No drinking does not make you a better speller and punctuater. I was equally bad at spelling and punctuating when I drank milk. The fact is I worked at a creamery while attending a Methodist Church. I went to a potluck supper/bible study meeting at the house of a wealthy Church Elder. I brought a carton of milk and was told by the Elder that human being are able to digest milk sugar for the first 3 years of their lives and then they should stop drinking milk. AS I think about the television programs which I like, I don't know that I have seen liberal or Conservative bias: Friends, Third Rock from the Sun, Darma and Greg, Married with Children, Smallville, Angel. The Gillmore Girls is Of liberal Bias with worship of Hillery and the Kennedys, however, there is no mention whatsoever of Government services in that show. In most of these shows everyone works for a living or they get benefits from their relatives instead of the Government. Am I just not watching liberal shows because they make me want to barf? Are there barf shows that are neither Liberal nor Conservative. And there are Barf shows which are liberal. West Wing and what else?

The section on the pus content in milk is quite interesting.I hope everyone will reexamine their learning and study the concept that cows milk is ment for baby cows and not for you. They taught me in school that milk is good for me. And as we all know, everything they teach in public school is(not)perfect knowledge. Perhaps what they told you about milk is wrong. What they say is the Great Depression was caused by the protectionist tariffs of the USA and then the counter tariffs of other nations. If tariffs cause oconomic depression then what does Free Trade do for the world wide economic condition? Prosperity?! Now then next question,,,About 2 years ago the USA raised tariffs on steel to protect the old American steel mills. The price increases were passed on to the American consumers. Making us pay more because of our steel industry's uselessness. Thus the question is, "What about our tariffs" Should the USA do anything different with its economy or is it just fine as is? AS FReepers do we want to pay more in order to protect the US steel industry?

You may be right about a lot of what you say. I'm not a PHD on every subject. However, it does seem like it was the voters who placed the Republicans in charge of the US House of Representatives. And with Newt Gingrinch leading the way, welfare reform got enacted. It was as though Rush on a national scale and lots of local talk show hosts led a social movement to get welfare reformers(Republicans) elected, such as to bring some sanity back to the USA. And it wasn't just the talk show hosts; it was lots of neighbors talking to their friends about what was needed to be done.

Right On. There are a lot of us who vote Republican. Most of my meals are macrobiotic vegetarian and I am libertarian on several issues. The main issues for me are welfare reform, economics, and National Security. And I'm 100% in favor of the Republican Party on those important concepts. Long live America. Let Freedom be Forever. The Great Depression was caused by protective tarrifs which shut down international trade. This year, interest rates are at 40 year lows. Equal to the rates of the JFK years. And there are those who are saying that the long term interest rates will be falling back toward 5.00% as the year 2003 moves closer to year 2004.
