    National Corvette Museum ^ | February 12, 2014 | Unattributed
We received a call at 5:44am from our security company alerting us of our motion detectors going off in our Skydome area of the Museum. Upon arrival it was discovered that a sinkhole had collapsed within the Museum. No one was in or around the Museum at the time. The Bowling Green Fire Department arrived on the scene and secured the area. The Fire Department has estimated the size of the hole is 40 feet across and 25-30 feet deep. It is with heavy hearts that we report that eight Corvettes were affected by this incident. Those cars include: -1993...
  • Justice Dept to Strip Islam from Terror Investigations?

Listen to an audio version of this column On Monday, I stumbled across a column published last month at Investors.com claiming that Attorney General Eric Holder intends to ban consideration of "religion" in terror investigations. By "religion," we understand he means Islam. Let's take a look at part of the story: According to NBC News, the Justice Department will soon prohibit religious profiling in terror cases. The move, if true, would completely blind federal law enforcement to the threat from Islamic extremism. Already, the department has forced the FBI to bleach references to "Islam" and "jihad" from its counterterrorism training...

What was most instructive about Tuesday night's debate between Ken Ham and Bill Nye [watch entire debate here] over the issue of origins was Nye's blanket admission of total, abject ignorance on the most important questions of the evening. Where did the atoms that made up the Big Bang come from? Nye has no idea. Where did man's consciousness come from? Nye has no idea. How can matter produce life? Nye has absolutely no idea. This surely is all one needs to know to recognize the utter bankruptcy of the theory of evolution. Now it's helpful for us who believe...
  • Yes, Homosexual Movement IS After Your God-Given Rights

Listen to an audio version of this column We have repeatedly warned you that the radical homosexual movement's goal is nothing less than the obliteration of the rights of those who oppose it. Homosexual activists parrot their lying talking points, constantly denying that this is the case. I can't tell you how many countless times these people have screeched and wailed at me in comments sections of my columns that homosexual "rights" will never affect Christians or any others who oppose them. This is a damnable lie. Homosexual "rights" and the free exercise of religion cannot coexist. They are mutually...
  • Pelosi Denies Retirement Rumors [Satire]

WASHINGTON (WNB) - Rep. Nancy Pelosi (RTRD-Ca) is being forced to deny rumors she's retiring from Congress at the end of the year. Sources close to Pelosi claim that unbeknownst to everyone around her, the House Minority Leader has been carrying on as a zombie, after unexpectedly dying late last year from a fatal brain fire. The DNC reportedly reanimated her so she could finish her term. "Look, she smells like diseased feet, couldn't put together a legible thought if her life depended on it, lurches around spasmodically, and has those bizarre, constantly blinking dead eyes. She may act perfectly...
  • Balancing the Budget? Or Adding a National Sales Tax to the Income Tax?

The stated purpose of Compact for America, Inc. is to get a balanced budget amendment (BBA) ratified. Here is their proposed BBA. State Legislators recently introduced it in Arizona. [1] The gap between what this BBA pretends to do – and what it actually does – is enormous. It has nothing to do with "balancing the budget" – it is about slipping in a new national sales tax or value-added tax in addition to the existing federal income tax. We have become so shallow that we look no further than a name – if it sounds good, we are all...
  • Obama Wants America Too Stupid To Be Free

"Stupéfiant" is a French word for "drug." It is a compound word with roots that literally mean "to put someone into a stupor," to induce a state of mental numbness in which you are unable to think normally. More pungently put, it describes things that make you stupid. I thought of this recently as I read a report of Obama's indulgent attitude toward marijuana. He claimed that it's less dangerous than alcohol. The salient question is, "Dangerous to whom or in what way?" With respect to individuals, his nonchalance is certainly debatable. As WND's Art Moore has pointed out, data...

We didn’t have to wait till 2016 to see Obama’s ugly America unfold. Not many of us would have ever dreamed that the United States could fall to the communists. And, it still remains to be seen if we will be able to beat them back. It doesn’t look good at this point, because there is a group of people in power in Washington, and in many of our major institutions, that is aggressively working to tear down America’s foundations of freedom and Godly heritage, and it has the unopposed “power of the sword” to do it. The people in...

PEARL – The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency and several state agencies are assisting Union County officials with an explosion and subsequent fire at a biodiesel facility on Highway 15 just north of New Albany. The fire is still burning. Union County Emergency Management Director Curt Clayton says two workers escaped without injuries at the time of the explosion around 6 a.m. One home and two industrial businesses near the plant have been evacuated as a precaution. The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality has air monitoring teams in the area to test for hazardous materials that may leave the site, but...
  • Who’s ‘Extreme,’ Governor Cuomo?

While we are not surprised at any outrageous thing liberals say, it is becoming increasingly disturbing how brazen they now are in their un-American pronouncements. This past Friday the Democrat Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, flatly declared that people who hold conservative views on life, guns and homosexuality have no place in New York. He called these views “extreme.” This is the governor of a state in America, not a member of the lunatic fringe Left on MSNBC. Well, he may be a member of the lunatic fringe Left, but he is—sadly—still a governor! The New York Post reported...

The power of history to speak to us depends on our ability to hear it. When we are deaf to its secrets, or too confused or conditioned to decipher them, we miss the opportunity to be empowered by them. We thus fail to overcome the propaganda our own government, like the dictatorships we revile, has all too often deceived us with. I am struck by this aura of static around a sensational new discovery. Researcher and author Krystyna Piorkowska, the Associated Press reported this week, has unearthed a “lost” U.S. document, dating back to 1945, known as the Van Vliet...

Prosecutors say a former minister at First Baptist Church in Birmingham, Ala., charged with his wife’s murder, was trying to leave the country prior to his Jan. 1 arrest to marry his boyfriend. The latest twist in a story that has received worldwide media attention came Jan. 16 in a bond hearing for Richard Shahan, 53, who resigned recently as children and families pastor and facilities director at First Baptist, reportedly to head overseas for three years of mission work in Europe and Central Asia. Prosecutors said information gleaned from more than 3,000 of Shahan’s e-mails indicate he was planning...

The "Convention of States" (COS) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page contains 989 words – none of them true – except for these which appear in the first paragraph: "The federal government is spending this country into the ground ... It's time American citizens took a stand and made a legitimate effort to curb the power ... of the federal government." In my last paper, I showed how our Constitution itemizes what Congress is authorized to spend money on; and that we have a $17 trillion debt because everyone ignores the limits the Constitution places on Congress' spending powers. To curb...

Listen to an audio version of this column Mission America Radio Host, speaker and author Linda Harvey is spot-on over the target with her excellent new book for young people, Maybe He's Not Gay: Another View on Homosexuality, and she's catching frenzied homosexual activist flak because of it. I am on Linda Harvey's e-mail list, and she recently sent out an alert that her book had been released and was available at Amazon.com. She also said that the radical homosexual activists had immediately waged a vicious assault campaign against it in the reviews and comments section. Many of the "reviewers"...

In 2010 millions of American tea-party constitutionalists, to include the GOP’s Christian base, united in a remarkable grass-roots effort to rein in our unbridled federal government and return it to its expressly limited constitutional confines. As a result, an unprecedented number of counter-constitutionalist lawmakers (read: liberal Democrats) were swept from office. The Obama administration wasn’t going to take this lying down. Whether it was by tacit approval or via direct order remains largely immaterial. The president quickly and unlawfully politicized the Internal Revenue Service, using it as a weapon against his political enemies. In an explosive scandal that continues to...

WASHINGTON (WNB) - Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (RTRD-Texas) celebrated 50 years of welfare in a House speech Wednesday by suggesting a way to make it even more popular. The notoriously dim part time parade float suggested the word "welfare'" be changed to "relaxation incentive." Jackson Lee reportedly settled on the new term after deciding her original idea, "working cracker gift fund," was too long. ep. Sheila Jackson Lee proves again why she's considered the dumbest human being on earth

Listen to an audio version of this column When we read about a Russian television star saying he believes homosexuals should be burned alive in ovens and stripped of their right to vote (before or after the ovens?), then right off the bat, we know we're dealing with a hard-core publicity hound or a lunatic, maybe both. Naturally, no one, other than fellow lunatics, would agree with him. That's not a hard position to take. Conservative radio talk show host, Glenn Beck, weighed in on the story in an appearance on CNN. He had apparently mentioned the story on his...

According to the Washington Times and other media outlets, the Marine Corps has decided to delay the female fitness plan. Why? Few women can pass it. I served alongside a lot of women during my 10 years in the Air Force. I’ve worked for some who were superior in rank, and most were great leaders. As a military cop, I went through physical apprehension and restraint technique training with a female Marine partner. I even went through combat training with several women, and most have the fighting spirit. But in most cases, women don’t have the same physical strength men...

The website was never meant to work properly, and I am sick of hearing people, especially on our side, harp on it and gloat over it, as if this were a major blunder by the Obama administration. It wasn’t a blunder. It was a slushy, billion-dollar calculated move. The website was only a ruse, a smokescreen, to help further their evil goal of forcing command-and-control socialized medicine into the faces of the formerly free American people. A fully-functioning website would prematurely reveal the grotesquely higher costs of this monstrous poison pill, Obamacare—excuse me; the “Affordable” Care Act—and, they didn’t want...
