Donald Trump Jr. was perfectly at home. It was day three of the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, commonly known as CPAC, and hundreds of activists had piled into a ballroom to hear the president’s elder son speak via live-stream. He was slated to have a conversation at Liberty University with the school’s president, Jerry Falwell Jr., though it was unclear, exactly, what that conversation would be about. While most other CPAC speakers were constrained by specific topics, such as “Protecting the Freedom of Jerusalem” and “Deficit Hawks: An Endangered Species?,” Don Jr.’s appearance was headlined on the agenda as...

I listened to this entire speech. (VP Mike Pence at CPAC 2019) Some of it was stilted as VP Pence's speaking style happens to be....but he was quite articulate in listing all of President Trump's accomplishments and quite enthusiastic. The speech was punctuated by many raucous standing ovations.

FULL TITLE: Koch Brothers Announce Plans to Intervene in GOP Primaries in Support of RINO, Open Border, “Free Trade” Republicans The Koch Brothers network announced they will intervene in GOP primaries in support of RINO hacks and open borders Republicans. The Kochs are not happy with the direction of the country under President Trump. They want Paul Ryan-like Republicans who can push trade policies that wipe out the US middle class. The Washington Examiner reported: "The Koch political network for the first time plans to intervene in GOP primaries as part of a deliberate 2020 strategy to reverse years of...

Cindy McCain hit back at conservative blogger and commentator Michelle Malkin on Twitter after Malkin attacked her late husband, Sen. John McCain, Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference. “You never knew @SenJohnMcCain . You should be so lucky,” the late senator’s widow tweeted. McCain, an Arizona Republican, supported increased border security but also advocated for compromise. He died in August, and attendees from both sides of the political spectrum gathered to pay their respects as he laid in state in both the Arizona Capitol and the U.S. Capitol Rotunda and for his funeral. The former prisoner of war and...

After Donald Trump has given such a clear and great example of brave leadership, you really would think a bunch of the CPAC speakers would follow his example, right..? Well, at least that's what I thought. In fact most of this year's CPAC is boring, stupid, and uninspired. A lot of them are channeling the John McCain and Linsay of 4 years ago, adding a little Bill Kristol seasoning, maybe. One refreshing exception is the speech of firecracker of Michelle Malkin, linked at source. She names the culprits, flat-out. So far, were it not for this one speech I would...

Not living one’s faith can become a threat to religious liberty, Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., said while speaking on a panel Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Conference. “One of the greatest challenges we have to religious liberty in this modern day is people that actually claim a faith and don’t live a faith,” Lankford said. “Having a culture that is a vibrant culture of faith for people that not only have a faith, but they choose to live it, matters in our culture.” “There are a whole group of people that say you can have a faith—just leave it...

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, accused Democrats of going "bat-crap crazy" during a speech to a gathering of conservative activists on Friday in which he assailed the other party for its views on abortion, border security, and the environment. “I think there is a technical description for what’s going on, which is that Democrats have gone batcrap crazy,” Cruz told National Review editor Rich Lowry at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Oxon Hill, Md. “They are getting more and more and more extreme on every issue,” Cruz said.

NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland — Conservative powerhouse Michelle Malkin took aim directly from the CPAC main stage Friday, at the lack of immigration focus while delivering fuel for the fight against longstanding abuses of the American immigration system. “The most important issue we face is immigration and we need to be talking about it for more than one panel for 20 minutes,” Malkin charged from the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) stage. “My first CPAC in 2002 was to talk about my very first book Invasion which exposed how border failures and systemic non-enforcement of our visa program rules created the...

During CPAC on Feb. 28, Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) thanked President Trump for nominating Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and having his "back."

Pence said, “Under the guise of Medicare for All and a Green New Deal, Democrats are embracing the same tired economic theories that have impoverished nations and stifled the liberties of millions over the past century. That system is socialism.” He added: “We know where socialism leads. You want socialism, just look at Venezuela. Venezuela was once one of the richest and most vibrant democracies in the Western Hemisphere, but under Maduro’s socialist rule, it has become one of the poorest and most despotic. Today, more than 9 out of 10 people live in poverty.” Pence singled out Sen. Bernie...

Vice President Mike Pence said in a wide-ranging speech Friday that President Donald Trump and the United States will continue dialog with North Korea to pressure the country towards denuclearization, after a recent summit between the two countries was cut short due to disagreements in negotiations. "Last night, Trump returned from a second historic summit with North Korea in Vietnam,'" Pence said at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland, after the US-North Korea summit in Hanoi, Vietnam, broke up earlier than expected without a deal. "The President said it was productive two days and discussions among teams will continue....

CNN)Sen. Lindsey Graham joked about the rocky start to his relationship with President Donald Trump in a speech Thursday. "So President Trump and I did not start off well," the South Carolina Republican said at the Conservative Political Action Conference just outside Washington. "I remember being there the night he got elected and he said, 'Hey, Lindsey, I don't have your phone number,' and I said, 'There's a reason for that.' " Graham was a primary opponent of Trump's in 2016 and one of Trump's harshest critics within the GOP leading up to, and immediately after, the 2016 election.

On Thursday, MyPillo CEO Mike Lindell compared President Barack Obama's tenure to the End Times prophesied in the Bible and called President Donald Trump's election a miracle from God. Lindell described his entry into politics as an awakening from years of apathy. "I woke up from years of addiction, and I was oblivious as to what was going on in our country," he began. Lindell described a tragic setting: "What I saw before me were friends unemployed, terrible political correctness, people saying 'Happy Holidays' instead of 'Merry Christmas,' and people trying to take God out of everything, and not even...

Diamond and Silk unloaded a chorus of attacks on socialism, the Green New Deal, anti-Israel politicians and race-baiting hate-crime hoaxes in a fiery tandem address at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday, prompting some of the biggest standing ovations and loudest chants of the day. CPAC, held in National Harbor, Maryland, offered opportunities throughout the day for prominent Republicans -- including Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, the top Republican on the House Oversight Committee, as well as North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows -- to sound off on current events, as Ronald Reagan soundbites occasionally sounded throughout the halls. Then...

CNN analyst Van Jones credited the conservative movement with galvanizing support for criminal-justice reform during a Thursday appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC)….(snip) ...“The conservative movement in this country, unfortunately from my point of view, is now the leader on this issue of reform,” Jones said.... . . What you’re seeing now is Republican governors being tough on the dollars. Tough on crime and shrinking the prison population.”

Jacob Wohl is a 21-year-old Trump supporter from California who laughs at how much he’s hated by liberals: “Of course they hate me. I’m destroying everything they love.” Wohl is a political prodigy. Having started his first business while still in high school, he was investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission when he was only 18 years old, an investigation he believes was a “Deep State” reprisal for his outspoken support of Trump during the 2016 campaign. When we met in the lobby bar of the Gaylord Hotel on the first day of the 46th annual Conservative Political Action...
