  • Report: Obama Threatened to Shoot Down IAF Iran Strike

    03/01/2015 3:09:02 PM PST · by InvisibleChurch · 108 replies
The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran's nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran. Following Obama's threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack. According to Al-Jarida, the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran’s nuclear program and were about to sign...

Dianne Feinstein: Inside Traitor Out of the entire universe of those who could have won the first phase construction contract for California’s high speed rail boondoggle, who would stand out as the last person who would win it if there were no political patronage. Put another way, who is the most likely person to win it if there is political patronage? Feinstein-one eyeBoth questions have the same answer: Richard Blum, the husband of California senator Diane Feinstein. So, who won the contract? Blum, of course, as the principle owner of Tutor Perini, the lead firm in the three-firm consortium selected...
  • Obamacare threatens to end John Roberts’s dream of a nonpartisan Supreme Court

The first time the Affordable Care Act came before the Supreme Court, its constitutional foundation under attack, John G. Roberts Jr. was its unlikely savior. In a spectacular display of spot-welding, the chief justice joined fellow conservatives on some points and brought liberals on board for others. Roberts was the only member of the court to endorse the entire jerry-rigged thing, and even he made sure to distance himself from the substance of the law. (“It is,” he wrote, “not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”) Still, his efforts rescued President Obama’s signature...

The historic stretch of winter weather gripping New Hampshire in recent weeks is helping to prove an old adage among law enforcement circles: Crooks like it hot.Police say the steady string of storms into the Granite State since mid-January show the special relationship between weather and crime: as the snowflakes and temperatures fall, so do the number of certain types of crime - particularly assaults, burglary and robberies."Burglars can be stupid, but they're not completely dumb," said Lt. Dan Bailey of the Nashua Police Department. "They're not going to break into a house when they'll leave footprints in the snow."Reports...

I found three Freepers (in the last 24 hours that prior to a few days ago (10 days at the most) have not been active in a very long time...... At least a year and a half or more. The other two Freepers have no posts for 7 years and 3 years. Now prior to that time gap all would have maybe 1 or 2 posts a years several years ago. Yet in the last few days they are posting a lot. I find that very odd? I think these accounts have been hijacked by the opposition? For those that...

Silly me. I thought the Google street-view mapping chaps used bullet-proof vans. Maybe I'm thinking of Texas. No second-guessing the Brits, of course. If he's only at Stonehenge, no need to rush that Faraday cage project just yet. BTW, with the right tracking gear and attachments, you could make this guy's life pretty miserable with a few drones and some water balloons. Nice pants.

We finally got a great look at the freezing Great Lakes in the last two days. The high resolution satellites give us images of the Great Lakes during the day, once a day. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, Michigan had clear skies when the satellite took the latest pictures. So it yielded the best look from high in space so far this winter. Friday's sunny sky also was a great day for MLive photographers to take to the sky and give us an up-close look at ice on Lakes Huron and Michigan. With the very cold weather Friday and Saturday, the...

Lets assume Hillary runs. And keep in mind that she can't sell her book, can never draw a massive crowd, well only in deep blue liberal districts. The GOP does have a chance to retake four of five states back from Obama to win in 2016.Can anyone see Hillary filling stadiums in the manner that Palin and Romney did? Especially in Colorado, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa and Florida. Those are the states the Republican nominee needs to flip. So does Hillary really expect to fill halls/arena's and stadiums in those crucial purple states? Will she have to give away free gifts at the...

Two environmental organizations have asked the US Department of Energy to cancel experiments with plutonium at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s (LLNL’s) National Ignition Facility (NIF). Representatives from the groups claim the experiments could contaminate the massive laser facility and possibly expose workers and the public to the toxic element. The Natural Resources Defense Council and Tri-Valley CAREs, in Livermore, California, charge that existing environmental impact statements do not include an adequate assessment of the environmental, safety, and proliferation aspects of zapping plutonium with beams from NIF’s 1.8-megajoule laser. The experiments are to be conducted in NIF’s massive 10-meter-diameter target chamber...

Eleven trillion dollars: that’s how much of so-called Quantitative Easing the world’s central banks have done since the 2008 crisis. To put that in perspective, with eleven trillion dollars you could pay off pretty much all U.S. household debt – all mortgages, all car and student loans, credit cards – you name it. So what did the global economy get for $11,000,000,000,000 in QE? Following a post-recession pop, we got collapsing world trade growth, and that’s even with prices falling over the past three to four years. Why is this happening? It’s not because this time around things are different....
