Authorities spent more than one hour on Friday at Casey Frederiksen’s father’s Charles City home. An investigator with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office spent about an hour on Friday assisting the U.S. Postal Inspector with “an ongoing investigation” at 807 B St. Dennis King, Frederiksen’s father, resides at the address. “It was nothing bad,” King said of the visit. CHARLES CITY — Floyd County Attorney Marilyn Dettmer this week rejected a request for the July 1 911 recording of Noel Miller reporting her daughter missing. Casey is still a human being and as such he deserves the full legal respect due individuals under the law. He may indeed guilty of this despicable charge but that is up to the courts to determine.
