By John RileyNewsdayKhalfan K. Mohamed trained in Afghanistan with Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida. When he went home to Tanzania and received orders to help grind TNT to bomb the U.S. Embassy there, he did his duty. And when he was caught in Cape Town, South Africa, he talked freely to the FBI about the plot.He hated the United States because it backed Israel, he told FBI agent Abigail Perkins, and because it had troops in the Islamic holy land of Saudi Arabia. He felt it was his Islamic duty to kill Americans.Although the bomb at the embassy had killed only ...

Prosecutor says FBI made cops derail brothel inquiry Tuesday, April 3, 2001 By LESLIE KOREN, SHANNON D. HARRINGTON, and PAULO LIMA Staff Writers Bergen County Prosecutor William H. Schmidt on Monday accused federal authorities of forcing Lodi police to trump up charges against a woman who complained of prostitution at an alleged brothel. An FBI agent prepared the false complaint against Millie Nevin, 24, of Montvale and presented it to Lodi police to execute "with the advice and consent" of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Newark, Schmidt alleged. "A woman was arrested for telling the truth," he said, noting that ...

I have computer security installed which I think is at least moderately efficient in blocking attempts to enter my computer while I'm online.I get lots of pings, and the system I have identifies the source of the attempted intrusions with the numeric address of the last computer the attempt was routed through.Anybody know how to use that numeric addy to identify the site which has attempted the intrusion? Please assume I don't know anything -- you won't be far off the mark.

    1. Jurisidictions between these federal agencies overlap. You can have multiple agencies running multiple informants in the same organizations. None of the agencies know about the other agencies' informants. I ran into that problem, only finding out by accident that I had a citizen volunteer (not a paid informant) who was actually spying on another agency's front. The other agency had apprehended and "turned" the leader of a certain operation, and my guy had been spying on that operation. The Aryan Brotherhood in Idaho had 5 leaders. Three were BATF and one was FBI. Only one was a legitimate Nazi. ...

Trent Lott United States Senate 487 Senate Russell Office Building Washington, DC 205102403 Dear Sen. Lott: The attached report contains conclusive proof that the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was not caused solely by the truck bomb. Evidence shows that the massive destruction was primarily the result of four demolition charges placed at critical structural points at the third floor level. Weapons Experience: I do not offer such an analytical conclusion lightly. I have spent 25 years ...

As it became clear to the President and the world that there would not be an immediate resolution of the EP-3 incident nor an expeditious return of the 24 U.S. military personnel, he was presented an opportunity. With a single statement he could have sent a message to the American people, the government of the PRC, and to the world, which would have shown that he and the U.S. would not be bested in the war of words by the PRC leadership. The President's message to the American people:"My fellow Americans, we are confronted with a difficult situation in which the ...

Honorable George Bush Vice President United States of America Washington, D.C. Sir: Why does it seem that you are saying "YES" to illegal narcotics in America? I turned over video tapes to your NSC staff assistant, Tom Harvey, January 1987, wherein General KHUN SA, overlord of Asia's "Golden Triangle", offered to stop 900 tons of heroin/opium from entering the free world in 1987. Harvey told me, "...there is no interest here in doing that." General Khun Sa also offered to identify U.S. Government officials who, he says, have been trafficking in heroin for more than 20 years. November 1986, Scott ...

I think we all agree that in an insular society, the unanimous grant by all sane adults of a given authority to a governing entity would be legitimate; governmental exercise of that authority would be the communal expression of the individuals' right to delegate agency in the exercise thereof. But what is appropriate when there is not unanimity? Does its absence preclude the legitimate exercise of governmental authority? If not, how broad must be the agreement by the citizens in the delegation of that authority to make the exercise thereof legitimate? Is a simple majority enough? 60%? 2/3? 3/4? 90%? ...

This article was posted here recently, but is worth another look now that Ali Mohammed has entered a guilty plea and allegedly supplied prosecutors with additional information linking Osama bin Laden to the embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania. Link ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kenneth Timmerman wrote an article for the November 1997 issue of the American Spectator entitled “ Al Gore’s Arab Moneyman.” Timmerman reported that Al Gore had been promoting the nomination of Edward Gabriel to become U.S. Ambassador to Morroco. The article claimed Gabriel raised money for Arab “charities” connected by PLO Chairman, Yasser Arafat, to the military wing of ...

A recurring argument pervades this forum regarding the existence of a widespread conspiracy to undermine the national sovereignty of the United States in order to achieve One World Governance. Called by detractors "the tinfoil hat brigade" promoters of the theory often point to the Council on Foreign Relations as the U.S. seat of power in the conspiracy. Detractors assert that the CFR is merely an eco-political think tank with diverse, if "moderate" views. The point of the argument seems to be where citizens should focus their concerns regarding the current and future security and economic health of the U.S. The ...

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 30 1999 What's Next? It's not often that one gets a glimpse of the future. News stories from around the country in the past few days have given me a peek at the next wave of gun control proposals. What I see terrifies me! Tomorrow, Oct. 1, 1999, a new law goes into effect in my home state of Connecticut. Passed earlier this year, the law is a direct result of the March 1998 shooting at the Connecticut State Lottery Headquarters. The legislation's passage was given further impetus after Harris and Klebold went on their mad rampage ...

Are You A Liberal Or A Conservative ? Rush says that the dictionary definitions of "liberal" and "conservative" are not valid in today's environment. I agree... in a truly free country we should all be able to make up our own definitions anytime we choose. That way, when we use words, we can have complete confidence that they mean exactly what we want them to mean -- if listeners or readers of those words don't get it, it's THEIR problem.Just in case there a some of us who actually want to communicate with one another, I propose the following (let ...
