United Parcel Service is terminating the accounts of gun dealers across the country. Any packages currently in the UPS system may be “seized and destroyed.” In a letter sent to one Florida gun dealer, Ghost Firearms, UPS said they were terminating the account because they “may be violating” laws concerning homemade firearm parts.

Hypo, real name Lamar Jackson, was attacked in front of a "large number of people" at the bash in Redbridge, east London, police said. In a huge win for gun-rights groups, a federal appeals court in Chicago on Tuesday tossed the state’s ban on carrying concealed weapons and gave Illinois’ Legislature 180 days to craft a law legalizing concealed carry. “The debate is over. Federal agents today discovered a cache of weapons they suspect were stolen from the Harvey Police Department’s gun range, officials said. Cook County's top Republican lost his day job for putting a $10,000 bounty on Mayor Daley's head. Gary Skoien, chairman of the county's Republican Party, was fired Thursday as chief operating officer with real estate development company the Prime Group Inc., where he has worked in various capacities for nearly 15 years. The company's top man, Mike Reschke, said he canned Skoien because the GOP chairman "crossed the line"......

On Saturday Oct 2nd Rush Limbaugh made a rare public appearance in Chicago to help celebrate WLS-AM's 80th Anniversary. Rush was the "opening act" and did a 30 minute live talk/speech pretty much summing up that the old media is dead and that we political activists on the conservative side are the new leaders of the media with our ability to communicate instantaneously over the Internet. LOS ANGELES (AP) - Russ Meyer, who helped spawn the "skin flick" with such films as "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" and "Vixen," has died. He was 82. Meyer died Saturday at his home in the Hollywood Hills, according to his company, RM Films International Inc. Spokeswoman Janice Cowart said Meyer had suffered from dementia and died of complications of pneumonia. Meyer's films were considered pornographic in their time but are less shocking by today's standards, with their focus on violence and large-busted women but little graphic sex.
