I was shocked to hear from two sources that Obama is going to rescind Bush's policy of using Federal money from going for NONembryonic stem cell research. So Obama wants Federal dollars for immoral embryonic stem cell which do not work, but wants to take away money for ethical stem cells which DO work!

(CNSNews.com) - The Obama administration announced Friday that it is “reviewing” the conscience clause that was implemented in the last months of the Bush administration – the first step toward rescinding the rule altogether. The Health and Human Services regulation reinforces the right of health care workers to refuse to provide abortion and contraception if it violates their conscience or moral precepts. The new administration’s move came at the request of several groups, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, which last fall called on Obama to rescind the regulation when he took office.

When I called my U.S. senators over this weekend to leave a message on the voice mail, both senators' Washington, D.C. numbers had a full voice box. When I called their local offices, one had a full voicebox, and the other was not full, so I left a message. When I went to the supermarket recently I was surprised to see in small print that the beef was "Product of U.S.A., Mexico and Canada," and the pork said "Product of U.S.A. or Canada," but it didn't say which country.
