Thomas Nagdy, Black man, protest leader, killed by a carjacker on the way to a protest. Not killed by police, therefore just a local story, just one of a record number of Louisville murders, doesn't matter. ============== LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Family members of 21-year-old community activist Travis Nagdy said he was shot and killed early Monday morning. According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the shooting happened just after midnight in the 2100 block of Crittenden Drive near the University of Louisville's campus. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Nagdy died of multiple gunshot wounds. Nagdy's mother, Christina Muimneach,...

The closest states for Trump to flip, Arizona (-16K votes), Georgia (-10K) and Wisconsin (-20K) would move the Electoral College to a 269-269 tie, sending the election to the House of Representatives, which Trump should win 26-24 as each state delegation has 1 vote. But the simplest way to decide the election in that case without a vote in the House would be for the unicameral Republican legislature of Nebraska to change the state's electoral delegation back to winner-take-all, giving Trump the elector from the 2nd district and a 270-268 win.

Montgomery County (north suburb of Philly), 62,909 more votes than 2016 (501K vs 438K +14.34%). Population increased only about 1-2%. Other large blue counties show only small turnout changes of 5% or less. Pittsburgh will be down. Very suspicious to me.

Win North Carolina. Win or come close in Arizona. Challenge fraudulent votes in Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin & Pennsylvania (assuming PA is lost too). This is nothing like Bush v Gore in 2000. Gore never pursued fraudulent votes in Florida because they were all his. In 1876, Florida, Louisiana and South Carolina were rife with fraud and threats of violence against Republicans. Electoral College delegations were submitted for both parties as the states' votes remained in dispute until March when the matter was settled by a special committee.

Almighty and most merciful Father, we humbly beseech Thee, of Thy great goodness, to restrain these immoderate polls with which we have had to contend. Grant us fair media for Campaigning. Graciously hearken to us as voters who call upon Thee that, armed with Thy power, we may advance from victory to victory and crush the oppression and wickedness of our enemies, and establish Thy justice among men and nations. Amen.

Superstar rapper Waka Flocka Flame thinks President Donald Trump “is a better president” than Barack Obama. The comments came when the 34-year-old rapper responded to a post on Instagram from DJ Akademiks who wrote on his social media page that, “The big homie [Barack Obama] violated [Donald Trump] at a rally event today,” per Revolt TV in a piece published Thursday. There are procedures in at least some states for changing one's vote after submitting a mail-in ballot before election day. (I have read and posted in another thread the procedure for doing this in Michigan.) Does anyone have any data, anecdotes or inquiries by people wishing to do so as a result of the 2nd debate or Biden laptop revelations?

The petrochemical industry produces more than 88 million tons of polyethylene, making it the most common plastic in the world. Scientists have found a new way to upcycle it, according to a study published in Science on Thursday. It could help deal with the growing plastic pollution crisis. Polyethylene comes in several different forms and is used in everything from plastic bags and food packaging to electrical insulation and industrial piping. Since it’s so common and our recycling system is so broken, we end up throwing away a shitload of the stuff. It can end up in landfills or the...

There is a lot of talk about the Pope resigning, being constrained to resign, or being deposed... Let’s consider the question, then, “Can a Pope be deposed?” by first defining our terms. Here, “pope” means the Bishop of Rome, who ex officio is the Vicar of Christ and the Successor of Saint Peter... The first determination we must make is to distinguish the auxiliary verb “can”. A thing can be done physically, morally and legally. An enemy of the Church could arrest the Pope, force him under pain of death to sign a decree of abdication. That is a physical...

It is time the world faced down the scourge of charitable colonialism. When the capitalist world sends food and medicine for free to the developing socialist world, ostensibly to alleviate hunger and disease and recover from disasters, it also has the insidious effect of making the poor of the world feel gratitude to evil capitalists. This gratitude is a form of colonialism which diverts the poor's attention from the necessary revolution to destroy capitalist oppression. When free food and medicine arrives in ports thus colonized, it must be diverted to the use of the revolution when possible and otherwise destroyed....

Try commenting on a YouTube video using the words "Muslim" and "assassin" anywhere in the same comment. After submitting the comment, which appears to be accepted, hit reload. Within about 10 seconds, the comment will disappear. (You may have to reload 2-3 times. The censorship takes a few seconds to happen.) Post the same comment split in two so that "Muslim" and "assassin" are in separate comments one after the other and they will stay. To be fair, Youtube will also automatically delete comments containing both "Christian" and "assassin". The challenge is what other combinations of words will Youtube also...

Nearly six months after an 11-year-old old Texas girl was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor called diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, or DIPG, doctors can no longer find a trace of it after her family and friends prayed for a miracle. “And we got it,” said Gena Doss, the mother of Roxli Doss, in an interview with KVUE. And now everyone is thanking God for His blessing. “Praise God we did,” her husband, Scott, said. Dr. Virginia Harrod with Dell Children’s Medical Center told KVUE that DIPG is a rare and devastating disease. "It is very rare, but when we...

The headline should have been: “Security Guard Apprehends Shooter and Saves Lives.” Instead, it’s another case of the police shooting and killing an innocent black man. Eyewitnesses say that at Manny’s Blue Room Bar in Robbins, [Cook County, Chicago] Ill., security told a group of intoxicated men they had to leave. One of the men returned armed, at which point shots were exchanged between them and armed security guards. One of the guards, Jemel Roberson, 26, managed to restrain one of the gunmen. From WGN9: “He had somebody on the ground with his knee in back with his gun in...

"History does not repeat but it rhymes" - Mark Twain (maybe) Heinrich Müller (28 April 1900; date of death unknown, but evidence points to May 1945) was a German police official under both the Weimar Republic and Nazi Germany. He became chief of the Gestapo, the political secret state police of Nazi Germany, and was involved in the planning and execution of the Holocaust. He was known as "Gestapo Müller" to distinguish him from another SS general also named Heinrich Müller. He was last seen in the Führerbunker in Berlin on 1 May 1945 and remains the most senior figure...
