Where can I find data that says deepwell wastewater injection causes earthquakes? This is not “well-known” by me.

Weapons choices are like opinions, they are personal.
Handle a variety, shoot them and choose.
You can do this at many good shooting ranges and gun clubs all over the country.
When the SHTF I would prefer the following.
    308/7.62 for distance defense.
    223/5.56 for close in defense.
12 gauge slugs or 00 buckshot for home defense.
    45 pistol for room defense.
A good fighting knife, preferably double edged, for hand to hand.
God forbid I should ever need any of those.

These Seals are representative of an entire military made of of volunteers; people who are ready to do violence so that we Americans can sleep securely in our beds at night.
How many of you are aware that your present administration has plans to reduce healthcare benefits and increase premiums for coverage of the dependents of these heros?
How many of you are aware that lifetime retirement benefits are awarded to a US senator after one term, and to a US congressman after two?
How many of you are aware that these same public servants have created laws that state, if you, as a business owner, are involved in interstate commerce and have a retirement program for your employees; you must vest them in that retirement program after five years of service?
How many of you are aware that members of our military who seperate, or are seperated by a reduction in force before reaching 20 years of service, are not vested in retirement benefits? They get nothing.
How many of you are aware that both parties are aware of and condone this practice?
See the movie, “Act of Valor” and consider if something doesn’t need to be done about this situation?

Narses, I wish I had your ability to analyze, compartmentalize, and judge people by their responses on a website. It would make it much easier for me to choose the few times I feel compelled to join the discourse.
I, for one, am not a MittBot (as you term it). Neither am I a Republican. I have voted Republican most of my 63 year life.
I am, and always have been, an Independent voter. My arguement being that until you allow me to openly vote in both primaries, for the people I think best qualified to lead this country, what is the use.
I spent ten years in the service of this country in a time that it was not a popular thing to do. I was married for eight of those years, and gone from my family for four of those years in varying abscences.
I have an undying respect for those that have assured your right to villify people you don’t know, and to rant about things beyond your comprehension.
My original posted reply had nothing to do with Mitt Romney. It had nothing to do with Rick Santorum, Sarah Palin, Rick Perry, or anyone other than your obvious favorite: Newt!
Perhaps an apology is in order.
    Freedom isn't free!

Gingrich is a sure loss in the general, and a sure disaster for the Republican party.
We are only inches from the creation of a third party at this point.
Conservatives feel like blacks should feel in the Democratic party; taken for granted and ignored.
I feel a Tea Party summer coming on and it will shake all that thought the movement had withered.
Place your bets everyone. The wheel is about to spin!

Write in whomever for the top slot.
From there on down vote for true conservatives or write in true conservatives.
The solution really comes from the bottom up. Take the precinct or ward, take the city, take the county, take the state. You’ve seen what you get from the top down.
By then the Republican establishment will wonder what hit them.
The only bad action is inaction!

If you think that Newt is representative of the conservative movement then I guess I have no idea of what conservative means.
Please explain his attitudes pertaining to global warming, second amendment, immigration, etc.
Me? I'll write in Palin or Cain or West or somebody, and then I'll move on to the remainder of the ballot, which is what really is important.

A number of years back 19% of the voters sent a message that we were tired of the typical Democrat and Democrat-lite choices.
The Republican party didn't get it then and they don't get it now.
I have been advising concerned friends and relatives to not vote for president if they don't like the choices. I have told them that I will write in Sarah Palin.
I also told them that they should not stay home as the real importance in this election is below the presidency on the upcoming ballots.
I served in our military for ten years in places I cannot even tell my family about. There is no room for compromise; ask any veteran who served in conflict after WWII.

I’m not sure that freedumb2003 really supports Cain either. I suspect he/she may have other motives.
Personally, I would like to see a bunch more people jump into the race. Give the people choices and then let the best candidate win.
Me? I’ll take Palin/Cain and have fun watching people try to figure out how to oppose a female/black ticket!

I’m curious. What is your objection to having a multifaceted line of attack against the current administration?
I have been involved in many affairs that required different expertises directed in different directions in order to find the best, final, angle of attack.
If being a “birther” is not your cup of tea; by all means, jump into the get out the vote movement or something else.

    TayNinhCrusader10 to FreeReign

The Republican leadership looks at the lack of activity by the Tea Party this summer versus last summer and believes that the movement is fading. They don’t understand that last year was the run up to off year elections. this year, the effort is in organizing, planning for 2012, as well as analyzing the successes and failures of the 2010 campaign.
Wait til next summer. They ain’t seen nothin yet!
