My friend is in need of emergency prayer. He is in his early 30's with 4 small girls and a wife. He has abdominal cancer, (unsure where exactly) and is in the hospital receiving chemo now. He spent the last 6 weeks in the hospital and then was transferred to Houston because the cancer has progressed. Chemo was started again and last night he spiked a fever to 103 and it is now up to 105. I went to see my doctor last week for an annual check up. Got some bad news about my blood sugar. I already have polycystic ovarian syndrome which hinges on insulin resistance, now she is saying that if I don't change my lifestyle, I may develop diabetes within the next year or so. I have already started an exercise program, walking 2 miles a day and changed my diet. The weight is not coming off as quickly as I would like and I am worried I will loose my resolve to be healthy. A very good friend of mine is in urgent need of prayers. She is faced with a pregnancy that will not survive and will probably kill her. Her baby is developing with it's brain out side of it's skull. Her doctor has told her she needs to abort the baby as soon as possible as there is evidently some risk to herself as well. I know that there are many prayer warriors here at FR so I turned to you. I would like to just offer up a prayer of thanksgiving to the one true God for his mercy and grace. He has seen fit to afford us another four years with a great president. One with outstanding morals, family dedication and amazing intestinal fortitude. IMHO, he is without a doubt a God fearing, family loving, courageous man. Thank you God, for this wonderful gift, for hearing all our prayers and for giving us another 4 years of guidance from President George W. Bush.
