Thanks to a global positioning system device, a career thief has found his way back to prison. Wade D. Arvidson, 42, of Eagan, pleaded guilty to theft charges after being connected to a nighttime business burglary through a GPS device that authorities had planted on his motorcycle. The agreement was announced Monday. Eagan police, suspecting Arvidson's involvement in another property crime, got a judge's permission to attach the tracking device to Arvidson's motorcycle last summer.
