Quakertown, PA 16April06...|| On Monday, April 17, Pennsylvania Minutemen will be kicking off their campaign designed to remind the American citizens in each of Arlen Specter's districts of his actions that are in opposition to our will.

The Senator's unconstitutional betrayal of the trust of American citizens is unacceptable, and we will take this opportunity to publicly denounce his support of illegal aliens, and we invite the public to join us.

Senator Specter's refusal to uphold and defend our Constitution is evidenced by his voting record on illegal immigration.

The Senate's refusal to acknowledge this massive, uncontrolled movement across our borders as an invasion is one more indication of our political leadership's unwillingness to act according to our Constitution as set forth in Article 4.

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

Senator Specter has repeatedly announced his support of the Amnesty/Guestworker program in direct opposition to the overwhelming public demand that there be no amnesty or guestworker program until all illegals are removed from our Country and our borders secured.

When House Bill 4437, the Sensenbrenner bill, is again discussed in Senate Committee hearings after the Congressional Recess, Specter has vowed to support illegal aliens in their quest to invade and conquer the United States.

While more than 15 million Americans are unemployed, Senator Specter has jumped on the illegal alien bandwagon instead of providing support to the Americans who put him in office. Statistics show that 73% of Americans want to put an end to our insecure borders and stop the illegal alien invasion.

Our Congressional Representatives do not represent the Will of The People, and it is our intention to expose them to their constituents, and vote the traitors out of office.

Two of the most shocking pictures of those times, imo, were traitor jane seated in an AA position looking for an American plane to shoot down and John Kerry leading a pack of alleged vietnam vets against the war in an anti-war march.

I think it was their coming out demonstration and it left me with a sick feeling that is renewed every time Kerry's name is heard.

Any pretense that something could have been done to stop this or shoot the planes down is completely that utterly unrelated to anything possible in the real world.

Just shut up and take it. And pretty soon everything will be ok.

911 COVERUP PANEL TAKES A DIVE

In an ignominious capitulation to the White House the leaders of the 9/11 Commission traded two and a half hours of testimony by Condoleeza Rice in public under oath in exchange for a written promise not to ask anymore White House persons to testify in public or under oath. It is not clear who this includes but no doubt comprises all cabinet level officials.

There are a number of questions which either have not been asked or to which answers have not been forthcoming or what answers have been provided are contradictory and confusing.

Rice is not likely to shed any light on the situation. Given her previous public pronouncements. She is either a not too accomplished liar, stupid, completely out of any loop on terrorist information or all of the above.

Defense Secretary Rumsfeld needs to be recalled to clear up the confusion about the scrambling of jets. Most researchers, including this one, had assumed the longstanding procedure for scrambling jets whenever air traffic control reported a suspected or actual hijacking or lost contact with a plane was still in place on 9/11. Conflicting timelines provided by the FAA, NORAD and DOD did not agree on when the FAA reported the hijackings or when the jets were actually scrambled (too late to have done any good even if they could have found and identified the hijacked planes).

This led researchers to reason that someone must have given an order not to follow the longstanding procedure. Thus the hunt began for the person who gave the order for the jets to “stand down.” In the June 2002 issue of Aviation Now, it was finally disclosed that the longstanding procedure was not in place on 9/11! It had been superseded by an instruction from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff issued on June 1, 2001. The new procedure called for the FAA administrator (at that time Jane Garvey), not air traffic control, to contact NORAD and request military assistance. NORAD then was to determine what resources (jets) were available and then contact the National Military Command Center (NMCC) which in turn would get the personal approval of the Secretary of Defense (Donald Rumsfeld) for authority to scramble the jets.

Rumsfeld says he was at his desk in the Pentagon and had no knowledge of any hijackings until the Pentagon was hit. (Did he have his phone off the hook?)

Finally Maj. Gen. Larry Arnold, commander of the Continental U.S. Norad Region (Conar), at Tyndall AFB, Fla. issued the order to scramble two jets from Otis Air Force Base saying he would get the required approval (from Rumsfeld) later. The jets arrived in the New York area after a hijacked plane hit the second tower.

Rumsfeld and others need to explain why such a cumbersome and time-consuming procedure, with all its built-in delays, was instituted. Especially since the knowledge was wide spread that Islamic terrorists had plans (including Project Bojinka) to hijack commercial jets and crash them into the Pentagon, WTC, Sears Tower and other targets.

In recent days, news reports have disclosed a number of warnings US intelligence received about hijacked commercial planes. This is what the spooks call a limited hangout. By the time these warnings are acknowledged officially (perhaps in the 9/11 commission report) they will be dismissed as “old news.” See this author’s June 18, 2002 archived article (available at the URL below), “Bojinka, The Dog That Didn’t Bark.”

Over the period of five years, from 1996 to 2001, the FBI made numerous inquiries about suspected bin Laden associates taking pilot training in at least four flight schools in Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Florida. The last inquiry took place at the Airman Flight School in Norman Oklahoma just three weeks before the Sept. 11 disaster.

The next scheduled public hearings that will focus on “failures in intelligence” and law enforcement will be April 13-14.

Scheduled witnesses include Attorney General John Ashcroft, former Attorney General Janet Reno, CIA Director George Tenet, FBI Director Robert Mueller and former FBI Director Louis Freeh If the White House allows them to testify in public and the right questions are asked (don’t count on either) we may learn something.

As for Condoleeza Rice, her performance tomorrow may determine how soon she resigns.

The 9/11 disaster did not result from an intelligence failure. It was caused by refusal of high government officials in both the Clinton and Bush administrations to act on the knowledge they had, for whatever reason

I remember reading just about the same story just before the invasion of Iraq. Except then it was the sheriff of Cochise county reporting it.

I'm sure that story is still here somewhere.

But today that policy is in shambles as one major Latin country after another has fallen to anti-American leaders who admire Fidel Castro. Behind the growing anti-U.S. atmosphere is a carefully planned and executed drive to turn South America into a Marxist stronghold challenging the U.S. and eliminating every shred of its influence there.

In 1995, Castro visited the United States to address the United Nations during its 50th anniversary celebration. It was a visit that was quite telling, as divergent groups came out to embrace him and sing his praises.

He was the honored guest at the Rockefeller family estate in New York. Yet, because of peaceful but serious protests, the honorific invitation had to be moved to the prestigious Pratt House, the headquarters for the Council of Foreign Relations, on East 68th Street in Manhattan.

At that confab, he was met by retired Chase Manhattan Bank Chairman David Rockefeller and a fawning audience of internationalists.

Later, Castro visited and was feted and warmly received by real estate developer and publishing magnate Mortimer Zuckerman and other media moguls and opinion molders such as Barbara Walters, Peter Jennings, Mike Wallace and scores of other media personalities. Castro called them "the cream of the crop" and in return got a big hug and kiss from Diane Sawyer, the most beautiful of them all.

And finally, during that visit, he was also honored at Harlem's Abyssinian Baptist Church. There, he was proudly surrounded by U.S. Reps. Nydia M. Velazquez, Charles Rangel and Jose Serrano - all New York Democrats and all members of the extreme left-wing House Progressive Caucus.

They are among the 58 U.S. representatives who belong to this group closely aligned to the Democratic Socialists of America, the U.S. affiliate of the Socialist Internationale, the proud heirs of the first Internationale in which Karl Marx participated over a century ago.

All the members of the Progressive Caucus are Democrats, except for Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who makes no pretenses and is a self-avowed socialist.

Interestingly, some of these leaders, particularly some of those who are also members of the Black Caucus, have blamed the CIA for pouring drugs into the streets of L.A. and other cities and killing black youth.

Yet they embrace Castro and his brother, Cuban Defense Minister Raul Castro, who has been implicated for using drugs as an instrument of war against the United States, as documented by Dr. Joseph Douglass in his book, "Red Cocaine."

In 1993, a federal court in Miami indicted Raul Castro for drug trafficking. Neither Attorney General Janet Reno nor the Black Caucus has asked for his extradition. In Harlem, Castro was cheered and applauded by the roaring crowd yelling, "Fidel, Fidel, Viva Cuba, Viva Cuba!" He was warmly bear-hugged by Rep. Rangel and told by the presiding church minister that he was one of the greatest leaders of the world and that they joined him in opposing the U.S. blockade. Then the noted cleric consecrated Castro: "God bless you," he said, although Castro is an atheist and Cuba officially is an atheist state where the faithful are persecuted.

To this topsy-turvy insanity, my understanding for this admiration for Castro and his regime can only come from Scripture in Romans 1:22-25: "Professing to be wise, they became fools who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator."
