This being the case, I asked Daniels to guide me through the data mine field and help me ascertain what we know for sure about the world's best-known Social Security number – 042-68-4425. "All I can say," says Daniels of 042-68-4425, "is that it's phony and [Obama] has been using it, with it first appearing on his Selective Service document in 1980." Daniels sent me a copy of the hand-written application of the individual who held the number immediately before Obama's, 042-68-4424. The applicant, Thomas Wood, died at age 19, which is why his information is available.

The warnings were stark and issued repeatedly as far back as 1972: If the cooling systems ever failed at a “Mark 1” nuclear reactor, the primary containment vessel surrounding the reactor would probably burst as the fuel rods inside overheated. Dangerous radiation would spew into the environment.

One gained the reputation as “Dr. Death” for his political tactics. He is joined by political operatives who worked for Democratic candidates such as Hillary Clinton, Barbara Boxer, and Jerry Brown, and lent their know-how to the unsuccessful campaign to legalize marijuana in California. These political operatives have launched a campaign to discredit House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) Members of the San Francisco-based political strategy firm SCN Strategies started an organization called Third Lantern, with a Web site, issafiles.com, which purports to show already public documents about Issa’s past.

I am wondering if anyone has advice. I lost a very well paying job but thank God landed another one right away. The new one pays less (about 30%)but still pays well. Through my lawyer I petitioned for less alimony / support in August 2010. I have heard NOTHING from FOC. I continue to follow up with my lawyer who goes on to say; well they can take 6 months or so to revise the order. Meanwhile I cannot pay my property taxes as FOC sits on all my money. WTF. Any ideas?

Holder Urges GOP Oversight To Focus On "Substance," Not "Politically Attractive" Things; Incoming Chairman Vows "Fair" Oversight As House Republicans weigh how to spend their time after taking power of the oversight committees in January, Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday urged the committee overseeing his department to "focus on things that are not going to be politically attractive but will be of substance." Before November's mid-term elections, Republicans on Capitol Hill promised to investigate allegations by two attorneys -- one currently with the Justice Department -- that the department's Civil Rights Division is "hostile" toward "race-neutral enforcement" of voting...

It's that time of the year when numerous organizations and news outlets publish or announce their "Best of..." or "Worst of..." or "Most important of..." or "Most popular of..." lists. Not to be outdone by the so-called elite media, below is a list from an industrious public-interest group whose sole mission is to investigate and prosecute government corruption wherever it is discovered. On Thursday, Judicial Watch released its 2010 list of Washington's “Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians.” While there may be some surprises, readers will note that neither political party has a monopoly on political corruption. Special thanks to Judicial...

The decision by First Lady Michelle Obama to leave on schedule for her two-week Hawaii vacation and not wait a few days for her delayed husband will probably cost taxpayers more than $63,000 in additional expenses, according to a White House Dossier analysis. President Obama was supposed to depart for Hawaii Saturday, but decided to stay in Washington until Congress finishes its work for the year. He’s now expected to depart today or tomorrow. But Mrs. Obama chose to leave without him Saturday, taking their two children and the dog along with her.

"My view is that Washington and the regulators are there to serve the banks" Rarely do you see a politician quite this honest: Last Wednesday, just hours after securing the position of chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Spencer Bachus, R-Ala., told the Birmingham News that "in Washington, the view is that the banks are to be regulated, and my view is that Washington and the regulators are there to serve the banks." In the very next paragraph, the newspaper reported that Bachus "later clarified his comment to say that regulators should set the parameters in which banks operate...

Rapiscan is one of the two companies that makes the nudie-scanners at airports for the TSA. Rapiscan CEO Deepak Chopra (who has the same name as the more famous Deepak Chopra, M.D.) recently was tapped by Obama to accompany the administration on Obama’s trip to India. Also, Chopra is an Obama donor. Read more at the Washington Examiner: http://washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confidential/2010/11/nudie-scan-ceo-obama-ally#ixzz15xjJ7JKX

ABC News fabricates a report to make Joe Miller look like a loser. Yesterday, ABC News’ Jonathan Karl alleged in a now-discredited report that Alaska Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller had lost the confidence of the National Republican Senatorial Committee and was thought to be a loser by the NRSC. However, the only big problem with that report of yellow journalism was that none of it was true at all. Clearly, ABC News just fabricated the report to misrepresent that Miller was going to lose, that Lisa Murkowski had the upper hand, and that the trailing Democrat in the race,...

You have to be kidding me... Shortly after Labor Day, as polls continued to sink, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) realized it needed a cash infusion for the upcoming midterm elections. Its chairman, former Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, turned to the Bank of America to secure a $15 million revolving credit line. Then, in the middle of this month, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) got another loan from BofA for an additional $17 million. Problem: Was the loan adequately collateralized - that is, truly "arms length"? Worse: Two days before the loan was closed, the DNC apparently changed its...

Perdue released a written statement Friday shortly after The News & Observer reported that federal grand jury subpoenas had been issued to people connected to her 2008 run for the state's highest elected office. Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Maes' second-biggest campaign expense is . . . Dan Maes and his family. The Evergreen businessman, who sold his credit-reporting company last year and has been running for office full time since March 2009, has been reimbursed $71,658 from his campaign. His daughter Jordan, his executive aide, has been paid $14,101 for work and some expenses, according to a Denver Post analysis. The total is nearly 30 percent of the $304,000 Maes has raised. His top expense is advertising, which totals $113,338. The amount of Dan Maes' expenses, which include mileage, travel, phone, food and drinks...

Wrong again, CharlieLast Updated: 4:09 AM, September 18, 2010 Last month, embattled Rep. Charles Rangel ripped into The Post for an article detailing how he'd helped an uptown nonprofit get a $2.6 million grant despite serious questions about his finances. "For The Post to try for political reasons to attack this organization," said Rangel, "once again they're picking on a giant without any facts at all." Well, the city Department of Investigation has just concluded its investigation of Alianza Dominicana, the politically wired group that has been a funding favorite of the Rangel-linked Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone. And guess what?...

After awarding as many as two a year Congressional Black Caucus Foundation scholarships to her family members and relatives of an aide, Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX) claims she did not know that was wrong. "Rep. Johnson told us that she did not know the rules of our scholarships, and that once she realized she erred, she would make retribution to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation in terms of returning the money," she said. Now that she has been busted as another corrupt Congressional Black Caucus member, Rep. Johnson is willing to give the money back. I wonder if she...
