  • Lying Dem Candidate’s Complicated Dance Around A Gun Ban

This is a story which started back in July but is heating up once again in the final week before the midterms. As you may recall, Tedra Cobb is the Democratic candidate hoping to unseat Republican Elise Stefanik in New York’s 21st congressional district. It’s a fairly conservative, upstate region with a long history of Second Amendment support. Unfortunately for Cobb, someone caught her on camera telling her supporters that she would support an “assault weapons” ban if she made it to Washington, but couldn’t say so publicly because it would cost her the election.

Don't worry, be happy, about a caravan of 14,000 people marching toward our southern border. Nothing to fret about. That was Joe Scarborough's line on today's Morning Joe. Trying to shrug off the threat, Scarborough sniffed that the caravan "doesn't really affect" the people concerned about it, and then claimed: "That April caravan, where Trump and Fox News said thousands and thousands of people were invading. It ended up like 11 people and a hound dog."Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

RUSH: Folks, I’m gonna just tell you right now. I don’t believe, and I haven’t believed for a long time, that there has been this slam-dunk blue wave. What we’re being told right now is that six months ago, nine months ago, all the way back to December when the first generic ballots polls were taken, that the Democrats had a 12- to 13-point advantage, that the American people realized their mistake electing Trump and Republicans and couldn’t wait to put Democrats back in power. Now, that argued against real life. Real life since 2010 is the Democrats have been...

Paul and Scott have joined in the general hilarity over Elizabeth Warren’s disclosure that she might be something like 1/1,000 Native American. (Then again, she might not be. There is so little Native American DNA in the database that several Latin American countries, including Mexico, are used as proxies. Warren may have a better claim to being Hispanic than Indian.) It turns out that Warren likely has less Native American blood than the average white American. Not to mention the wag who noted that she has more bourbon in her blood than Warren has Indian. But Warren doggedly sticks to...

James O'Keefe's Project Veritas Action has caught Tennessee Democratic candidate Phil Bredesen's campaign staffers admitting on tape that the supposedly moderate politician is actually pulling a political ruse over Tennessee voters by claiming to support President Trump's agenda as well as lying about his would-be vote for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh had he been in senate. In a roughly 10 minutes long video released on Wednesday night, undercover operatives for James O'Keefe recorded a Bredesen campaign field organizer by the name of Will Stewart calling the people of Tenessee "ignorant" and claiming his candidate only announced support for Brett...

CNN is still clinging to the notion that Deborah Ramirez's uncorroborated allegation that Brett Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a drunken Yale party is not merely credible, but "certainly credible." On this morning's New Day, host Alisyn Camerota spoke of "these accusations against Brett Kavanaugh—not one, but certainly two credible ones." Now that the allegation of adolescent groping by Brett Kavanaugh seems to have been dismantled, and the evidence that he has improperly wagged his peepee at an unwelcoming woman is stuck at zero, and the gang-rape allegation appears to have been made by a group-sex aficionado, the next big allegations against Kavanaugh are that a) he drank in high school and college, b) he threw ice on some guy in a college bar, c) he was rude to our natural aristocracy, and d) he lied about his drinking. After the latest revelation concerning Ford, I think the perjury charge is...

One thing I learned watching the witch trial of Brett Kavanaugh on MSNBC, is that a prestigious university in New York has a Vice President for Social Justice. (She is an MSNBC commentator). Her Orwellian title is but one of many signs that our country is already on the threshold of 1984; the Judiciary Committee circus is another. In her comments on the hearings, the Vice President for Social Justice, Maya Wiley, was clearly out for blood, and had no interest in evidence, due process, or the facts. She is also of course both a woman, a woman “of color”...

In the court of public opinion and the U.S. Senate, Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s problem is that Christine Blasey Ford has a narrative and he does not. He has only the forceful and angry denials of an innocent man. But a counter-narrative does exist, based upon Ford’s own words and actions, which goes to explain why and how she made these false accusations, and without eliding her own agency in making decisions. Quite clearly, Kavanaugh has faced a host of patently unfair problems dealing with Ford’s unsubstantiated charge that he sexually assaulted her as teen 36 years ago. Many are obvious....

Why is it in the Republican talking points that Christine Blasey-Ford is a "credible witness?" Either she's lying or she's crazy or Brett Kavanaugh tried to rape her, but EVERY ... LAST ... SINGLE ... REPUBLICAN -- even Lindsey Graham -- I've heard has falling over themselves to establish that she's a "credible witness." I believe SOMEONE attacked her. Maybe that's why she has spent her career finding uses for the abortion pill, to keep in on market in spite of its disastrous health records, and she has played along with this literally diabolical ambush. She never wanted to go...

Congratulations to Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, I guess. No, no, wait. The offense alleged here is serious, much more than Kavanaugh and a pal locking a female classmate in a room or whatever, as was claimed yesterday. And Farrow’s track record (he co-wrote the piece with Obama apologist Jane Mayer) will lend it a patina of credibility to readers. But the evidence is thin as can be. The woman, who has asked not to be identified, first approached Democratic lawmakers in July, shortly after Trump nominated Kavanaugh. The allegation dates back to the early nineteen-eighties, when Kavanaugh was...

Sen. Ron Wyden said Thursday that it appears Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh lied to Congress in 2006 when he testified about when he learned of a post-9/11 surveillance program. The Oregon Democrat said in an emailed statement to the Washington Examiner that documents published by the New York Times appear to contradict Kavanaugh’s testimony. “Yes, the documents made public this week strongly suggest Brett Kavanaugh was involved in discussions about the Bush administration’s illegal warrantless wiretapping programs, and that he misled the American people in his 2006 testimony,” Wyden said.

Last Thursday, we asked how long it would take before Lanny Davis again changed his story about what his client, Michael Cohen, knows about President Trump. It turned out to be four days. Meanwhile, CNN is standing by a story that relied in part on claims that Davis now says he never should’ve made. It all started with last month’s bombshell CNN report that Cohen, Trump’s former personal attorney, was claiming his then-boss knew in advance of the 2016 Trump Tower meeting between campaign officials and a Russian operative. The CNN story said outright that Davis had declined comment, implying...
