Pretty funny. Not to say that police brutality is ok, but there is certainly a lot citizens can do to avoid it.

Now That's Nifty has a cool explanation of the movie Inception. In short, Cobb never woke up, but his wife did. Hit the link for the full break down, and see if you agree. http://nowthatsnifty.blogspot.com/2010/07/explaining-plot-of-inception.html

Behold, a new way of cooking bacon. All you need is: bacon, tin foil, some string, your every day, common, household machinegun, and about 200 rounds of ammunition. You start by wrapping the barrel in tin foil. Then you wrap bacon around it, and tie it down with some string. You then wrap some more tin foil around it, and once again tie it down with string. It is now ready to be inserted into the cooking device. After just a few short bursts (Give it about 200-250 rounds. ) you should be able to smell the wonderful aroma of...

With all the recent news about injuries related to splintering maple baseball bats, do you think the MLB should ban them? Yes or no, and why? I'd be interetested to hear your thoughts.

From Notoriously Conservative: For years the government has taught us that any amount of the “American Dream” can be achieved with just a little help from the government. Watch what we do and duplicate it. Unfortunately the truth is that the “American Dream” has disappeared in a trace of entitlement mentality brought about by the government. After years and years of throwing money at each and every “crisis” that can only be fixed by more government interaction we have reached a point that for America to survive we must now face the fact that the bandage must be ripped off...

In my home state of Utah, a bill was recently shot down that proposed allowing private companies to advertise on the outside of school buses, just like they do city buses, with all proceeds going directly to public education. It was shot down even though the majority of Utahns support it. I say that as long as the ads are approved by the school district and won't have a negative impact on the kids, I'm all for it. I see nothing to lose, but a lot of money to gain. What are your thoughts on this?

A proposed Utah law that would open women who suffer a miscarriage to possible criminal prosecution and life imprisonment has enraged feminists and civil rights activists across the United States. Adopted overwhelmingly by both sides of the state legislature in Salt Lake City earlier this month, the draft bill is now awaiting the signature of the state's Republican Governor, Gary Herbert. It is not clear if the growing national controversy surrounding the proposed law will slow or even stay his pen. While the main thrust of the law is to enable prosecutors in the majority-Mormon state to pursue women...

These videos are awesome. The first is a classic clip from Johnny Carson. The second is from cowboy Baxter Black, talking about the country he loves.

Via Notoriously ConservativeBarack Obama met with the Queen of England. He asked her, "Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government? Are there any tips you can give to me?" "Well," said the Queen, "the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people." Obama frowned and then asked, "But how do I know the people around me are really intelligent?" The Queen took a sip of tea. "Oh, that's easy; you just ask them to answer an intelligent riddle." The Queen pushed a button on her intercom. "Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?" Tony...

Via Notoriously ConservativeI'm a little hesitant to shoot toys at an intruder only to have them return fire with adult bullets. I'll stick with my .45, I think. Lightfield has been selling these projectiles to law enforcement agencies and wildlife officials for years. Each round is filled with a soft projectile that resembles a koosh ball. They look like toys, because they're made by a Chinese toy factory. The best thing about them is that they aren't likely to kill someone even if they are fired at point blank range. They're so soft that they're almost incapable of penetrating the...

Via Notoriously Conservative:Wikipedia: Kalinin K-7 was a heavy experimental aircraft designed and tested in the Soviet Union in the early 1930s. K-7 was of unusual configuration with twin booms and large underwing pods housing fixed landing gear and machine gun turrets. K-7 first flew on 11 August 1933. Then on 21 November 1933 the aircraft crashed due to structural failure of one of the tail booms, killing 14 people aboard and one on the ground. Although two more prototypes were ordered in 1933, the project was canceled in 1935 before they could be completed. General characteristics Crew: minimum 11 Capacity:...

From Notoriously Conservative:To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah Night Before Last. I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend, threatening our lives. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message. First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment; I didn't expect you to actually crap in your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. The evening was not...
