BOB BECKEL, GUEST CO-HOST: Governor, this is Bob Beckel in for Alan Colmes. You just said something interesting in your response before. You said that those are the kinds of things said by people on the other side. Are you suggesting that Barack Obama is on the other side of the United States on this war? You said the other side. I'm curious what you meant by that. ROMNEY: I meant the other side of the aisle. Democrats have been saying — for instance, Harry Reid said we lost the war, forgetting of course that we knocked down Saddam Hussein...

General David Petraeus appeared on Alan Colmes' radio program yesterday. That's a smart move by the general, and Colmes is a fine host, though his site doesn't provide transcripts. The folks who slandered the general for appearing on my show will now be writing what? UPDATE: Here's a transcript provided by a reader. I can't vouch for its complete accuracy, but I trust the sender: "ALAN COLMES, FOX NEWS HOST: We welcome the commander of the Multi-National Force, General David Petraeus. General, thank you so much for being with us tonight. GENERAL DAVID PETRAEUS, COMMANDER, MULTI-NATIONAL FORCE, IRAQ: Good............. COLMES:...

OK! Here's my question to liberals appeasers, so far I didn't get ANY answer on this (besides a lib/lip/sipn). Why did Islamic Al Qaeda plan to attack UK on 2001? Before the Iraq war... excuse http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/monitoring/media_reports/1713557.stm Al-Qaeda note suggests 'attack on London' Sunday, 16 December, 2001 I saw yesterday Alan Colmes telling (on H&C) Oliver North that it's not radical Islam it's not "Islam¨". Hey, I like you as a person but not your opinions. Alan, 1) Do you know any better then the Muslims themselves, as to what Islam is & what it is not? 2) They do it...

Alan Colmes refers to "George Bush and His Henchmen" during the Hannity and Colmes hour. The guests were Michael Reagan and Bob Beckel. At the end of the segment Hannity referred to the "appeasement Democrats" and Becked responded "Appease this." Quite a lively night for Colmes and his henchman Beckel.

Group upset at the fact that KTLK (Air America in LA) terminated shows like "Harrison on the Edge" in favor of "Mr KTLK" (formerly Mr KABC) and Alan Colmes. Apparently the new hosts aren't left-wing enough. There's an effort to contact/boycott national sponsors over this...abomination! :) "All over the country they are trying to scuttle strong progressive radio stations, like in Madison, WI (where we the people beat them back), and in Boston where they got away with it. And now they have a new politically hostile strategy, to squeeze out our strongest and most courageous voices and REPLACE them...

On the February 9th broadcast of Hannity & Colmes, Alan Colmes made an outrageous and poisonous statement that was not corrected on air.Speaking to Oliver North, Colmes supported Congressman John Murtha's ugly and destructive lie that, "no question about it", Marines in Haditha had "killed innocent civilians in cold blood".Defending the indefensible, Colmes told the viewers that there have been "confessions and convictions" in the Haditha Marine case. Now Darryl Sharratt, the father of a Haditha Marine has a question: "I would like to ask Alan Colmes where he got his information. There have been no convictions. There have been no...

Tonight's Hannity and Colmes featured an interview with Col. Oliver North about the media coverage of Iraq and the William Arkin slam against our soldiers. During the course of the interview, Alan Colmes claimed that Rep. John Murtha was right when Murtha accused our Marines of killing innocent civilians in Haditha in cold blood. Col. North immediately reminded Colmes that the Marines had yet to face a trial therefore they were innocent until proven guilty. Colmes replied "there were confessions". Here's my personal transcript of that portion of the interview... Colmes: Murtha turned out to have correct information. Dick Durbin...

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And they're monitoring our people to try to prevent the one person from coming up with the one idea. And the one idea is how we are going to exterminate white people. Because that, in my estimation, is the only conclusion I have come to. We have to exterminate white people off of the face of the planet to solve this problem. SEAN HANNITY, CO-HOST: Last night, we brought you this story of former North Carolina State University professor Kamau Kambon, who made those comments at a forum on media coverage of Hurricane Katrina last year. It has...

Alan Colmes, last night: “Jim Angle, who reported this for FOX News, quotes a defense official who says these were pre-1991 weapons that could not have been fired as designed because they’d already been degraded ..." Here's what you find when you do some digging on the Internet about mustard gas: a letter from two United Nations weapons inspectors to the President of the Security Council from 1999: " a dozen mustard-filled shells were recovered at a former CW storage facility in the period 1997-1998. The chemical sampling of these munitions, in April 1998, revealed that the mustard was still...

The voice of the AFLAC duck has been named the Unsexiest Man in the World. Comedian Gilbert Gottfried tops the list compiled by the Boston Phoenix's Web site. The list is a mix of entertainers, sports stars, even terrorists. Osama bin Laden is number eight on the list. Of Gottfried, the Phoenix says "The parrot-voiced, pickled-face comic is to sexy what Kryptonite is to Superman."

As "House" was a rerun last night, I switched the channel to Hannity and Colmes. Knowing that Hannity is still on vacation, I expected to find the only-Sean-can-control-him Alan Colmes in totally undisciplined mode. I was not disappointed. When I joined the program, Colmes was beginning a full-court press against former Advisor to VP Cheney Ron Christie. Christie was on camera but, not in-studio. Alan told Christie that the NSA warrantless wiretaps were illegal and asked him to provide an answer as to why they weren't. In his typical wild-eyed-and-mouth liberal fashion, Colmes allowed Christie only 2-3 sentences to explain...

Gen. Bolger also told me that a new soldier in the Iraqi Army makes around $300 a month, while the terrorists are offering about $300 per night for anyone willing to plant an IED. Yet Iraqi Army boot camps are turning out around 1,650 brand new soldiers every five weeks. That number is growing weekly, and is slated to double in 2006. Like the throngs of voters who queued up to the ballot box last week, volunteers who stand in the Iraqi army recruiting lines are not stupid. Nor are they so desperate for work they'll risk death for a...

Excerpt from Hannity & Colmes site: Should schools be allowed to teach children about the birds and the bees? That’s what the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled when rejecting a lawsuit by parents who objected to schools teaching kids about sex without their permission. Don’t miss the hottest debate on live television when attorneys/authors Ann Coulter and Susan Estrich duke it out over schools and sex! And, how will cases like this be impacted by the confirmation of Judge Sam Alito? Coulter and Estrich debate it.

This is a partial transcript from "Hannity & Colmes," Oct. 26, 2005, that has been edited for clarity. COLMES: Democrats are addressing more serious issues, like the war in Iraq. Earlier today Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) spoke at Georgetown University in Washington. I caught up with him for an exclusive interview after the speech. COLMES: Do you expect indictments to come down toward the White House? SEN. JOHN KERRY: I don't have a clue. I read what everybody else reads. Honestly, I don't know. COLMES: Do you think there should be resignations, with or without indictments? KERRY: Well, I...

ALAN COLMES, CO-HOST: Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (search) recently took a trip to the border with Mexico. And today, he announced that the Senate will consider immigration reform (search) legislation as early as February. This forces onto the agenda a story that we've been reporting about all year. Sean has taken three trips to the border this year, one to Arizona, one to Texas, and New Mexico, and one to California. All along the way, we've been stunned by what we've seen. Joining us now, in an exclusive interview to tell us about the new plan and why the...
