We all know more than a few-- Dems who support 0. Reasoning makes them stubborn. Warning them angers, begging reassures them. But, there may yet be a way to breech the walls. Try this: "So you're voting for Obama?" "Oh yes, (blah blah blah)." "Well, he might win. That's too bad for Hillary." "Why so? " "Well you know, if Obama wins he'll probably get two terms, and then the pendulum will swing back. Or he might get booted after one, it's going to be a rough four years no matter who is in there. If Obama's fixed the economy,...

CAMDEN, N.J. -- A flea market will have to pay the record industry to compensate for the pirated CDs and cassettes sold there, a federal judge has ruled. U.S. District Judge Jerome M. PBS, NPR and the arts are facing major cutbacks in funding. In spite of the efforts of each station to reduce spending costs and streamline their services, some government officials believe that the funding currently going to these programs is too large a portion of funding for something which is seen as not worthwhile. This is message...

I need advice and can't think of a better place to get it. I bought my house which was listed as public sewage. We later found out that the owner had disconnected the sewage and reverted to a septic system. The township requires that we reconnect, requiring extensive electrical and plumbing work, estimated at 10,000. We wish to sue the previous owners, but were advised that it would be risky. While we can prove the sewage was disconnected, it will be difficult to disprove the seller's claims of ignorance. We are within the discovery date, according to two attorneys we...

President Clinton, in a speech in Washington at Geoge Washingon University, decries Congress' response to his anti-terrorism proposals, urging passage of laws that would increase wiretapping and allow explosives taggants. PRESIDENT CLINTON: We have pursued a concerted national and international strategy against terrorism on three fronts. First, on the international front, stopping the spread of terrorism clearly requires common action. The United States has a special responsibility to lead in this effort. Over the past four years, our intelligence services have been sharing more information than ever with other nations. We've opened up a law enforcement academy in Budapest, ...
