I heard an ad yesterday on KABC (790), Hannity's channel and thought it sounded fishy.

As solicitors for more than a dozen initiatives hit California's streets for petition signatures to get the issues on next year's ballot, labor unions targeted by potential measures are starting to fight back.

I was in line today with my wife and son at 6:50am to vote today in south Orange County, CA. One lady told me I had to take off my shirt, no advertisements. I said it's a USC shirt, just like the hat. Another started hassling me about it and I said you must be a u¢la fan or you just don't follow college football.

I think this sign has been taken completely out of context. I think the Libs think "it's all about me" and therefore think Dubya was touting himself for a cheap photo op. I think the sign was for the troops because their mission, to liberate Iraq, was indeed accomplished. I think that's what a true CIC would do. Now, regards the flight suit. I think it was appropriate. I assume there are certain regulations about proper attire in specific venues. How else could one explain the bunny suit JFK wore on his visit to NASA?

Some aides and close associates say Kerry's fluidity is the mark of an intellectual who grasps the subtleties of issues, inhabits their nuances and revels in the deliberative process. They call him a free thinker who defies stereotypes. Others close to him say his often-public agonizing - over whether to opt out of the system of spending caps and matching money in this campaign, or whether to run against Al Gore four years ago - can be exasperating.

Just heard this add on the radio in San Diego. I was sure it was the first Dubya ad because it had a young kid asking a Fritz Hollins type senator about social security and did he believe in partial privatization because it would run dry in 10 years otherwise. Then it breaks for a MICROSOFT ENCARTA product!! Then the kid comes back saying Encarta says more people 18-34 believe in UFOs then in the current SS system.
