British Parliment on C-SPAN, and have a few questions: What is that notebook that Tony Blair is reading when he jumps up to answer a question during the question/answer proceedings?Does the Prime Minister have a list of the questions to be asked, so he can be prepared to answer? Why does the PM jump up so quickly. Is this supposed to be a body language thing that shows confidence? Can someone recommend a good book that details the proceedings of that system, and do all the Parlimentary systems include that type of question and answer process? Thanks for your...

Saw John Stossel's report on 20/20 tonight. He went into some detail about cheating in colleges, including rich kids who pay for others to do their work. Do you guys see this, and what the heck can you do to stop it? Would like to see a good discussion of this.
