June 28, 2012 is a day that will live in infamy. It was a day that America officially became a socialist nation. It is a day that marked the end of freedom as we know it.

Ruling 5-4 to uphold ObamaCare, the Supreme Court of the United States gave the Federal Government unlimited power over our individual lives. As a result, the quality of our healthcare and the freedom to choose our doctors and hospitals has been stripped. This decision also sets the dangerous precedent for future government take-overs of our lives.

    A Veteran's Question

Soft, the breeze flutters the flag of nation's pride,
over the silent stones of those who served and died.
Here in the silence I remember them standing tall,
proud to have served when their nation did them call.
Now our 'leaders' are unfit to lead, and the masses weak,
heroes are forbidden, and honesty only few will even seek.
Democrat means Socialist, and enemy of all our values fair,
Republicans are weak, and fear even to get mad and swear.
America you are in danger, and so few care, even to pray,
freedoms drift as laws becomes false, is it the last of days?

The CSIRO has discovered the heaviest element yet known to science.

The new element is Governmentium (Gv ). It has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.
These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lefton-like particles called peons.
Since Governmentium has no electrons or protons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction normally taking less than a second to take from four days to four years to complete.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2- 6 years. It does not decay but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.
In fact, Governmentium’s mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.
When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons. All of the money is consumed in the exchange, and no other byproducts are produced.

    Count The Days

Enumerate the days until He was born in Bethlehem away so far
Remembering the way it was told in the Good Book so true
The story still excites me for I know it now by heart I do
I can see that little manger under the gleam of that distant star

Shepherds and their sheep stood watch, as Angles sang sweet
Wise men sought Him, the promised Savior, Heaven’s Lamb
Mary kissed her tiny child and so the face of her Lord, I Am
The greatest gift, for all mankind, the proclaimed Redemption’s treat

I love the season truly, for I know the true Reason for the Season
Not the fat man in red, or piles of gifts in colors grand
Not a fir lighted in a glory of hues on the tree stand
Its for the One that carried all the pain of the world, His only Son

“You bring the wife, I’ll bring the boyfriend, and my little stereo box, and we’ll all sit there in the sand, as the sun sets, and listen to some music by Beethoven, Mozart, and Vivaldi, and tell stories about the years gone by.

And, then you can read to us all, some of your favorite poetry.”

Great, and then I can cook up a mess of crab cakes and serve them with a salad and a nice wine!

“Moving is hard on anyone..but harder the older we get.”

Oh so true! Thankfully we are in a nice safe and wonderful home now. The apartment we lived in opened their doors to section-8 families, and soon we had fights in the parking lot and damage to the apartments. Something we never had in 11 years living there. Now we live in a 3 bedroom house and in a more rural area and feel able to relax and enjoy the days more.

Thinking of you and hope all is well with you, old son.
Keeping you in our prayers and hoping to get up that way sometime.

    Sitting on a Beach

Sandy moments on a white ribbon stretching to the horizon
Lapped by salty waters wandering the world dawn to dawn
I walked the strand twixt the sounding sea and the land
Thinking no thoughts at all, just dreaming out of hand

Zephyr wind song set to dancing gulls crying their glee
Racing the shifting tides and chasing waves by me
Circling overhead in a ballet between dawn and dusk
as I pause and smell the sea’s own brand of musk

Sun drenched shore and glittering sea blending sweet
Sea grasses dance in the shifting airs so soft and fleet
I love this place where the heart and soul can heal
And where the human song can finally freely peal

May I suggest Sister ‘Knuckles’ O’Hara of the Order of Holy Bouncers and now head disciplinarian at the Congressional Intern Lodging Facility. (ever since she took over no Intern has had to dodge a Congressman!)

In this world we can’t speak our minds, or we may offend someone.
Well, its time for plain speaking and let the offended get over themselves!

PC costs American lives. In 2000 when the USS Cole refueled in Yemen’s port of Aden, Navy brass were so concerned about appearing to be “sensitive guests” that sailors patrolling the deck were not permitted to carry loaded weapons.

Nor did the destroyer deploy “picket boats” and establish a defensive perimeter—even though Yemen had only recently been taken off the State Department’s list of countries that sponsored terrorism.

All this pandering to imaginary foreign sensitivities made it pitifully easy for an al Qaeda motorized skiff packed with explosives to approach the destroyer and blow a hole in its side, killing seventeen American sailors.

Two hours after this entirely avoidable terrorist attack, another motorized skiff approached the stricken vessel. A sentry raised his rifle, only to be told by his ‘superior’;(?): “Let me tell you something about the rules of engagement. You can’t point a loaded weapon at these people. That’s an act of aggression.”

And Libs wonder why our enemies no longer take U.S. military power or the U.S. seriously?

Its time to speak plainly, and clearly, and take a small measure of pleasure at the discomfort of the left as we retake America and build her even better.
