There may not be a more painful oxymoron than "feminist comedian." MTV flash-in-the-pan Sarah Silverman and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" co-creator Lizz Winstead teamed up in New York City on Nov. 18 for a telethon to fund abortions in Texas via NARAL Pro-Choice America. Think Jerry's Kids -- children assisted by the Muscular Dystrophy Association -- except instead of saving them, the unborn are eliminated. They call that "reproductive justice." Silverman and Winstead appeared together that night on MSNBC's "All In with Chris Hayes," where Hayes described the event as a "telethon to help Texas women trying to...

Anti-Depressant For Obama - SNL Highlight Paxil: Second Term Strength is the anti-depressant for presidents feeling low.

There are almost too many piquant lines in this less than two-minute pharmaceutical commercial sketch to choose from, among them: “You’ll feel like you’re giving a speech at a college campus in 2008 or getting bin Laden, all over again!” and “Warning: Paxil is not covered by Obamacare. We promised that it would be, but it’s not. And for that, we apologize.” …Ouch. Of course, they had to include to obligatory last-minute shot at Republicans tacked on at the end, but the cameo by Bill Clinton with his oh-so-unhelpful comments from last week really takes the cake:

The roughly seven-minute skit depicted an actor playing the president delivering a speech dedicated to showcasing the supposed benefits of the healthcare law. However, as individuals were called up one-by-one to testify in favor of Obamacare, they instead delivered some surprising news. “I am psyched for Obamacare,” one woman said, explaining “now that...

After eight largely Chappelle-free years, you’d think comedy fans would be eager to hear what the guy had to say in his new standup routine. By EW’s own account, spectators in Austin certainly were: When Dave Chappelle first took the stage at Funny or Die’s Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival, those present gave the comic a standing ovation before he even began his set. Alas, that was Texas —and this is Connecticut. Last night in Hartford, a noisy, unruly crowd prompted Chappelle to pause his set, ultimately walking off stage to a chorus of boos.

The White House’s deputy press secretary today downplayed Muslim attacks on Christians in Egypt, joking about the savagery that has left at least six Christians dead. Press secretary Josh Earnest was asked by Fox News’ correspondent, Ed Henry, if President Barack Obama has a “red line” beyond which he would act against Muslim attacks on Egyptian Christians. “Well, I didn’t bring my red pen out with me today,” Earnest joked. After making his joke, Earnest said the administration is “outraged… and concerned” about the Muslim attacks on almost 100 churches, monasteries, orphanages and other marked Christian sites. Many Christians’ shops...

Over the years, I’ve meticulously chronicled progressive haters and their rank hypocrisy. It’s time for yet another refresher course as the libs go nuts over a rodeo clown. Without further ado, drawn from my blog archives, here are 10 images/signs/agitprop items mocking George W. Bush that were far, far worse than any of the silly Obama gags causing prog conniptions.

While there is no written law, we may have finally reached a place in America where it’s forbidden to publicly mock the president of the United States — assuming the president is an African-American and a member of the Democratic Party. The outcry over a rodeo clown donning a mask resembling President Obama reached a new level of absurdity when it was reported Monday that the man behind the mask has been permanently banned from performing at the fair ever again, as reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Missouri State Fair officials barred the rodeo clown from ever performing at...

SEDALIA, Mo - An incident at the Missouri State Fair on Saturday night is getting national attention via social media. A clown wearing a mask of President Obama came out in the arena during the bull riding event. The announcer then asked the crowd if it wanted to see Obama “run down by a bull.” An onlooker posted their account of the event on social media, which was then picked up by the Daily Kos and the Kansas City Star. “The crowd went wild. He asked it again and again, louder each time,” the onlooker’s account of the event said.
