Hi folks--I have an issue... My 7 year old son is in Cub Scouts. The den leader is my neighbor. Nice enough guy, but he is liberal. No big deal. Except yesterday I saw him at the gym and he tells me he is going to the anti war rally. This really bothers me. I really don't want my son being in this den with a leader who is (in my opinion) anti-American. Am I overreacting? Am I putting my opinions ahead of friendship and being a good neighbor? I like this guy, but I can't consider him my "friend"...

Based on last 6 presidential elections, the home team winning on Monday Night Football equates to a Republican win. The Jets won!!!!! ESPN radio told everyone to stay home!!! I love it! Go BUSH!!!!!

On Thursday July 28 the Ct GOP had a sign waving event for Bush/Cheney in Hartford, CT. At the circle where I-91 dumps into Hartford a large Bush/Cheney sign was diplayed along with several people holding smaller Bush/Cheney signs and the American Flag. The sign wavers received many honks in the brief time I observed them. Way to go CT GOP!!!! (no pictures, sorry)

Edwards speaking at fundraiser at the Goodwin Hotel in Hartford, Ct. About 30 protesters with handmade signs are there...Most appear young and good looking. Signs speak to Kerry not funding troops, lawyers, etc... A couple of Kerry dweebs there, but the big money is inside. Way to go CT GOP!!!

I know that the left hates Bush, evidenced every day across the wide media spectrum. The madness of this hatred really hit home last night when my son came home from my neighbors house. My son is five years old. We were eating dinner. My son announced that his five year old friend, our neighbor, "hates George W. Bush". I sat there stunned. My first post, I saw a thread regarding Reagans funeral from a worker bee in Boston. The poor soul was stuck with listening to a-holes deride Reagan.
