Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Sunday warned of airline disruptions if Congress is unable to pass funding bills or come to a short-term resolution before Friday, which would trigger a government shutdown. “A shutdown would include, just in the transportation side alone, shutting down air traffic control training at the exact moment when the country recognizes the need for more, not less air traffic control staffing and when we have finally got cancellations back at or below normal rates,” Buttigieg said on CNN’s “State of The Union.”

According to pool reports, Trump's motorcade made a long loop to get back to Mar-a-Lago after leaving Trump International Golf Club around 1:30 p.m. Meanwhile, reporters traveling separately in press vans that continued on the shorter route back to the luxury resort immediately encountered "hundreds of protesters" demanding the president release his tax returns. One White House reporter tweeted a video of the route...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Climate change and extreme weather already are causing disruptions in the U.S. energy supply that are likely to worsen as more intense storms, higher temperatures and more frequent droughts occur, the government says in a new report. The report, released Thursday by the Energy Department, says blackouts and other problems caused by Superstorm Sandy and other extreme weather events are likely to be repeated across the country as an aging energy infrastructure struggles to adapt to rising seas, higher storm surges and increased flooding. A range of energy sources are at risk, from coal-fired power plants to...

Tonight's panel took a look at the disruptions at various 'town hall' meetings. Mort and Charles both through the blame at Rush Limbaugh and said he was responsible for the yelling matches at these events. What a total lack of understanding! None of the 'disruptions' occurred until Obama called on SEIU to HIT BACK HARDER! It doesn't take a genius to realize that the source of the problems is SEIU and their thuggery. I really believe Charles needs to wander outside of the I95 and see what is really happening. Very dissapointing analysis on their parts.

In the short term, costs related to rebuilding after the trio of devastating hurricanes will make it harder...
